We ate every meal here, and the food just got better and better!! The aloo paratha and Channa Masala are top picks! The hotel room was very good for what we needed, and the staff were able to assist us in getting to where we needed to go.

We felt so comfortable at this place. They had the best rooms for the cheapest price, it felt like luxury. Every night the owner made a bonfire, where we could sit at chat with each other, what created a really nice and trustful atmosphere. Besides that we and our bagbacks could stay after check out the whole day, doing yoga and feeling free to do whatever we wanted to do. The restaurant serves delicious food, I can really recommend the special chit chat thali.

We booked the hotel through booking.com and though we reached at odd hours, the manager was friendly and also staff provided with all the required services. The best part of the hotel is the traditional look, the "jhopadi" styled dining area was the main attraction point. This Rajasthani themed hotel served us with good food too. Thali was the best. Room was not that spacious, WiFi worked well. Overall a good hotel to stay with family.

Two year we stayed here too and that time we had a pleasant stay. This time staff was uninterested. TV suddenly had no channels because something with payment and if you flushed the toilet you had to jump or got wet feet. Price was way too high for the quality and service offered. They say they have free WiFi but that was 2 year ago. This time no WiFi at all. We were the only guest but still they charged us full day extra when we asked if we could extend the checkout time until evening because our train to Udaipur There are much better places nearby with a lower price too. Don’t waste your time here.

Had a great dinner here during our stay in Jaipur. A simple little restaurant with good food, beer and prices are seriously cheap. Menu has a good selection and the service was friendly and efficient.

I visited India many times and this ChitChat hotel and restaurant is the best. Got a nice price for a pilgrim and get to know Mohan-ji. Thank you so much for your hospitality. 5 stars. Food is excellent and rooms are nice. I'll sure visit again, when in Jaipur. Hare Krishna.

This place was a great find! It was the cheapest and best rated option we found and we chose it as we were getting a late train into Jaipur and wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance of the station. The room was big and clean (aside from few marks on the sheets- but we were in sleeping bag liners anyway). Shower good and air con worked perfectly. Room was quiet throughout the night and the location feels very safe. We also found an amazing restaurant around the corner which was a bit of a bonus (JK restaurant). We extended our stay for 2 more nights based on our good experience. Mohan at reception was a really helpful, friendly face who organised us a tuk tuk on our first day to see all the sites. We had such a great day, we then followed his advice on our second day of seeing some of the bazaars and he arranged tuk tuk to take us to the monkey temple at sunset. Overall a really good stay and I would highly recommend it for backpackers or budget travellers to Jaipur. Thanks Mohan! 😀
