One of the best places for family and friends get together. Birds and peacock greet you at breakfast. Good family resort ! We have been here for 5th time and have never been disappointed with the food and hospitality. Recommend for family / friends reunions.
A very special thanks to Head chef Gopal Giri and his team for making our stay so special. Not only did we enjoy a very customised approach to our food, the dishes were delicious! I was also treated to a private demonstration of a very special dish of Ker Sangri that I have grown up eating but don’t get to enjoy in London where I am now based. His hospitality was truly exceptional! Thank you! We will be back!
We had a wonderful time at Samode Bagh. The property is wonderful with lots of peaceful green space. The gardens are beautiful although the flowers and fountains were not in full bloom when we went (end Jan). We even got to see partridges! A great place to unwind and spend time with family reading, chilling, playing badminton, table tennis, pool and enjoying the bonfire in the winter evenings. The staff was super polite and present. During our 3 day stay we also drove up to Alila at Bishangarh fort for lunch also saw the samode palace. Would recommend both highly. We will definitely be going back!
Amazing amazing experience. A lovely property with traditional serene ambience and class apart service. Special recommendation for the food, cooked with so much warmth, passion and love spiced with years of experience by the head chef Mr. Gopal Ji. Each delicacy was a delight to eat, so much home like and the best quality. Luck and light to the entire team!
Amazing property with open spaces, greenery and well curated garden. Great hospitality and very comfortable AC tents with hygiene and clean washrooms. Good place to just relax and be with yourself. Must visit place
It’s just amazing place to stay in outskirts of Jaipur. Best time to visit is winters - they have amazing greenery and mornings are welcomed by creeping birds. The staff is just too good and accommodative in every manner. Great hospitality - good Food and if you get to have Rajasthani food - nothing like it. We loved our stay and highly recommend for friends and family group.

An oasis of green , the Bagh, lives up to its name. Gentle walks down fountained paths, the summer pavillion. a delightful Shareefa tree, tamaring trees and the cacophany of maurading parrots- a step back in time when royalty would have unwound here. Loved our luxurious faux tent. Lacked nothing in terms of amenities. The food was awesome. Gopalji and his team put up a spread worthy of a king. Jeetu was omnipresent and ever ready to help. Niranjanji ensured that we were made super welcome at the Samode Palace. A tour through the gorgeous palace and an equally gorgeous dinner, wrapped up a memorable experience. Shyam and Manoj sure knew the palace like the back of their hands. Our server was the warm Ranjan Mohapatra. Pallav Ahuja sure runs a tight ship at the Samode Palace. Kudos to the team and unmatched Rajputana hospitality. We will return. Sangram Mahal on the agenda next time. Devesh Nigam and Reena Bhatnagar…
We showed up at the Swimming Pool at 6.55 am and the pool was being cleaned. The pool in-charge in a super aggressive and rude manner asked us to come back at 8 am saying that he will need another hour to clean the pool. He said pool timings did indeed start from 7 am but they also include time for cleaning!!!! He was obnoxious to the extent that he said "aap reception pe bol dijiye". The food menu is super limited. The non-veg in the buffet is literally 1 item. The breakfast has no cold cuts (no sausages, ham or salami) and the staff says they are using only veggies and hence no cold cuts. You ask for tea in a kettle and you are told to walk to the tea counter. The booze is supremely over-priced. Calls to the reception are answered quickly but the service happens at its own sweet pace and after atleast 1-2 reminders. I had been to Samode Bagh in 2007-2008 as part of an office off-site and remember having a blast. This trip however was definitely my last one!!…
