Travellers' Choice
WelcomHeritage Traditional Haveli, Jaipur was constructed in late 1940's by Rai Sahib Laxmi Pati Singhania and was used as his private residence until 1956. Later in 1958, this property was sold to Badiyal Thakur, who partially used the Haveli to entertain his personal guests and later converted it into a Hotel. During 2012, the present owners, Mr. Dinesh Goyal of Lisadiya Village in Sikar district, purchased this spectacular Haveli and made some laudable up-gradations, to delight the travellers.

The Suite with its gold coloured decor is simply amazing! And the price is really affordable so I recommend everyone to stay at this beautiful heritage property at least once! The staff is very nice and the food is also great.

In this hotel everything is right, the decor, the service, the rooms. An atmosphere of yesteryear, but not outdated. I highly recommend it. You can rest there and enjoy the swimming pool. This hotel will be perfect.

A very neat and clean haveli, decor is pristine, staff is good, food is good, location is terrific, cafe in the hotel premises belches out terrific coffee. A minus on the bed sheets being old and worn and lag in attending to issues with bathroom exhaust. Overall a courteous and helpful staff. Parking of own car is on a adjacent plot of land yet secure. Location centre of the city.

I visited their coffee shop, called Coffee & Company, with my family. And what a wonderful experience it was. The most amazing coffee cocktails and delicious finger food. My personal favourite were the spring rolls. Crisp, spicy, and with the wholesome goodness of fresh vegetables. And they even customised some noodles, and eggs, for my parents. I'll be dropping by frequently. One of the nicest coffe shops in towns with the sweetest garden ambiance. Kudos to the young man who manages this place and always serves you with a smile, and utmost politeness.

I stayed in a premium room, which was beautiful and so reasonably priced, considering the size and the decor. The manager was a real sweet man but to be honest some of the staff could do with some extra training; for example when taking a guest up to their room show them how things work don't just put their bag down and wait for a tip, also waitors in restaurant shouldn't openly laugh about a customer with another member of staff. The big drawback of this place is the wifi, I stayed 4 days and couldn't ever connect in my room, there was good signal in the communal areas downstairs but nothing in my room. Despite the minus factors, on balance this is still a 5* review because the room you get for the money you pay is great value.

We stayed at an upgraded premium room which was nicely decorated like rest of the property. The linen were clean, hygiene had been well maintained. Except the fact that the windows could not be opened, [due to adjacent properties], which made the room stuffy and devoid of natural light and air, the other major drawback was that the bathroom faucet was leaky. To add to the wastage of water, there was no bucket to atleast prevent the loss of water due to the leaky faucet. The service of the hotel in regular room cleaning is well appreciated, but it must NEVER be done without prior intimation/approval of the guest, NOT when the guests have stepped out and have not sought any cleaning. Came as a surprise to us, so a word of caution. Wake up service was offered on the day we were supposed to check out, without us asking for it. Since we had only one meal, found quality of food average. Avoid having hard drinks since they cost a bomb here. Overall a nice place to stay.

The property is well maintained. Rooms give a feel of Rajasthani culture. The housekeeping staff is courteous and prompt. The breakfast menu though limited is delicious and overall food taste is upto the mark. The only room for improvement is the travel desk which is highly misleading and fraudulent.
