Review of My One-Night Stay at the Hotel in Jaipur
During my recent visit to Jaipur, I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for one night with my family. Below is a detailed review based on my experience.
Pros: Reception Staff: The reception staff was polite and courteous, though their responses were somewhat to the point. They were professional and welcoming.
Housekeeping: The housekeeping staff demonstrated a positive attitude and were also warm and polite. One of the luggage attendants stood out for his humility. When I was unable to tip him on the first day due to a lack of change, he reassured me not to worry about such formalities.
Dining Experience: We had lunch at the hotel, and I found the food to be enjoyable and satisfactory, meeting our expectations.
Terrace Bar: The terrace bar offered a delightful experience, where we enjoyed a small cultural performance featuring folk music and dance. The atmosphere and ambiance were relaxed and pleasing, enhancing our overall enjoyment.
Transport Services: Zakir Bhai, the in-charge of transport services, was cordial and cooperative. The one-day tour he organized covered most of the major attractions in the area.
Cons: Room Size: The room allocated to us appeared to be smaller than expected. I raised this concern with the manager during checkout, who informed me that larger rooms are available. However, considering the hotel is rated as a 4-star property, I believe that the minimum room size should be larger than the one provided.
Restaurant Service: The restaurant staff did not fully adhere to specific guest requests. Although I did not opt for breakfast, I requested a special tea (for an additional charge) to be prepared with strong elaichi (cardamom) and sugar incorporated during the preparation. Unfortunately, the staff served the tea as part of the standard breakfast offering, with the sugar provided separately in sachets rather than mixed in as per my request.
Breakfast Spread: Although I did not avail myself of the breakfast, I noticed that the spread could be significantly expanded. Given that the hotel claims to be a 4-star establishment, the variety of the breakfast offering should be improved to match that classification.
Conclusion: If this property were categorized as a 3-star hotel, I would have rated it 4 stars based on my experience. However, as it is classified as a 4-star property, there are areas that require improvement, particularly in terms of room size and the ability to accommodate specific guest requests.
Overall, this hotel could still be a viable option for a stay, especially if priced competitively.

The property is of a 3 star standard rather than 4 star. We had booked the Suite but my kids were bitten at night by mosquitoes quite a lot. We later realised the mosquito repellant in the room was empty. This should have been checked prior to check in.
Service at restaurant was a little abrupt and rude. I ordered a tea one night but it was 45 minutes and it still did not arrive. When i said i would like to cancel it as my kids were tired and needed to get them to bed (it was at 10.30pm) they refused to cancel, so i had to leave but they still charged me for it in my final bill. I couldnt be asked to argue about a cup of tea payment, but it just showed a shoddy service.
Also on The final morning we had a flight so had to leave the hotel 15 mins before breakfast time started and had requested if we could have a small packed breakfast for my kids but was straight out refused , as they said breakfast starts at 6.30pm (we requested to get a small packed breakfast for the kids at 6.15am!) So despite us paying for a room with inclusive breakfast we were not able to avail it in our final morning. Its just these little things that the hotel lacked in- customer service.
Eventhough the property is beautiful, i would not recommend it to my family and friends as was slightly let down by the service.

I could be being a little hard at 3 star because it is a lovely building in good area of the city. Short, if inevitably chaotic, trip from the station and located right by a bus terminus. Not that we were taking any buses but you are guaranteed the hustle and bustle (and street food options) of an Indian City. Beds were not as comfy as the other hotels we stayed at and staff not as engaging. Curiously the water in the room did not come on till 6:30 which was curious if you planned leaving early.

Very nice hotel, clean, a little far from the center. Good rooftop restaurant with show and varied breakfast. On the other hand dishonest 😭 3 days without air conditioning the effect noted 5 times by the staff and managers, and promised us to give a discount on the rather expensive room but ultimately nothing, despite a long discussion. Be careful of tax after tax in every direction. Go your way, it's a shame that the staff members apart from the managers at the welcome is adorable. Damage...

Whilst there were some positives to this hotel such as it was clean, had a good location and good food (and excellent restaurant staff), I would probably not recommend staying here.
I experienced an extremely noisy hotel. One particularly frustrating night, a member of staff was sanding the paint on the walls outside my room (and other rooms) at 9:30pm at night. When I tried to communicate with the staff that it was loud and preventing me from sleeping, staff were dismissive and said that it would continue until at least 10:30pm. Not sure why this maintenance was not carried out during the daytime so as not to disturb the guests.
Definitely not worth the amount paid for zero sleep.
Overall, if you choose to stay here, byo earplugs and eye mask (for the bright lights that shine into the bedrooms from the corridor)

Worst hotel please avoid as there was a big problem of hot water. They work only for foreigners when the hotel was full with them no issue . The moment they checkout issues starting. A humble request to all please avoid this hotel as there are many other hotels in Jaipur. Just to get the hot water up and running it took them more than 30 mins….

Very bad experience , even after staying for 4 nights and checking in v late and checking out v early they were very v rigid when we requested them to give us a room for 2 hours just to rest before we left to airport . We were 3 ladies alone and we had a late night flight and we had checked our early too. They made us sit at the reception even though they had empty rooms, they asked for rs 1500 for using room for2 hrs inspite of the fact that we stayed for 4 nights!!Will never recommend this hotel to anyone as they are not customer friendly

The hotel is located close to the bus stand making it well connected. it's walkable from the main road and is connected with Rickshaws also. The rooms are done tastefully and the lobby/waiting area is quiet cozy too. The breakfast was just okay and i would rather suggest travellers to try local cuisine outside. the Jaipur fort is well connected and a must visit if you are staying here. The evening dinner has local artists performance at the rooftop.

Had a really good experience at Laxmi Palace hotel. The rooms were spacious and we booked a 3x person room and each of us had a proper bed which was nice as some places just provide sofa beds.
Beds weren't the comfiest but the room was clean and bathroom was clean and modern.
Really good service, restaurant food was amazing (except the fish masala which came and looked raw) and the pool area was spotless.
We would deffo return here and it is in a good location too.

Apologies got it mixed up with another hotel. I didn’t use the pool as it was a bit cold at the time, so I’m not sure if we could take drinks to the pool side.
The breakfast was fine. I wouldn’t say there was heaps of variety but for one or two nights it would suit perfectly and the hotel is quiet, comfortable and well appointed.
There are more places to choose from in the Jaipur area.
