I recently stayed at Hotel Shikha in Jaipur, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, just a short distance from Bapu Bazaar and Johri Bazaar, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and exploring the vibrant local culture.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. The staff at Hotel Shikha were courteous and attentive. From check-in to check-out, they went out of their way to ensure that every aspect of my visit was seamless and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Jaipur and want to stay close to iconic markets while enjoying excellent hospitality, I highly recommend Hotel Shikha. I can’t wait to return on my next trip to the Pink City!

I didn't like the hotel service at all; the rooms were quite okay, but the service was very bad. The food tasted good, but the prices were like touching the sky. A regular cup of coffee, which has just an ordinary taste, which we can make at home, for that they charged me ₹100. For room service I had to call the receptionist again and again. While dining in the hotel, even just for the spoon, I had to ask the staff so many times. As a tourist, it is obvious that you leave for the sightseeing as early as possible, so definitely getting a cleaning service in the morning is a must, but when I asked for it, they said the cleaning service is available after noon. The hotel doesn't even have a lift, so it was so difficult to carry bags. The bathrooms are very small compared to images shown on their websites. I won't recommend this hotel at all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We deeply regret that your experience fell short of your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Your stay coincided with a time when the hotel was fully sold out, and while we strive to maintain impeccable service even during peak occupancy, we acknowledge that there may have been delays. This is not reflective of the high standards we aim to uphold, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Regarding your concern about luggage, we do have a dedicated team to assist guests with carrying their bags up and down the stairs. Being one of Jaipur’s oldest boutique hotels located in the prime C-Scheme area, overlooking the beautiful Deer Park, our historic design does not include a lift. However, our team is always available to assist guests and ensure their comfort. About the morning cleaning service, we follow a structured process to prioritize rooms. Housekeeping begins with the rooms of guests who have checked out, as these need to be prepared for new arrivals. Once those rooms are ready, our staff proceeds to clean in-house guest rooms, prioritizing those where keys are left behind to allow us access. We understand this may not have aligned with your schedule, and we’re looking into ways to better accommodate such requests. Your feedback regarding room service delays, food pricing, and bathroom sizes has been noted. While our pricing reflects the quality and freshness of the ingredients we use, we will carefully review it to ensure it offers better value. Additionally, we aim to represent our rooms as accurately as possible, and we’ll make every effort to align expectations more effectively moving forward. We sincerely apologize that your experience wasn’t as enjoyable as we hoped it would be. If given another opportunity, we would love to welcome you back and provide the warm, attentive service that so many of our guests cherish. Please feel free to reach out directly at info@hotelshikha.com, and we will be delighted to assist you personally.

Very confortable and spacious rooms, and friendly staff. In India I always value for quiet places, and is not easy to find places far from the city hustle, where I can rest in the room without using earplugs. A lot of shops and reastaurants nearby.

This is a 2 star hotel and located in the center of the city. Rooms: Hotel rooms are small and they will provide 2 chair, one small table along with bed. I am deducting one point here because few rooms are located which have a view of a drain. They have other rooms where you can have deer park view. Staff: Helpful staff and they provided us with room heater along with the dental and shaving kit on request. Housekeeping: Daily housekeeping were done and the hotel was also neat and clean. Food: Food taste is good but they take lot of time to prepare the food. Their restaurant is on renovation. Cafe: This is one of nice thing. The cafe is open for 24 hours and you can sit and work and relax. Overall: Nice hotel and within budget.

This was my second visit and stay at the Shikha. Located right in C-Scheme opposite the Deer Park and having been operating for more than thirty years, everyone especially taxi and auto drivers know about it and will safely get you there. People with reduced mobility might have some issues as there are no rooms on the ground floor and there is no elevator present. However, everything else in this hotel especially its staff is five star quality Mr Balbir Singh, the Manager looks after every guest and organises their particular food options as was the case with me as I don't eat spicy food. The WiFi connection is very fast and uninterrupted all the times, as I saw both the times I stayed here. Hardly any hotel in this locality within this price range will provide you with your own small balcony, ample parking space and even a small green lawn to stretch your legs. Every room has amazing Mitsubishi Heavy air-conditioners which make the room cold as an ice box, should you want to. Beds are nice and clean and so are the sheets and towels, there are even mini fridges in every room. Will be very happy to stay for my third visit too.

Hotel Shikha is located strategically between the station and the walled city. It's out of the hussle and bustle, but you can get around easily by auto or on foot. The hotel has a great atmosphere and all the amenities you need for a few days stay. Working flatscreen in the room, hot shower, AC, drinking water, etc. The staff is very friendly and accomodating and the rooms are value for money. For coffee or some food you can easily hop down to the cafe next door or one of the many restaurants around.

The location of the hotel was good, but we were so disappointed. Check-in took forever with lots of paperwork and communication difficulties. The hotel and our room were dirty and when we asked for a heater, we were provided with something that was ancient. The smell when switched on was of burning and it most definitely was not safe! There was no restaurant and we were told to call reception half hour before we wanted breakfast to eat in our room or a room which was labelled ‘Meeting Room’. Needless to say, no one seemed to use it. The staff were very polite, but seemed nervous and stood watching us while we ate. The hotel website is nothing like the hotel, apart from a nice coffee shop and hairdresser and it was obvious that the hotel has seen better days - the advertised bar and club with restaurant and cocktails doesn’t exist. I would definitely not stay in this hotel again.
