We stayed at the Jaipur Friendly Villas for three nights during a tour through Rajasthan and can easily say this was the best place we have stayed. The name certainly is apt as Shveta and Kul ensured we had a most memorable stay. They were delightful, welcoming and informative. Nothing was too much trouble from organising a driver for the whole day, booking Ubers, to recommending local restaurants.. The house is just a short drive (15-20 minutes) to the walled city but the was quick and easy by taxi. We had a very spacious room with a double bed and en-suite. It was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, with all the facilities and mod cons you need. There is also a large balcony upstairs, which is nice for a bit of quiet outside time and gardens was a wonderful calm oasis away from the bustle of city life We definitely recommend staying here and Shveta and Kul deserve top awards as hosts.

The Friendly Villa in Jaipur is a beautiful private house located in an oasis of peace in a lovely residential area.
What makes this place so special is the warmth and kindness of the owners, Shveta and her husband. They provided us very useful advice on restaurants and also recommended a reliable driver with a car. They are also very accommodating. Our flight to Jaipur was very delayed and Shveta kindly proposed to have dinner at their house even though it was nearly 10:00 pm. She cooked an amazing Indian dinner for us. The breakfast was delicious with a large choice of fruit, homemade yoghurt, jam and cake eggs, omelette and a tasty Indian dish which was different every day. Shveta is also an amazing cook and we were blessed to have a cooking class with her cooking a four course menu. All dishes were so tasty and Shveta is very good to adapt the level of spice you like. Our room was spacious, spotless and beautifully furnished with all requested amenities. It was more like staying at a friend's place than a hotel or b&b and it will remain our best stay in India
We cannot recommend enough the friendly villa and it's very exclusive too since there are only two rooms to rent for guests.

Best stay on our tour by someway. Good safe area / most welcoming hosts. We had a very late arrival due to delay Shveta and Kul could not do enough to welcome us. They also helped us to change travel arrangements and anything else we asked. Both have very good English which is also a great help.If you have an offer to have an evening meal with them it’s a must do. Cooked to you taste perfectly with opportunity to try family cooking rather than Restaurant at a very reasonable price. Best welcome Best cleanliness Best bed Best food Best shower Great wi fi

Kul and Sveta are wonderful hosts - we immediately felt right at home. The villa is a peaceful haven from the bustle of the city and a perfect launchpad for our stay in Jaipur. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept very well despite our jet lag. Our children loved the breakfast and the dinner Sveta cooked for us (she should write that recipe book soon!), and the nearby restaurant they recommended was also a hit. I appreciated some of the nearby high end local shops and the whole family loved our trip to the Amber Palace. Kul and Sveta are full of good recommendations and arranged a driver and family outing to the elephant sanctuary for us. We can’t recommend staying here enough - it was a fantastic welcome and start to our family holiday. It’s not just a place to stay, it really is a home from home and we really cherished their care and attention. We’re determined to come back!

On our trip through Rajasthan we stayed in the really friendly villa for a few days. The hosts were so welcoming that we were already thinking about our next vacation in Jaipur. If you are looking for a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets, this is the place for you.
Every morning there was a freshly prepared Indian breakfast with stimulating conversations. The atmosphere is very familiar.
Our room was very large and clean. We really felt at home here.
Highly recommended!

We stayed at this wonderful B&B in Feb 2020. We had the most enjoyable time. The facilities are spacious and immaculate. The hosts are thoughtful, friendly, kind, considerate and give you the space you need. The food is delicious, varied, and plentiful. Anything you want is not an unreasonable request. Kul, Shweta, and Kriti go out of their way to make you comfortable. Would not stay anywhere else in Jaipur.

Jaipur Friendly Villa is a beautiful homestay. I felt welcomed and very comfortable from the start, with a tasty homemade dinner upon arrival and a spacious, warm room with nice decorative touches. They arranged a good driver for me so that I could see as many sites as possible in just one full day--and also recommended a wonderful restaurant up the road in their quiet, safe neighborhood. Highly recommended spot for those exploring Jaipur!

Before we even arrived we knew we would have a personal experience. From advice on the best tours in town, to getting a personal driver and even on the best way to get there from Delhi, we were helped before we even arrived. Once we actually arrived, we were met at the front gate by Kul and were quickly assisted with our luggage that was brought to the room for us. My young children were very excited by the property, the amazing room and most importantly, their dog. Apparently, they already felt like they were at home. Then we were welcomed into the courtyard for some fruit, delicious homemade treats and masala tea made by Sveta herself. SO GOOD!!! Every night, we enjoyed sitting down to chat about how our day was, what we would like to do the next day and how to best accomplish that. A couple of nights we even got to sample some family made food and Kul even shared one of his Indian rose liquors, which was actually quite good. Every morning we were greeted with a custom tailored breakfast, chat and well wishes for the day. I really liked how well Kul and Sveta were prepared for picky American children and how tolerant they were with all the nuances that said children introduce on a trip into a foreign country. It really helped to reduce the stress of travel and we had an AMAZING time. We definitely will return here if ever in the Jaipur area again. I miss the food and company already!

Great location in a very quiet area outside Jaipur in a lovely garden full of flowers and birds. We arrived there after a long journey with heavy trafic and endless hooting that had made us tired and worn out. But once there, we were so warmly welcomed by the very FRIENDLY owners, they served us tea and cookies on the lovely terrace and made us immediately feel at home. The room we had was very spacious and comfy. As the nights were very chilly, they provided us with blankets, hot tea and an electric heater. The owners were very caring and helpful all the time. They showed us an interesting film on a huge screen about the history of India in their elegant livingroom. The owner even drove us to a nearby restaurant. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean. In the morning we had a yummy freshly prepared breakfast on a big table in the dining room. We highly recommend a stay in FRIENDLY VILLA, it is an oasis in amazing yet loud and crowdy Jaipur!
