Suraj Utekar was exceptional at his work. He speaks gently and listens to one’s requests. Each time I went down for breakfast, I would request my room be cleaned and sure enough on my return, the room had been promptly cleaned and serviced perfectly.
The executive lounge is just the right amount of relaxed atmosphere and enough variety at the table for me to have an early dinner each evening after a tiring day. One feedback though. The noodles dish last night had some under cooked noodles. Would be nice to be a little vigilant there.
The staff are attentive and mindful of your requests. It’s also good to have smiling faces first thing in the morning at breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar - the location could not be closer to Mumbai T2 airport (a 4 min drive). Marriott Sahar is far more modern and stylish than its other local (and more dated) local competitors and boasts exceptional amenities. Great restaurants, view, pool with fantastic large rooms. We took a club room with access to the lounge with complimentary food and drinks - all staff at this hotel should congratulated for their service especially the delightful Monalisa in the private lounge and Jeel on reception. Both these members of staff made our stay at this hotel and even more exceptional.

We stayed at the MARRIOTT Sahar for 2 nights 25-27 July and had a fabulous experience due the care and attention to detail that we received. We were cordially greeted by Lydia and her team in Guest Relations and were made to feel totally at ease! We can’t thank her enough for making our stay so memorable. Rujay in concierge remembered us from our previous travels and also made us feel at home. The breakfast selection is so huge and worth including - as we didn’t need lunch! Dear JW Marriott Mumbai Management, This feedback concerns my recent stay at your hotel with my family, which was shockingly unacceptable. We had high expectations for a Marriott property, but our stay was marred by several significant issues that we wouldn't expect even from a 1-star hotel: * Cleanliness: The most concerning issue was the complete lack of cleanliness in our room. The bedsheets and pillowcases had noticeable stains, indicating they were not properly cleaned. The bathtub had hair and dirt, and the washrooms were generally dirty with uncleaned floors. This is simply unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that carries the JW Marriott name. * Breakfast Experience: The breakfast service was equally frustrating. My family was not allowed to sit together and was asked to move to another area. After relocating, we were sent back to our original location and then made to wait an unreasonably long time to be seated. This lack of organization and poor communication created unnecessary inconvenience and spoiled our breakfast experience. These issues significantly impacted our stay and fell far short of the standards we expect from a JW Marriott hotel. We are very dissatisfied with the lack of basic hygiene and the subpar service we received. We hope this feedback will be taken seriously and prompt immediate action to address these shortcomings. We expect a certain level of quality and service from a Marriott brand hotel, and our recent stay was a complete departure from that expectation.

JW Marriott does not live up to its reputation of customer centricity. Out of the 4 nights that I am staying here for, first 2 nights room service took 30-40 min to simply deliver plates/cutlery after multiple reminders. 3rd night was slightly better as I ordered personally in the JW cafe with the chef and requested to send the food quickly. The food was great as it had the personal touch. However, I feel the hotel doesn’t value the business travellers much to the extent of even declining my one time request of adding the points to my Marriott Bonvoy membership citing the booking is done through Expedia which is true as my travel team must have goofed up there. The best thing about the hotel was the housekeeping guy Santosh who was always pleasant and ready to go beyond his duties to deliver a delightful customer experience. He reminded me of Taj level service standards which unfortunately other staff members lack either due to lack of training or in general Marriott properties do not train their employees better. I have similar disappointing experience with JW Marriott Bangalore last month. Doesn’t feel Like a 5 star hotel but at the best an overrated 3 star experience here.

We have a terrible experience at J W Sahar which we never had a thought that room they are allotting was not cleaned and prepared . We were very much disappointed for this type of services from a five star property . Used plates were placed outside of room. When we informed reception regarding this after 2-3 hour they remove plates .

I booked this place primarily because of its location and the trust I have in the Marriott brand, which use frequently in various locations. While the staff was accommodating, my breakfast experience was extremely disappointing. We were directed to a ballroom where the setup was poorly organized—dirty spoons, delayed service, and a lack of attention despite there being only two families present. It took 15-20 minutes to get any assistance, and the entire experience felt chaotic and unprofessional.
After providing my feedback, I noticed an overwhelming response from the staff, which I felt uncomfortable. I’m not sure if they thought I was seeking compensation, but that was not the case. When you stay at a Marriott property, you expect a certain level of quality and service, which, unfortunately, was not delivered during this visit. Overall, it was not a good experience

This was our second time staying at the JW Marriott Sahar and once again we had an amazing stay. Before we arrived we were able to reach out to Rupal who made sure everything was set up for when we arrived and really reassured us around the arrangements we had made before and during our stay.
Everything from the minute we were picked up from the airport to the point we left, was amazing. Check in was quick and easy and our room was ready which was greatly appreciated. Rupal, Lydia and all the reception team, it was lovely to bump into them throughout our stay and have little chats.
The room was clean and the housekeepers were great in leaving little towel animals and swiftly responding to our requests. Thank you to Santosh and Abishek Whilst the rooms are beginning to become a bit dated, the reason we come back and will most likely continue to return is the staff. The service is nothing like I’ve experienced elsewhere and all the staff we came across were lovely and made such a huge effort with us and our little toddler.
We pretty much dined at JW cafe throughout our stay and everyone meal we had here throughout our 6 days stay we could not fault. The chefs made and extra effort to make sure our toddler was catered for. One day when I was on my own at breakfast Ms Roy was even cleaning up the baby because she saw he was getting frustrated, I was so grateful! Even when I was unwell one day Sakshee and Rima really took care of me and made sure I was well. All the staff here, including Keshob, Shohaib, Monalisa, Om, Kizer, Suraj, Shruti, Vimal, Mehana and everyone here made sure we were looked after and even though it was so busy it felt so lovely that everyone made an effort to spend time with us and go above and beyond what we would expect.
When we were checking out Mukesh made sure all our bags were taken care of and that the car was ready to take us even though his shift had finished.
We really enjoy our time at JW Marriott Sahar and we really hope to return in the future.

Hi I have been a member of JW Marriott and have been staying since the last 8 years but my stay on Saturday the 15th of June was very disappointing from the room service and the basic requirements needed in the room. Never expected from a 5 star graded hotel like JW Marriott Sahar . It really put me back whether to renew my membership in the future. also i and my husband had recommended many couples to become members. Pls request the management to review their policies regarding the room services and the services given to the clients.

I stayed at JW from December 2nd to 14th. As always the stay was very pleasant. I am always amazed by the staff at JW as they never fail to go and beyond in serving the guests. Mr.Suraj , who was in charge of house keeping for my room was extremely sweet and ensured that all my requirements were taken care of and meticulously kept the room clean at all times. Loved his towel arts that he did on a daily basis and looked forward to see what he had done when I came back to the room everyday. Also , a big shoutout to the chef, Ms.Roy. She is always engaging with all guests during breakfast and ensures that any special requests are taken care of. Her pleasant and friendly demeanor makes you feel so welcomed every morning.
As always the staff and the entire experience makes me feel at home as much as possible, when I am away from home.
