I chose the largest room they offer and it was still smaller than I expected. Apart from that, this was nice for a one night stay. The breakfast the next morning was also small in terms of choices, but filling.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Sutra (9 days/8 nights) and already look forward to my next visit. The entire staff is fantastic - from the doormen, to the front desk and housekeeping - I felt very taken care of during my entire stay. Mudassar was able to check me into a room sooner than expected, which allowed me to go on with my day. I am vegan and Sufail and the team at the Out of the Blue Cafe downstairs from the hotel were able to accommodate my requests, including multiple Masala chais with almond milk during breakfast. Housekeeping also brings you a surprise snack or treat every evening, which was a pleasure to receive at the end of the day. I was flying to Delhi for work one evening and the staff kindly let me keep my check-in size luggage with the hotel until I returned the following evening. This isn’t my first time in Mumbai, but as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe at the hotel, and my room was such a haven after long days of work and exploration. Le Sutra is about 20 minutes from the airport and is near various restaurants and shopping. I had no problem walking around or getting an auto as needed. I highly recommend Le Sutra and will gladly stay there again the next time I am in Mumbai.…

Ahotel that cannot provide basics. Let me start by saying I hate to write negative reviews but occasionally they raw unavoidable. I had booked 2 rooms sat the hotel and regretted this the moment I stepped into the hotel. Day 1: They assigned us 2 rooms on the end floor. My room was a disaster and reeked of cigarette smoke as soon as I entered. This is a non-smoking floor! I asked for the room to be changed and then the real problems started. There was no hot water in either room. We had to call and we're told they were working on the problem but we did not have hot water for showers. Unacceptable. After a long day of travel we wanted to go down to the restaurant and get a cup of coffee. The restaurant was open, the inside portion, but the out side was being humiliated. The fumes were unbearable, noth in the cafe and in the hotel. They never mentioned this to us when we booked. Completely unacceptable. Day 2: Hot water in room 1 fixed but still no not water in my room. I called again at 8AM, at 10 AM, at 12, at 3 PM, at 5 PM. NO HOT WATER WAS EVER AVAILABLE. At 6 PM they offered to change my room, yet again, but by this time it was too late. The restaurant was completely closed for fumigation. The hotel lobby and surroundings were unbearable with chemical odors. The included breakfast included room service, cold lattes, cold poha, and cold food. Remember they never informed us of this when we booked, and really they did not care as putting their clients at risk with chemicals and poor service seemed normal to them. Day 3: Still no hot water in my room. Breakfast had indeed opened and the staff were desultry and moody, maybe it was all the fumes from the previous days. I expect service with a smile, not to be treated like they are forced to come in to work in poor conditions. I have asked management for a refund, 1 night out of 4, which I think is reasonable. However, a week later there are promises made but no delivery again. This is a hotel that looks great on the outside, but suffers immensely from poor service, an unresponsive management team and cannot provide the basics of hotel services. I paid Rs. 15,000 per hight, and felt I was ripped off. I love small boutique hotel for their charm and feel as compared to larger chains. But this hotel fell short tremendously. I cannot recommend that anyone stay here, it is not worth it.…

Perfect Service, exceptional room and bathroom. Beautiful interior and highly attentive service. The outside is rather like 99% of the rest of Mumbai, in other words for a foreign traveller arriving straight from the airport it’s a bit of an “eye-opener. We normally stay in this hotel whenever we are in Mumbai with a family and it's always a pleasure to stay here. We have never been disappointed in terms of their services. This time we got the rooms which were larger compared to other rooms and were really happy to be here. I shall highly recommend this place and choose room number 202 or 206 for your comfort although all their rooms are nicely furnished but sizes differ.

Our first night at the hotel was ruined by the restaurant next door holding a club night something they do, we discovered every Thursday. The hotel were aware of it but did not let us know. The music went on until 3:00am- the hotel told us it would stop at 01:30. To make matters worse it was our first night in India after a nine hour flight from the UK. The second night was also disrupted by a private party being held in the hotel which went on until just after midnight. When we were checking out I asked if perhaps the hotel could as a gesture take a couple of drinks we had had off the bill, I was told the manager was not prepared to do this. Disappointing. Aside from this, the staff were great. Be aware the rooms are small.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Small enough to be unique but big enough to provide top level service. Stunning room with high quality furnishings. Attentive staff who were always helpful and polite. Clean and quirky little touches in the room. Including a fridge!! Highly recommend

I have always found Le Sutra a sophisticated hotel, extremely clean, I mention particularly clean because maybe I am a cleanliness freak, and well designed and decorated. When I visited it first time, my reaction was that I will like to stay only in Le Sutra in future. Very cooperative and well behaved staff adds further value for money. Their restaurants are well known in Mumbai already for great foods and ambience. I would say staying at Le Sutra so many times now has made it more attractive to stay in future as well.
