The room was clean and neat. Amenities included water, a heater, Wi-Fi, a TV, and a canteen. However, I couldn't watch any Tamil-language programs on TV as only Hindi channels were subscribed.
During check-in, they provided a transparent, paper-based Terms and Conditions document, which is a good practice.
While breakfast was available for an additional charge, the selection was quite limited. The canteen is located on the 3rd floor, and there's no elevator. I was also unsure how to access the complimentary breakfast included in my room booking.
The hotel's main road location made it easy to get Ubers or Rapidos. However, cab drivers waiting in front charged exorbitant prices and weren't helpful with directions.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, greeting guests whenever they saw them. The overall atmosphere was very positive.
The hotel's location is also convenient for commuting around the city. Within a 5km radius, you can reach Nariman Point, the Gateway of India, and CSMT railway station.
No lift; had to climb stairs. No kettle in the room to prepare hot water for drinking. Normal drinking water was supplied and refilled. Ventilation is limited. Small size of room and bathroom didn't matter for the reasonable budget level of room rate.
Close to several tourist places and important temples. Taxis are available all the time right near the entrance of the hotel which is close to the road. 10 minutes walk from Grant Road station on the Churchgate-Virar local railway line. Local bus stops are close by too. Restaurants are within walking distance (including few pure vegetarian ones like Pejas); the hotel itself has room service of veg and non-veg food (didn't try though).
Overall recommended.
The air conditioning works well.
The restaurant is cheap and delicious.
Room service is also available.
If you drop off your laundry in the morning, it will be returned ironed in the evening, which is convenient. (30 rupees per piece)
The location is also good. Two train stations are just a short walk away.
Sightseeing spots are easily accessible.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
There is no hot water in the shower.
The only amenities provided are bar soap.
No toilet paper.
No refrigerator.

The staff were super friendly and available to offer advice to local markets, getting trains, and going to sightseeing locations. Paresh and Amol, the day managers were great to talk to and give us really good advice on taxi fares across the city.
My wife and I had also just got married in Satara and we were assigned a twin room but on request we were changed into a double room. The rooms are quite small compared to other cities and areas we have stayed in. (For info there is no lift so this hotel is not accessibility friendly)
I do have two pieces of constructive reflectivness to pass onto the hotel management as possible improvements to guests stay.
1) The hotel looks great, the bathroom in our room was great but the walls in our room (101) would really benefit from having a fresh coat of paint as it looked pretty kid and dirty.
2) you have a lovely roof terrace but it would be good to have a selection of tables and chairs on the terrace for morning coffee/breakfast.. Was a bit disappointed we were not allowed to take chairs and tables from the restaurant.
Despite these 2 points I would stay here again for the location and the service.
Overall experience is very good.
The place is far from shiny 5-star hotel, but for its price, it's a great deal, probably the best in all of Mumbai.
The receptionists also help you with taxi and stuff, which really helps you to stay away from those individuals who would make you spend more money than you had planned to.
The roomservice food is nice and its price is just a little higher than streetfood's, which makes it really competitive.

The service was the worst. One day I woke up sick, and they refused to serve me plain rice, because it was “breakfast time”, only toast they said and I had the rice in front of me. Another night, they reject us to take dinner at his restaurant because from 20:00 to 21:00 is reserved for staff, an only provide room service (It was at 20:30). Last day, we called at 21:05 to request some dinner and they told us that kitchen was closed at 21:00 ( just 5 minutes and the hotel empty).
To add more things, service workers opened room door without knocking before, really disgusting.
Receptionists were extremely rude, even without saying good bye at the departure of our stay. Specially the girl, they treath us in a rude way in our welcome, always making us feel unconfortable. Avoid if you are turist, price is not worth it and seemed that we were bothering them with our presence.
I did not find any decent restaurant near by although they will bring food for u on order. There is no balcony bt terrace is there. They allow you to put luggage after checkout.
