For the location there is nothing to say therefore it is loud. Me and my friend slept like babies without ear plugs. What you have to imagine is; You are in the middle of the city, the people, the cars, the buses, the horns.
The location could not have been better. It is just a stone throw away from the Gateway of India and around the corner of Leopold Cafe, but the hotel itself is located in a relatively quiet street. The interior of the hotel is very stylish...More

It’s the tourist central of the city with a liberal dose of rich history, iconic eating and drinking joints and artistic connections that have found prominent mentions in Gregory David Roberts’ Shantaram. Stroll down Colaba Causeway for kitschy street shopping bargains. Take a break at the many
laid-back legendary bars & restaurants like Cafe Mondegar or Leopold Café. The vibrant vibe of Colaba is incomplete without the buzz at Mumbai’s most iconic tourist hub, Gateway of India & The Taj Mahal Hotel on the parallel lane. Sprinkled with designer boutiques, quaint cafes with rooftop sea view, the promenade is a popular route to go to Elephanta Caves & Alibaug.
