We have been staying at Portico almost every year for the last five years when we visit Mumbai. Their staff in reception (including Mr Singh) , restaurant (sorry I have forgotten the names), room cleaning service (including Shalini) and the senior management (Ifteqarbhai and his colleagues) have been excellent and very accommodating to our needs. Being Vegans, it is the only hotel where we are provided Soya milk and vegan dishes on request.
Last October/November we stayed there with some of our extended family members from London, who were really surprised by spacious rooms, quality of cleanliness, hospitality and service received during few days of our stay.
I would highly recommend Sarovar Portico in Goregoan to any foreigners visiting Mumbai for guaranteed satisfaction

Stayed 4 nights at the hotel. Staff is very polite. They serve good food we had breakfast continental and Indian. Very near to Airport, train, exhibition centre and shopping malls. Housekeeping is very good. Girl named Shalini make sure that our room is cleaned and bed linen and towels replaced every day when we come back after our day schedules. Overall very good service.

I stayed at this hotel during my recent visit to Mumbai in the month of Feb 2020. Hotel booking was done through Agoda with specific instructions for check-in time along with non smoking room and thanks to the front desk, they completed process within 2 minutes by allocating a non smoking room.
Staff was really helpful and cheery all the time. Specially, Mr Singh who is part of both front door and room service team is always handy for any information for surroundings or even ordering anything from outside.
Only issue with the hotel is room size which is too small. But it's understandable for a city like Mumbai and that too in Goregaon West.

The hotel has taken every effort to make our stay a pleasant one. As one enters you are greeted very cordially by the gracious Front Desk Staff. In Room Dining churn out tasty n yummy food n snacks which reaches the room fresh and hot, neatly packed without any delay. The house keeping staff diligently working to keep our suite spic and span. A special mention for Tabassum, Naresh & Sandesh. We would highly recommend this hotel to all who are looking for a comfortable & enjoyable stay.

thanks to the front desk folks for amazing service in this difficult times . Special mention to Satish Tiwari and his team for providing me a candle light setup within my room for me and my wife.
After reopening the hotel requires minor maintenance of all rooms. But the staff is quick at servicing them.

This is my 4 time at this Gem of a place..The staff are wonderful hardworking and very dedicated to their work , they treat you like a king you feel very spoilt there is always a smile on their faces and whatever you ask you will never get a negative response from them ..lLet me start by naming a few of the staff at the front desk there was Shubhankar. Deepak and lastly Pooja she is very nice and polite one day I had injury to my hand she personally dropped off my Pizza from the front desk to my room thats going above and beyond ..Now kets go the breakfast section which is the best you will get at any hotel its fresh and hot they even take orders for any egg selection you prefer including Dosas ect ..here was always greeted by Benjamin who takes good care of all dining customers …and lastly without these hard working staff no hotel and function they are the house keeping staff special thanks to my floor team Diiksa is tiny buy works very hard ..than Suhaas was very good ..Tabassum was very polite and helped you in whatever you needed ..and lastly Dhanishree she was very efficient , hardworking always stocked my room with bath essentials , water bottles and made sure my room was spick and span and smelled fresh ….thank you all if I missed anyone will be coming back soon and would recommend this 5 star experience who want to book a good room amazing breakfast and the best staff in all of Mumbai !!!!
