The location is decent, and so is the price, but you will definitely get better places for the same price. The rooms are located in different buildings, very few rooms are good and worth the price justified. The bigger rooms in the main building are grand and British-like. But it is very hard to avail this room.

Loved the place. Humble people and helpful too. I think this place is really good option as BnB. Stay was really comfortable. Just one thing that takes it backstep is it doesnt have connected or in-room washrooms. You get the designated personal washroom though. Pretty Big Rooms, 4 people can easily accomodate in one room with good number of luggage....

First up, there are multiple buildings which have rooms. We were in a room in the building across the street from the main reception. More like a service apartment. No real issues with the room for that price and location. However. My husband and I were staying together and we were asked to furnish our IDs. No problem so far....

Dear Madam, You are quite correct in stating it is none of our business, however it is a requirement from the Police hence we have no option but to follow the directive. This seems to be a major issue with many of our guests, but we have absolutely no option but to follow the directive of the police.

Bentley’s has a great location just a 5 minute walk from the Gateway of India and the Taj Hotel with lots of restaurants and a few bars nearby. We stayed in a double room with a/c and for Mumbai the price was reasonable. The staff at Bentley’s pretty much leave you to your own devices and there is not much...

This is more a guesthouse than a hotel. Rooms are reasonably sized but attached baths are not well done. The ground floor room assigned to us does not have a light over mirror in bathroom, making shaving a difficult exercise. Breakfast is meagre consis-ng of only sliced breads with butter+jam plus tea/coffee. There is no electric kettle, so one has...

Dear Sir, We have noted your request for the bathroom mirror light. Sorry you were not informed that each floor has a small kitchenette with the Electric kettle etc for the customers use.

I highly recommend the location of this place, very near to India Gate, moments to Colaba Causeway market and everything you can wish to see, yet on a very quiet homely street. Rooms are not fantastic, but prices are cheap for Mumbai, which is the most expensive place I've stayed in India. I recommend turning up, rather than booking online...

This is less of a hotel & more of a vintage restored guest house with limited house keeping and room service but excellent location in Colaba, away from the hustle & bustle tucked in a nice tree lined lane just behind the main road and 1 min walking distance from the Gateway of India.

Bentley's is an inexpensive and comfortable hotel. But the welcome we received there was anything but a welcome. My husband of over six years and I booked a room in this hotel after reading the largely positive reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrived at the hotel and were asked for an id. My husband gave the receptionist his. The guy...

It is unfortunate that the customer was unable to stay with us but we have no option but to follow all rules set by the local Police. However it has to be pointed out that we did request the customer to even send us after checking in any proof by email such as a marriage certificate or any marriage photo...

Since arriving in India in Feb 2016, I have stayed at Bentley's Hotel each time I was in Mumbai - 3 times altogether. Every time I stayed the service was great, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and have everything you need. Plus, the service is excellent and very helpful when it comes to booking transport to and from the...

Dear Madam, Thank you for your kind review and your repeatedly staying with us. We are most happy that you have pointed out that our Henry Road annexe review in Lonely planet is outdated now by over a decade. This annexe was started by us with very limited rooms for customers requiring rooms on a low budget. This will help...

Bentley's is a basic hotel and a good place to base yourself in Colaba if you want to keep accommodation expenses as low as possible (we paid around 2000 rupees a night). Don't expect anything more than a bed and bathroom, but the sheets were clean, the place felt safe and there was wifi. I did have an enormous cockroach...
