We have so far been in 14 hotels during our 30 day tour & this bathroom, whilst clean was by far the smallest.
Our bedroom and the public areas were extremely clean and well kept. Big ,comfortable bed, decent safe, toiletries, tv with BBC news and English language films.
Breakfast is fine - you can order eggs, pancakes, toast and more.
We did have to move rooms because of work being done to an adjacent room, but this was very smoothly done by the staff. They were allvery helpful and friendly.
I was disappointed that the Havana Bar was shut - would have liked a place to drink on site. And the rooftop patio could have been a brilliant place to chill, but seemed to be used for storage. These are my only quibbles- I would definitely stay here again when in Mumbai.

It is well maintained and is an ideal place for business travelers and tourists alike.
Service was prompt and staff was helpful.
The rooms were of a decent size though they looked a bit jaded.
There was a Pan Asian restaurant at the ground floor that also served a buffet breakfast.
There is also a night club on the first floor which can be noisy for those occupying rooms directly above. Therefore, it is a wise idea to avoid Room Nos 209 and 210.
If visitors want to stay near the Gateway of India, this is the best option.
But while the stay itself was lovely, the finance and accounting department has been quite the opposite. The room rate was debited from my account twice, and after following up for many weeks I was told it was my bank/my fault, as it was credited only once. As proof the bank needed a copy of the statement which the hotel refused to share. Also, understandable, but when I had to ask them to share some proof that it was credited only once, I was told to wait another 5 business days, after waiting 35 business days. Only when I marked the bank authorities on the email, did the hotel suddenly realise that indeed the payment had been made twice.
This experience has really marred what was otherwise a wonderful stay at the quaint hotel. I'd still recommend the place for it's convenience, comfort and for the front desk team.
