Such a Sh*t way to leave in a sour note at this hotel. In-directly been told to leave the place and not welcome anymore. I have been a long stay guest at this hotel – stayed 3 times at this place. Effectively almost 5+ months in 1 year. It was very low for the Sujith, Rajen, and Chetan Mehta – to treat long term guest. No sense of loyalty nor to communicate with the guest and to be honest and showing the trust. I have the proof – of exchange of what’s app messages… so happy to share to show… of my exchanges with Sujith and ignorance… my first stay back in April 22 for just over 3 months – beginning was not so pleasant but things were ironed out… and the typical fake smile (which is now come to it) and being courteous that having been long term guest and building on that to stay further stays in future. On 2nd visit – no issues and it was pleasant stay.. This being 3rd and final – visit – Dec’22 to Jan 23 – At the beginning all was well but things turned sour – when 2nd meeting with Sujith discussing about the rooms and discussing on rates giving it will be long stay… on what’s app I did mention what I had out down and he tells me that yes will do something and give time but will sort it out.. .no response and not even picking up phone to say what he is doing or done on the rate. When you message him to say want to have a talk – he’s response is will talk soon and revert but never hear from him… When you bump into him – promises will speak later bit busy and given the benefit of doubt.. and trusting he will make a conversation considering that there was a relationship with the hotel/guest…. I was totally deluded…. No such thing exist. Yes, Sujith has boasted of relationships with many many…. There is no specific guest relation manager…. Whoever does sales are responsible… I guess. At time of check in – no details or payment was taken as there was trust and have been moving different rooms in between stay since there had been fully booked. From past stays to the current stay – I have always kept making payments even without being asked there is a payment due.. Whilst waiting to discuss on rate and even the response came via what’s app – I had said I wanted to have a chat.. given that he cannot do anything on rate but wanted to discuss something as it is always good to talk and keep conversation going not just about the rate but rather I would say to create like a corp rate since I would have been coming regular. But this was no avail as being avoided… If you are senior person he had no guts to make conversation or even call. One of the day (Saturday) morning I had asked Ramanathan to tell me what is outstanding balance (as previously I had excel they prepare on charges room plus extras) and to give me an update I was told give some time later in the day will provide me details. No such thing. That evening while having dinner at the restaurant – my wife had told that Rajen is looking for me and has to do with outstanding balance. I went to see him and he advises me that Sujith has sent a message that rate is given best and cannot go lower and there is an outstanding balance which must be paid now… How pathetic is this… . I have been asking to give me the breakdowns and what is balance and what is due they don’t revert. Response I got from Rajen was that it is was accounts team chasing which in fact was not true it was Sujith who had told Rajen to collect payment as he thinks I am going to runaway or not pay at all. Rajen said he trust but it is accounts – so my question was if you trust and you know that I do pay and being regular guest that had never had issues of not paying then you can say to the accounts that he settles. – this was a total lie from Rajen…. This was initiated by Sujith… Someone who believe and trust and would not honour such way to for him to think like that. Such a disgusting way…. They have behaved over the last days… I also know that it is responsible of sales person to ensure the payments by guest are done not the accounts team. The owner, Chetan Mehta was at the property, I had asked him if I could have a 5 mins… he said yes… he was with Sujith and obviously he briefed him…. And they were hell bent that it was just about room rate reduction… When one ask to speak you should hear the person out what it is about and if you value guest that stay – speak to them… It was clear adamant that he hates talking to guests (well I guess to me only). In that 30 seconds – I told him it was not about the rate it was more about the courtesy to call back when one is looking to talk and not just ignore and have a junior to deal. I had also said to him that if he had called and at least say cant meet but can talk for a bit I would have said to discuss of long term agreement as I am going to be regular. His response was ‘I will talk to him’ – well if he did, Sujith certainly didn’t bother to communicate.. Another thing he said was it pressure from GM to Sujith when there was no such thing… When I had met with GM no indication of such was given. Why make such excuse – answer being leave me alone I am not interested in your issues… and of course not want to say in your face…. ‘get out of my hotel not welcome’ – yes I got the message from Chetan Mehta and Sujith. I will not enter your premises anymore… I am not going to name names, I got to know that it was Sujith who had told Rajen that he doesn’t give a damn about the relationship and told junior staff to handle. Before all this occurred, grateful what they have done to accommodate and the requirements of my father who is terminally ill… Lastly,, took ages to prepare invoices with correct name and address but still got it wrong…. When I checked out.…
Really a great location to be with a large group. The apartments are well-equipped and spacious to host large groups. The restaurant is ver good too, though strictly vegetarian . The team led by Sujit went all out to make our experience memorable
The apartment is comfortable and the owner Mr.Selvaraj with his son MsMani, were very helpful. But there are major shortcomings which offset the plus points. (1)Toiletry and towels are not replenished every day (2)No housekeeping person to clean the house (3)The kitchen is not full fledged.Heard that the owner had lost a few utensils after the occupancy by a few groups . Unless they have a full-time caretaker this may not invite new occupants for sure as it lacks that professional touch. .Thanks to MrSelvaraj once again

Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. The Rooms was very good with comfortable furniture and the bed was comfortable too. We would definitely stay here again. It was a good stay! The food was excellent and the staff superb Specially Vaishali & Manthan handled and helped us with grace, charm and professionalism. hotel taking exta care in this pandamic proper trained staff about the current situation. Following all the guidelines and taking all precautions to make sure your safe with proper hygiene. Highly recommended!
Very very very disappointed by the way this hotel has treated me and my family. It took 3.5 hours for Senior Sales manager Vaishali Makwana to negotiate a rate. The booking we wanted to make was for today itself for one month (which was urgent and well explained to her in detail). Agreeing upon the rate after 3.5 hours of discussion (after me chasing her every 45mins and calling timeline to confirm) and time to leave for the hotel, Hotel management and front desk says there are no rooms available now!!! In this pandemic situation where we all should be helping n supporting each other, this hotel made us stranded and left with no choice but to go somewhere else. What a lame excuse given that someone booked online right now. Just because we dealt with Vaishali (senior person in sales, who also mentioned that front desk is not aware of room availability) verbally and finalized the rate the hotel on the phone. Still there was nothing done by her or the hotel management for this entire mess and compensation. Guys please take care for future since there was absolutely no professionalism and coordination with the room availability and complete mismanagement.…
The Emerald is the place to be, and you will feel it right from the time you see Narayan's smile and all the way up to the 2 ladies and other gents at the front desk and then Manthan and the Managers. They even stored my excess baggage for 3 days at no cost when I went to Goa in-between my Mumbai trip. Very courteous, patient and knowledgeable staff who quickly became my friends. The staff at the Emerald fall over each other to fulfill your every request. They have a wonderful breakfast spread. All amenities and attractions (the iconic Juhu Beach) and transportation is at the front door. The hotel rooms are comfy and spacious. Choose any room! Staying at The Emerald was like choosing to stay at home, but with extra comforts. Please experience this, fellow travelers.
Stayed here while visiting Mumbai on our travels. Room decor is a bit tired and the bathroom drainage needed a bit of attention to get it to drain properly. However it was perfectly adequate for what we needed and for how much time we actually spent in there. Bar area very nice with attentive staff, didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that but we had the breakfast buffet and it was plentiful with a good choice and very tasty. Just a stones throw from Juhu beach for a sunset or sunrise walk so location is good for accessing the sights of Mumbai, but start early to beat the horrendous traffic!
The hotel is near to the juhu beach. Location is excellent. Surrounded by big hotels in a stone throw. Hotel rooms are small, but has a small sitout facility with a divani. Rooms are clean. Door for bedroom alone and washroom in the sitout attachment. So it can be used by both the dwellers. Ac is good. Wifi is also good. Breakfast is not great, with something to eat alone. Not refreshing for a breakfast. Food is vegetarian alone. They will take orders fot non-veg, but get it from nearby hotels.
We stayed as part of a wedding function guest and were given room 606, which I’m afraid was very dilapidated, uncomfortable and below the standard expected. The bathroom is very poor with mould, drainage issues and a shower that needs to be de-limescale. The bed was horrendous and was bitten over my arms and back so you can imagine our health concerns as knew this wasn’t mosquitoes! The staff though are very friendly as are the breakfast team. But honestly, the management have obviously put profit before comfort and given the standards of other nearby boutique hotels like The Park, Soho House, Sea Princess etc, this hotel will require substantial renovation to raise its profile on the magnificent and trendy Juhu stretch.
