I am writing this review after experiencing the worst experience at The ROA Hotel, Ghatkopar, Mumbai. Rooms were ok, not good not bad. Worst food, worst taste & worst hospitality. An example that you should not trust these type of Hotels online at all. During my stay they served Aloo Prantha with a *HUGE STAPLER PIN* risking my life in breakfast and next day found hair in my Sambhar Idli. I complained about the food but no strict action was taken by the management rather the steward taunted me that 'Sir you complained of me at the reception'! I write a short mail to hotel mgmt. about this incident, but not even a single response I got from any person from the hotel. That was the least expected. The attitude of the Management towards the problem was inappropriate. In the Interest of Public at large, I would recommend everyone to take a note of the same and try to avoid such type of hotel..…
The hotel is just completely unprofessional and not fit for anyone even traveling for leisure or business. The rooms are shabby, bed sheets are with burnt marks, the toilet hardware doesn't work properly. I visited this hotel as it is close to my office in Vikhroli, but this turned out to be my biggest mistake in life. Issues i faced that the staff denied to solve at all: 1. They served me one day old food in breakfast and never responded to my complaint. At this time of health crisis, they are playing with guest health. NOT SUITABLE for family at all... 2. They charged me for wifi and it dosen't work at all - speed of less than 1 MBPs (impacted my business calls) 3. for one room service, they take atleast 1 hours of luxury wait time. For a simple request of warming up my food, they kept me waiting for 2 hours. 4. Room is not cleaned until i shout on it 5. The receptionist on the night shift is always sleeping on the shift and does not pick up the call at multiple occasions…
The stay Roa Hotel was very disappointing. The facility lacks a 3 star status. The rooms are flimsy and so are the furniture. Dare not open the curtains as you will get a filthy view. A bit of advise that never book a cab through hotel as they will charge you at least 5-6 times the actual OLA charges.
It is situated nearly 5km from Mumbai's inter national airport and 500 meters from Ghatkpar rly Stanton and metro station. Good stay for mid budget, clean rooms, polite staff.Good for business conference meet.
I had a meeting at 12. These guys refused to give me the room at all just 1 hour before. Tried to charge me 1700 RS for the checkin. Pls beware of this hotel and Mr Anant ok the front desk. Very customer unfriendly.
Me and my fiancé were celebrating my birthday in the hotel room. It took them 1 hour to rectify their air conditioning which was not working. Even after calling 20 times they turned up after an hour. Plates were chipped when they bought food. We were celebrating birthday so we had roses on the bed with the cake , there were stains on bedsheet ofrose petals and we were told that the stains will not go. Like how can stains of rose petals cannot go. The two executives at reception charged us Rs. 1150 for the stains which could be removed by a proper laundry. And even if they are asking for fine , no reciept or bill was given to us. Are u a fraud? If there is anyone looking into this kindly take a strict action against them for charging me needlessly.
The Roa is well located to suit work travel specially for the areas of Ghatkoper and Vikhroli. The property has been renovated since my last visit and the musty smell from the rooms is gone. The room is still nice and spacious. Lighting in the room and bathroom seems a bit limited. Room was clean and the bed was also clean and comfortable. Nothing else to write about in terms of amenities and facilities. The staff is quite courteous however service was a bit short this time as needed multiple calls to get something as simple as water. Breakfast is still limited with eggs and a few vegetarian items on offer. The restaurant seems to be quite empty in the evening with very few walk-ins, if any. The place remains good for an overnight stay, specially if one can book at a low price.
Visited roa hotel for relaxation , it was a nice stay , rooms were cozy , but lil cleanliness was required , services were good , best was the breakfast , but bathrooms were stinky , water was chargeable , I dunno y but overall nice stay
This is an option when you have business in Vashi, Ghansoli, Airoli, Koparkhairne. The rooms are spacious, the toilets are clean, the internet is ok, mobile coverage is adequate. Their in-house restaurant has limited menu. The breakfast is inadequate and service is lacking. Lots of dining options in the immediate vicinity (all Indian). Like I said. It’s an option when you don’t have anything else available. For a nice Indian breakfast go next door to Radha Krishna restaurant.
Overall a very pleasant experience.Clean nice and spacious rooms. They serve some really good.Staff is very courteous and very helpful.Check in Check Out process was also very smooth. The location was very convenient as it is very close to the malls.Shall surely visit again.
