Close to airport with a welcoming front desk. Rooms need sprucing
and bathroom fixtures are stained and coming apart. For me that was not a deal breaker since I used the hotel only to shower and sleep at night. Would
be noisy for most wanting to sleep late. BUT, this positive fact should stand out--- I left behind over 15,000 Rs in my haste. While on the plane got a call and was notified of
that. Got a friend to retrieve it for me. Thanks to everyone involved in the hotel for their honesty.

This hotel is right next to a metro station.. so close that i opened my room (102) curtain and people in the station can see my bed. An average hotel in terms of service, very average breakfast.. rooms are OK but traffic scene is very BAD.

Even at midnight or 1 AM u will hear cars / bikes running all around. I had to choose it as it was right next door to my business meetings.

If you order FOOD, they will get it from Swiggy even with their own kitchen in place for breakfast.

This is a new property that is situated right on the Andheri Kurla Road and next to the WEH metro gate. The rooms and interiors are very nicely done and look spick and span. They serve buffet breakfast just near the entrance and the platter is consists of usual items. I guess they don't have in house restaurant nor laundry. The parking space is very limited.

Booked since I wanted a clean n cheap hotel in Andheri to sleep and was going to be out 15+ hours in the day.
Location: Good in terms of connectivity but scary if you are a single female traveller as it is right next to a super busy and shady bar. So if you reach here in the night, your cab will be surrounded by men trying to sell you alcohol.

Room: The rooms are very small even by Mumbai standards but are very clean (which borderline makes up for the room being small if you are staying alone). Do not expect a view or to even be able to crack open a window. Curtains and windows are seldom cleaned and are unhygienic.

Service: No restaurant hence breakfast is very limited and is served in the busy lobby right at the entrance which is very odd. The housekeeping staff is friendly and nice.

Reception Services: Very slow, do not expect to get your room quickly if you are tired after your travel and want to rest. The lady at the reception is rude for no reason, speaks in a condescending manner making you feel unwelcomed. I had an argument with her over hotel policies not being listed correctly on Google or MakeMyTrip.

If you are planning to have visitors (their policy of the visitors not staying over is completely fair), would suggest that you avoid. I was in town to meet friends and fell sick so wanted to still meet them but at my hotel room during the day. It was a nightmare to get them in. Everytime someone came to visit, reception asked them a billion questions, made them feel like they are doing something wrong visiting me, took a Xerox of photo ID proof of every individual (unnecessary). All of the above when they were visiting complying to the hotel policy of no visitors post 9 PM. Felt like a hostel with a warden instead of a hotel.

I will not stay with them again.

Response from prateek shetty, Owner at Hotel Metropole Inn
Responded 6 Jan 2022
Dear Mr Yashraj, We apologies that your stay at our hotel did not meet your expectation and will make sure that we work on the points that you have mentioned. We would like to highlight a few points as well. 1.The kettle which is kept in the room has a label which clearly mentions that the kettle has only been provided to heat the water also the tent card which is kept in every room also mentions the exact same words then too you ended up making coffee/Tea by adding the sachets provided by us directly in the kettle.Simple English words are not understood by the guests. This is the very reason that hotel property get damaged because the guest take the hotel property for granted and the kettle cannot be used again cause of such incidents. 2.If we provide a smoking room that means we would also provide an ashtray on request. As you have mentioned that you complained multiple times, you could have easily made an extra call to send up the ashtray to the room rather then doing that you used the plastic sachet holder to ash the cigarettes which ended up spoiling the holder,.These are basic etiquette's that we expect our guests to follow. The TV remote was on the room floor upon checkout. 3.For all the issues that you have created we ended up charging you Rs 330/- rather than the Rs 1300 that you have mentioned we can back it up with the invoice that we have generated against your stay. 4.If the guest does not like the service and the behavior of the staff it is the right of the guest to write a review and be vocal about it.But it is completely unacceptable if the guest is defaming the hotel by stating false facts and by putting false allegations. Thank you

This review may be unusual because this hotel literally gave me a safe and comfortable place to stay during the COVID lockdown. My company found it for me after I stayed briefly at two other hotels, both of which closed. They sent a driver for me at 10PM, just before the curfew, and brought me to my room. During the early days when no shops were open, they still managed a limited but delicious room service menu and breakfast.
It ended up being my home and office for 7 months during which I enjoyed a good night's sleep pretty much every night, delicious meals, and outstanding service. The wifi was also reliable enough for me to help run our company from my room.
The only possible downside for some might be that the view is the side of the Western Express Highway Metro Station. You won't get a view of the city. After some time they moved me from the 2nd floor to the 9th, where I could see over the top of the metro station and over the rooftops, with plenty of sunshine.
Most people won't be staying for months at a time, but I can tell you that you can have an extended stay here and be very comfortable.
The staff were always kind and helpful and friendly. On my birthday they gave me a card and a special dessert of kheer and on Diwali a box of sweets. Room service is fresh and delicious with a wide variety as is the breakfast buffet. Even after 7 months I wasn't tired of the food.
The room cleaning and sanitizing was meticulous and thorough. I always felt safe.
My company has decided to sign a long-term contract with the company that owns this hotel and also the Hotel Oriental Aster, where I also have stayed. It is great for extended stays by business travelers or short-term stops. It is close to the airport and they can pick you up or drop you off.
I may have an extra fondness for this hotel since they rescued me during the COVID lockdown, but that should be a sign to anyone that they go above and beyond in all respects when it comes to hospitality and care.

The most rude staff u will find in hospitality industry. They will not allow your guest to visit you in your room even when you offer to pay for double occp. What the hotel manager says “it’s my ego I will not allow your guest inside”

EGO word in hospitality you will find this a lot in this hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff both pleasant and helpful. The room was adequate and had a large comfy king size bed. Plenty of hot water and an okay breakfast. Made an ideal stopover between flights.
