The hotel is conveniently located, very near to Mumbai CST. Rooms are clean and room service is good. A little overpriced for a budget hotel, but is fine considering the good location. We had to climb around 2 floors which was a bit irritating. Don't know why lift wasn't available. Breakfast is average and its preferable if you have it in one of the nearby restaurants.

Hmmm this hotel is clean and in a pretty good location (close to the main train station, some good restaurants and not too far from colaba). However its extremely overpriced!! For 2000 rs we got a tiny room and shared bathroom, but the worst part was that the fan just didn't work (I mean it worked but not well). And having the windows open just wasn't an option as we were so close to the road. Their WiFi is awesome, although you have to pay for more than one device which is ridiculous. Mixed experience.

This hotel is well run, clean and conveniently located in the Fort area of Mumbai, a walking distance from the the museums and tourist attractions near the Gate of India.
Room service is swift and effective.
Inclusive breakfast (with several options from the menu) and afternoon tea.

good service, clean room and bathroom.....they provide mumbai darshan bus at cheapest rate...over all best and safe place to stay...The hotel offers not just a comfy environment to its guests but it also provides an easy access to the nearby places of attraction such as Chowpati, Marine drive, Hanging garden,Haji Ali Dargah, Nariman point, Gateway of India and many other which are at a decent distance from the hotel... 0.5km from mumbai central...

One word to describe this place...bizarre. Staff seemed to go out of their way to be unfriendly, particularly the receptionists. Any questions were met with a steely glare. I had a group of young staff camped outside my room play fighting and making comments to themselves every time i walked past. Aside from the people, the rooms were fine and clean. Thankfully i didn't have any stomach upsets, because i had to walk two minutes to reach the toilet/bathroom. I wouldnt recommend this place until the staff were sent on a long customer service course.

The Welcome Hotel is 2 minutes from the main Mumbai rail station (CST Victoria Terminus), and a 5 minute cab to Colaba. It's a great find, fitting in the gap between the expensive mammoths of the Taj / Intercontinental etc and the budget (awful) places.

Except of course you have to climb the first two stairs to reach the reception at the start, there is absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel. Very helpful. efficient and responsive staff. Clean ( As if others haven't told enough) and again very value for money. Given that Marine Drive, The Gateway of India, CST, Dalal St, Wankhede stadium everything is within 5-10 min reach, this is very much recommended.

This hotel is very much near to CST & GPO. Fulfills basic stay needs. No restaurant facility but staff can arrange parcel food from nearby. Rooms are neat and clean, available as per your pocket size. 2-4 days business trip can definitely work well.

Its a budget hotel with shared bathrooms. However the bathrooms were absolutely clean and tidy. Rooms size are just okay (keeping in mind standard hotel size in Mumbai). The breakfast is complimentary but you will not find a great variety rather 2-3 options were available.
The staff is just okay at times you will find it difficult to see smiles on their face. The best thing about this property is its proximity to CST station which makes your stay and travel around Mumbai comfortable.
You will find many eating joints / restaurants suited to different budgets nearby this property.
Not a great place to stay with family but good for solo travelers.
