Spacious rooms, location is good, View from the room is fantastic. Not at all like a hotel, mixed up with School & College. Very poor breakfast; same on both the days (Upma). Hot water is available only in the morning hours.

Kohinoor is not even a Hotel. It was a room in the catering college. Do avoid at any costs as they don't have any experience of running hotel. No staff, no reception, shanty toilets and really nothing. Rooms were smelly and dirty. Do avoid at any costs.

You can't even call this property a hotel! It IS NOT a hotel, and wasn't ever oner for all I know. When my Dad called the Hotel to get their address, they wouldn't give it to him. It took us two hours to locate the property. And guess what, we weren't even surprised when they said they didn't have any rooms available because their "'Hotel'" was under renovation. In short, I just wanna say, do not ever book this property. Ever. EVER.

To begin with this is not a hotel, instead part of a catering college and the top floor of a marriage hall which is actually rooms for wedding party to stay in - moonlighting as a hotel. Our Check in was delayed by 7 hours. Upon checking the reason for delay, the lady/ hostess didn't offer an explanation, even when we told her that its a group of three women and one girl aged 12, she was extremely rude, said that I can't do anything, will let you know when the rooms are ready and disconnected the call. This for a confirmed booking and card blocked for payment. Several calls from 2 pm to 7 pm were unanswered and disconnected. Finally around 7.15 pm she answered and said that one room will be available at 8.30 pm and the next will be ready by 2330. With nowhere else to go, we checked in at around 8.45, there was not even a chair at the makeshift counter/reception for us to sit and wait for the long check in process. The room provided had torn quilt/bed cover, there were hair on the bed, toilet wouldn't flush and cockroaches were plentiful. The flush was repaired after an hour, until then we were made to wait without any alternative arrangement. We managed in the room until midnight when the other one was provided. The manager Santhosh was apologetic and helpful, however he could only provide the available resources and there was a professor from the Catering college who just happened to pass by and assisted us. Hot water would only be available after 5 am the next morning. Phone didnt have facility for outside/local calls. We had to contact booking.com and a customer service agent called back to say that they will check for alternate arrangements, which when done was around 7 kms away. We had to endure and stay at the place for the night. Break fast, next day was mediocre. On the third day while checking out we were told that the bill will be mailed to us later.
