I have made a reservation and needed an early check in as I’m travelling and will be reaching Mumbai at 8 am. I wanted to check-in at 9 am in the morning. I only politely asked the receptionist if it would be possible to let me know if not now then latest by Sunday if that would be possible. I called their front desk and when I enquired their receptionist started shouting at me. I kept telling her don’t shout and in the same tone she tells me I’m not shouting. How can you appoint rude and disrespectful people in the hospitality business? Very bad behaviour and didn’t expect this from a brand where we have stayed in the past as well. I believe their service is only degrading and there’s no room for respect for the customers.
Special Thanks to Tejal. She accommodated me way earlier than their standard check-in time. Outstanding service by each and every staff, regardless of the time. Easy check-in and check-out. clean rooms. Lastly, a hassle free experience and great value for money. Will visit again.
Have visited Many Hotels in Mumbai - Paid 8 grands for one night at Tunga in Andheri East, ABSURD RATES. No outside food or Water allowed. YET the hotel refuses to give two complimentary Mineral Water bottle. TRUST ME NOT VISITING AGAIN.
Situated in andheri. Room space is good. The hotel restaurant offers one of the best food with your customisations especially fish and salads. Front desk staff were helpful especially Mr Nadeem. Overall a good hotel. Only negative is less lighting in the rooms which they can correct.
Situated in Andheri , this hotel is convenient for travelers using airport. the rooms are quire big by Mumbai standards. housekeeping is well above average. Although it was quite crowded during the check in time, the situation was efficiently managed by front office staff. The room which we stayed in had an issue with the lock and we had to take help of housekeeping staff almost every time to open the door - the complaint could have been attended while we were out of the room , but was not. The hotel has a decent restaurant with good veg /non veg options and liquor . The buffet breakfast spread was quite good. Altogether a pleasant place to stay in close to the airport .
Right from Checkin to Checkout was a nightmare that i really would like to forget. - Smelly rooms (post complaint was changed to another one, which had lesser stink) When you checking in with kids (infants) do not offer them smoking rooms. - Outside food not allowed, however in house restaurant is inefficient to cater to guest needs. Took a shocking 2 hours for our breakfast to be arranged. Remeber we were travelling with kids and eldery people. - None of the channels working on TV, escalted thrice and no resolution till checkout. Pathetic
The worst experience ever had for a staycation. Best part - STAR category room. The rooms were Quite spacious & great ambience with vibrant colours in the rooms & also clean beautiful small bathtub in the Room. Worst part of the stay - Pathetic Staff. The staff at this property are least interested about their guests no gestures of welcoming the guests. Least bothered about the guest. The whole staff including the front desk manager has no manners or courtesy to talk to guest. It's actually worst then the 3 stared hotels only because of the staff working there. No hospitality u can expect from them. So many restrictions in each n every thing while u stay in tht property thts the most annoying thing. They are least interested in making any kind of efforts for their guests. The only good thing about this hotel was the Star room & nothing else. They cannot even provide a second turn down or bedmaking service to their guests thts pathetic. I would only recommend this to the guests who looks for a good room but other than that do not keep any expectations when you visit this property. …
The stay was as expected, neat and spacious room, but what I loved was the food. Stand out dishes were pomfret tawa fry and prawns and rice soup. Would probably stay again due to close proximity to the airport but more so for the food.
Stayed for 4 nights. The room size is big comes with a bathtub and smoking room is also available. Amenities are good, hot water dental kit is provided. Alcohol and food can be ordered from the room. Food is really amazing at Tunga, as word of mouth you will hear it from many people and Tunga keeps the promise of serving exceptional food. Chinese was good had Manchow soup, noodles, chiken biryani, chiken chilli dry etc. View is not there as there are buildings on both the sides. One thing that can be improved is the room lighting, it hits right on ur face just above your head the lighting is to sharp and disturbing, hits straight on the eyes. Overall had pleasant stay.
