I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights earlier on this month and would recommend it to those travelling on a budget. The staff were friendly and accommodating - they spoke great English. I would definitely recommend paying the extra fee to upgrade to AC - their AC system is reliable and effective. There are plenty of restaurants and bars...

I stayed at Travellers Inn for 3.5 months while I was on an internship in Mumbai this year, and the staff became one of the best parts of my trip. All tremendously kind and welcoming people, always willing to help. I also met countless awesome people during my stay here, and the common room upstairs is a great place to...

My wife and I were flying standby out of Mumbai and had to change our length of stay and ask for help in several different ways. The staff was friendly and did so much to accommodate our needs! The location is convenient, with some interesting sights nearby. The room was small (expected) and clean. The A/C worked, as did the...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a A/C room, room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy, common room is a good place to meet people and eat toast in the mornings. Overall fab stay, we would certainly return!

I have been journeying through India and Nepal for almost a year. As you can imagine, I have stayed in many hotels and hostels of varying levels of safety, cleanliness, and comfort (or discomfort). Hotel Travellers Inn is the only place in which I have stayed that I recommend to people without hesitation or disclaimers. Not only did I fall...

Stayed north as long as possible due to hot weather then dashed to make our plane- arrived at 1am after 3 days straight of roadblocks, flooded busy bus station with no lights, 40 degree 29 hour train and several other mad normal events and the staff had our bags upstairs before we'd paid the driver. Felt like a cool eddy...

Stayed here twice in March and April/2017 Pros: It is a small guest house with all basic amenities, very popular with backpackers/budget travellers and a very good base to explore Mumbai. In the heart of the city with plenty of restaurants, shopping and services around. Easy to reach by feet from CST station or prepaid taxi from airport. Rooms are...

Although the staff is friendly (there is hot water and Internet) - it doesn't make up for the clientele. I stayed here for a week and the noise was TERRIBLE. The walls are so thin - you hear babies crying and screaming - kids running and screaming - people slamming their doors. I only got 4/5 hours of sleep per...

The room was clean, but furniture really old, and the bathroom very run down. The breakfast was just a little bit of toast and of poor quality. The Staff was ok, but not particularly welcoming. Location is really great though.

Pros: *Good location. *Very friendly and helpful staff. *Hot water *A/c Cons: *Expensive- 2300 inr. Per night, NOT including 12% tax in total- which you only find out about at the time of payment... *"breakfast included" means a small empty toaster on the roof floor, and some butter (if you are lucky to get some before it runs out...)
