We arrived at the resort by train from Bangalore and booked a cab. The second we entered the resort we knew that our stay would be magical and beautiful! We were welcomed with a nice big smile and we were given a nice cool Nannari sherbet. We were shown to our room by Mr. Malatesh and we loved the room very much! All the food was delicious and at the restaurant le Olive Garden we saw ducks and watching them we enjoyed our meal even more. It was a 4 day vacation and we really enjoyed it! During check out we wished we could stay longer but it was one of the best vacation I have ever been on! Mr. Ravi, Mr. Malatesh and Mr. Malikarjun were very kind and very helpful. So far this was the best trip I have ever been on in my whole life!

"My new supper experience at Olive Garden in Windflower Resort, Mysore, was completely exceptional. The peaceful feel set the ideal state of mind for a brilliant night. Restaurant Manager Lokesh and his mindful group guaranteed all our requirements was met. The culinary excursion was wonderful, with dishes like Lemon Chicken, Peri Prawns, Fish Tawa Fry, and Thai Broiled Paneer having an enduring impression. The flavors were immaculate, and each dish was ready with care. The remarkable assistance and flavorful cooking at Olive Garden made tonight really extraordinary. Enthusiastically suggested for anybody looking for a first class feasting experience in Mysore!"

Stay at Windflower Mysore was a mixed experience. Check in was smooth. The property is beautiful but the rooms need maintenance . Air conditioner was non effective. Fan was also slow. Normally Mysore weather itself is pleasant but the two days we stayed it was hot and humid. Dinner at Olive Garden Restaurant was Average plus with only the Mutton Rara which was not prepared well. But Lokesh and team were very helpful. Next day the staff at the Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Would specifically like to mention ever smiling Venkatesh and also Devraj. Overall a Good stay and if the rooms are maintained well it will be excellent

The rooms were quite comfortable. But unfortunately the spa was under renovation of which we weren't intimidated before hand. The food in the Olive Garden restaurant was delicious. The best part was the serenade by Glenn and Robert who regaled the diners with old time English hits. The soothing voice, the strum of their guitars coupled with the nostalgic songs from my childhood was a veritable treat. The facilities in the resort is not quite up to the mark. But we were told that a major upheaval is happening and that it will be ready in about 6 months. The location of the resort is beautiful but the approach road is pretty bad.

Outdated facilities, crying for renovation. Photos on website are old and not reflective of current conditions. Restaurant kitchen is highly un-hygienic. We stayed in 6 rooms and many didn’t had even proper hot water for shower. Very bad service from the hotel staff. Not willing to acknowledge and correct issues. There are much better hotels / resorts in Mysore and nearby

Their kitchen is unhealth and is infected with cockroaches and other insects. They served us biryani which had dead cockroach in it. Upon complaint, they just removed that day lunch from the bill and said "sorry". End of story for them. Upon writing several emails to the management of Windflower and the GM of Windflower mysore, there has been no response. My wife vomitted the food after lunch and we couldnt eat any further after seeing the cockroach. They also made several other mistakes such as mistaken order, horrible food quality such as in the case of cheesecakes. On top of this, they had assured us the availability of the villa room if the room is available beyond the normal checkout time of 12PM. As we checked in at 9.30PM, hence we requested them the same to which they agreed. Later they forced us to move to a smaller room mentioning incoming guests in that room. We later found no guests had moved it and the room has not been cleaned too. Just for the sake of moving us out of the villa room, they suggested us the sudden booking of the room.

Average hotel. The external ambience is good, but the rooms were ok at best. People were definitely responsive, but we had to ask to get everything in order. Location is great as its near to zoo, Chamundi Hills. Palace, etc.
