The location is close to Mysuru Palace. Takes less than 10 mins by car. The hotel has ample valet parking space at basement. The check-in process was smooth ( booking was done directly in their website) . The stay was for 2 nights. The complimentary breakfast spread was large. The live counter , the other hot and cold breakfast items were prepared well. The bakery items like Danish, muffins and doughnuts were fresh. Food was great quality. The rooms service guys were quick and efficient. All of them were very polite and courteous, however am able to remember one name Sondeep. Whenever we requested for something it was provided within 5 mins . Surely an efficient team at work. At the breakfast area Mr.Ravikiran was exceptional and so was all the others there. They managed the rush hours well. At the front desk Vinitha did a great job by making the checkin process real quick and about 30 mins before actual check-in time. We had booked 2 Mountain View double bed rooms and we got two rooms that were connected to each other. This made the family stay together always even though separate rooms were booked.
During our stay we celebrated birthday of our family member and the team at Radisson arranged for a lovely cake at the breakfast table. A very sweet gesture indeed.
The view from the rooms was exceptional as we got a very nice view of Chamundi Hills.
The parking attendants, security attendant's were also very polite and welcoming.
Overall a memorable stay for all of us.
During our stay we celebrated birthday of our family member and the team at Radisson arranged for a lovely cake at the breakfast table. A very sweet gesture indeed.

Very good hospitality. Staff were very welcoming. Mr. Maqsood Ahmed addressed us personally and made sure that our stay was comfortable. We were 5 friends who went there so he gave us interconnecting rooms to us. That was very helpful. Soundarya, another employee greeted us with a broad smile and helped us in giving most needed and valuable information about our Mysore site scenes. I was at the Spring restaurant with my family at lunch on a Saturday and the entire experience was the singularly worst dining experience I have ever had in my life.
It started with the table which we were seated at not being cleaned. We were seated for about 15 minutes and no one from the service staff bothered to wipe the table clean or clear away the used glasses or the used mineral water bottle. Despite two polite reminders, it finally took a stern voice to get the staff into action. A clear lack of training was visible; otherwise even a humble restaurant knows the importance of cleaning the table before you expect diners to order or go to the buffet.
The appetizer took almost 30 minutes to arrive and our main course arrived more than an hour later. At this point, while the staff turned more attentive and apologetic, the damage had already been done.
I have dined at Radisson Blu Mysore several times over the years, particularly the Spring restaurant. In fact, my wife and I have enjoyed the new year's eve special dinner buffet a couple of years ago and both the food and service were exquisite.
However, after yesterday's experience, I was left fuming and disappointed. What should have been a peaceful and premium lunch with the family became a painful chore.
The management of the Radisson Blu needs to pull it's socks up if it wants to remain a premium choice for consumers. I, for one, am unlikely remain a loyal customer much longer.

Accomodation in Radisson Blu Plaza added to the possitives of our family vacation this time in Mysuru. Located at a nice & convenient location, picturesque views of cloud covered mountains from the hotel room as well as from the lounge are mesmerizing.
Suite Room that we had in this hotel provided the best of accomodation experience. Service by the staff is of top class. Special thanks to Lipitha in the Executive Lounge who helped us all through from check-in to check-out.
We also tried the south Indian restaurant " My South" which is amazing with food varieties from all south Indian states prepared and served in most authentic way. Also the Service in this restaurant make you feel special. Special thanks to Vishnukumar who served our table. Vishnu is quite new a staff but we will remember him for his very professional yet personalized service.

We were 5 people. The stay was very comfortable. We used the in house restaurant called MySouth that serves amazing South Indian cuisine , it’s a must try if you plan to stay here. This I would say is by far the best place in Mysore. The staff is very courteous and helpful.
Suggestion : Please stop using plastic bottles in the room and use glass bottles in the room that can be refilled for water.

First stay in Radisson I should say it was great and will look for Radisson in other places also.
Right from reception to restaurant team,housekeeping team all were great and I should say friendly, chef customises your food without hesitation when requested.
Hotel is sparkling kept clean marbles are shining.
Rooms -Beds are very cosy and comfortable well maintained I could see partial view of Mysore Place from my room.

Check-in process and staff at the reception were professional and good. The guest room is good , but the general mainatinence of few in room furniture , and bathroom , bathtub, behind mirror is questionable to a 4 stay or 5 star category expectations. The steam was a 'yuk' , with yuk All around in the drain and the floor. When I raised this with the service staff, he said that the steam room was cleaned just 3 or 4 days back. Usually the steam room is cleaned and sanitized every time a guest exits.... God save. Morning breakfast had limited option and zero speak to kids. Cakes and bakery items were pathetic. I doubt Mysore has any better hotels of this scale.

Sorry but likewise I was there in February. I can say that it was an excellent hotel, the best of the 11 that I stayed in during my latest visit to India-and that is not because the others were bad. Why not ask them directly. I found the staff at this hotel super helpful.
Hi while we did have a rented taxi and driver through the visit, we were paying him a daily nightly allowance and so we didnt have to worry about his accomodation or meals outside of working hours. Not sure where he lived though, but whenever we called him in the morning, the taxi would emerge out of the hotel basement parking garage. And he did not have any adverse things to say during the trip.
But I am not sure about where he lived, so you will have to check with the hotel...
