Detailed Reviews
Hot water was stopped during late night till 7 AM in the morning. Even after calling the reception they didnt switch on the hot water. Breakfast is served only at 8 AM which is very late. Nnot sure if its their gimmick to avoid attendance. Rooms and bathroom were super clean and perfect. Bath towels., toliletries etc were provided clean. Bed spread and pillow were clean and hygenic. Parking is little difficult as they have a supermarket and a multicusine restaurant in the ground floor. No reserved parking for the hotel guests. First come first serve which is disappointing. I got a slot and didnt moved my car in the evening fearing the parking crowd.

Stay at this hotel for a very short time. The hotel is very nice and the staff was also very nice. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The food was also very nice. Overall a good stay. The hotel is well located near a couple of restaurants and a super market and a medical shop.

We stayed on 9th&10th Jan 2016, We were warmly received by front desk madam with surprise welcome gift cookies, check in was hassle free, rooms were really warm and Pleasant no complaints... our room had good view of the noisy roads...
Hotel is situated 3-4kms far from city centre that's the only drawback you cannot go for shopping or sightseeing unless you have car or bike...
The complex has a Medical store, Loyal world super market and Big Chicken which is very ideal and convenient... For Buffet Breakfast they hand you coupons which you have to collect in reception, and the morning reception guy was some what lazy in handing over coupons wasn't hospitable at all. BF was same as usual Idly, Upma, bread, cut fruits and juice....
Word of caution when ordering food from rooms plz ask for New rates for Menu card because while checking out we were in shock to see the bill was so high and when asked they said: "that's old menu card and yet to replace we have complained to our higher authority they are reluctant to change," which I felt they are cheating and we were cheated too...
So dear travellers Overall Hotel is good but the Location is real turn down but still it's Nice and Warm hotel to stay....

This is a good place for family staying overnight by passing the town of Mysore. There is sufficient parking space and situated on a broad main road.It in a shopping complex with a restaurant from where you get room service orders.Ola cabs available for going to town center which is not far off.It is easy to locate if you are coming from Bengluru. The open canal nearby is an eyesore,if you wanted to have a view.Over all it is a value for money place and recommend for a single night stay.

Stayed here for a night in Jan, after a terrible experience in The Dawn Hotel (right opposite).
Very comfortable stay with good quality service, Attentive and helpful staff, Breakfast was decent.
The hotel has a restaurant called 'Big Chicken' very good food with reasonable pricing, the kids enjoyed the pop corn chicken and French fries.
Overall a very pleasant stay...will surely be returning.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The place is more like a business hotel which is functionally very good. Quality of room and bathroom is very good. Slightly dated but maintenance is very good.
Comfy bed, most cable channels and situated in a very prime location makes this place a travelers delight.
There is a super market and pharmacy in the same building. The parking area is a bit small. The restaurant 'The Pearl' serves both Veg and Non Veg options. Room service is super efficient. Staff is professional and friendly.
The complimentary breakfast is very good. They primarily serve South Indian food. In no way the spread is less as mentioned by other reviewers here. A special thanks to the chef.
Will stay here again :)

I was surprised to know that this hotel is categorized as 'two star' because its services and amenities are notches higher than that.
The reception/front desk staff were very helpful, the associates helped us carry our bags from the SUV (we're on a road trip and just needed a place to freshen up and sleep). The rate is modest and the amenities are clean, large room and hygienic. Interiors are minimalist. The best part is it's location ~ it is centrally located and is in close proximity to places of interest in the city of Mysore. What's unforgettable were the helpful staff, complimentary water, nice South Indian breakfast and free wi-fi (fast enough).

Called in to check if i can get a free upgrade as no superior rooms were mentioned during my booking on Makemytrip as i booked for my wedding anniversary however got a very bad response that they cannot give any room upgrade and if they do so hotel will go under a big loss.
Mrs Sherly also was not courteous enough to listen to my request and kept reiterating that i need to pay 1200 for an upgrade which made no sense.
She also told me to cancel the booking if i would want to and would not look at my request. Such a poor unprofessional staff who does not mind customers cancelling the booking but is particular about hotel going under loss for a mere 1000 bucks was imaginary.
Iam strongly looking at cancelling my booking and my stay at Sunflower hotel. Makes no sense to shell out my money on a hotel and staff which runs only due to customers such as us.
