This was a four-night family trip. We found lots to love about Silent Shores, and some things we didn't.
First, the positives: + The actual place - rooms, grounds, and facilities. Though situated in a commercial/ light-industry area, the actual hotel has acres of grounds and as soon as you enter, you're in a different world of greenery and trees. There's a small lake, with a distinctively weird waterfall; a swimming pool; two play areas for kids; nicely maintained walkways. We stayed in the suites, which were very spacious bedroom+living room. The bathroom was large, with great water-pressure (once we got the hot water turned on). + The staff attitude. Everyone was super eager to please, and very helpful. They were all - from front office to all the restaurant staff, room service, and housekeeping + The Christmas party! We hadn't expected the Christmas celebration on the lawn by the lake, but it was lovely, with live music from a singer and saxophonist singing the traditional carols, excellent food, and wonderful desserts.
What we didn't love: + The keycard system at the room doors. They had the usual plastic keycards but only issued ONE per room - even though there were two occupants. It was hugely aggravating. If one person was taking a nap, the other couldn't enter without waking them. Probably the single most important reason not to go back as a couple. + There was the usual key-slot for the keycard to turn on the power. So when we left the room, the power went off - and as we discovered too late, so did the mini-fridge. We had to throw out most of what we stored there. In one of the rooms, the fridge was quite stinky and thus unusable because of this. + Wimpy, nearly non-existent wi-fi. It made planning outings quite difficult.
Mixed: +/- Food: The food varied from okay to excellent, but most of it was spicy to very spicy. It wasn't easy for the spice-sensitive members of our family.

The group of around 175 people staying at Silent Shores were very happy with the rooms and the facilities on the property.
The staff at the restaurant, banquet, front office and the housekeeping were extremely helpful and ensured that we were well taken care.
The menu was handled well and their experience in handling large groups came through with the way this was dealt with for 3 days that we stayed at the resort.
Definitely a place that i would highly recommend.

Excellant stay, clean and well maintained. All the support staffs were extra helpful, buggy service was super helpful. Excellant food quality, lunch buffet had amble of food choices and the dinner food quality also was amazing. Swimming pool is also well maintained. Children pay areas had lots of rides and all a well maintained. Bicycles are charged extra which I feel can be offered free.

This was one of my best family stay in the recent time. This well-maintained, beautiful property gave us enough space to unwind and savor the warm hospitality of extremely courteous staff. I had a member with us who is 85+ years whose every need was taken care of by experienced hands. It would be unfair to name anyone special here since it is the team that made the difference and gifted us a wealthy experience. My sincere thanks to the management for empowering the staff to look after the guests as their own near and dear ones. If you are visiting Mysore, Silent Shores should be your place to relax.

Staying at Silent Shores Spa and Resort Mysore was an experience I will never forget because of the kind and genuine hospitality shown to us by the entire team of the resort
The rooms are large, spacious ,clean and very comfortable the staff are helpful, prompt and never delayed any of my requests.
Even though the resort is so huge the upkeep is impeccable.
I definitely recommend this Resort to anyone wanting a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Amazing rooms and the ambience is so soothing with greenery everywhere. Kids enjoyed their time in the kids playing area and the greatly maintained swimming pool. Food, be it breakfast, buffet lunch or the dinner...all three were in excellent quality. Totally worth it. Special mention to Rajendra, shyam and subramanian for the wonderful service at the restaurant!!!
