We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mulberry Bay apartments. The rooftop is wonderful for music, etc with a lovely view of Chamundi Hill. We enjoyed it so much, we are renting the apartments again for our conference in 2020.
Thank you!

This was a lucky find on the internet for us. We stayed here with young children for about 2 months. It was a home away from home for us. This is a 3 bedroom apartment with a kitchen and living area. There is a TV in every bedroom with cable connection. There is also UPS and Wireless modem for those of you who have to stay connected.

You can rent the rooms individually or the whole apartment. The prices were very reasonable. There is a maid service everyday so the apartment is kept spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped with a cooking range, Microwave and Fridge. It is also well stocked with cutlery and cooking vessels. It is also supplied with Potable drinking water. The maid can wash your clothes on request. The person who owns and runs the place, Gayathri, is a very amicable host. She was very responsive whenever we had any issues. I saw firsthand her helpful nature when one of the house guests had an accident and she personally took her to the doctor and checked on her everyday.

The location is very convenient - There is a mall (Big Bazaar) within walkable distance where you can get almost all your supplies including groceries. There is a charming old church right opposite the apartment complex. For those of you coming to Mysore to learn Yoga there are about 3 Patashalas (schools) within walkable distance.

Very highly recommended! Without doubt will use this on subsequent trips. Gayathri is also planning to open more serviced apartments in Mysore with I'm sure the same excellent service.

We chanced upon the Mulberry Bay by a fluke Google search, as most other Mysore hotels were full up that week.

It turned out to be one of our most pleasant experiences. The Mulberry Bay is an airy, spacious fully furnished, spotlessly clean three bedroom apartment on the first floor of a new building on Vani Vilas Road, very close to the Mysore Palace and the popular shopping areas. Gayathri, the charming young lady who owns and runs it, went out of her way to make us feel very much at home.

Breakfast and cleaning services are included. Laundry and other meals can be arranged for a very nominal extra. Parking is available in the basement.

Gayathri provided us delicious, authentic Mysore cuisine and excellent real coffee from her own home. It is such a refreshing change to have home cooked food instead of the usual restaurant fare! There are several restaurants close by for anyone wanting to eat out or order in. Alternately the kitchen is fully fitted out for those wanting to do their own cooking.

One can rent a room or the entire apartment for very reasonable rates, and reduced prices for longer stays. Gayathri also has cheaper, basic rooms close by for those doing long term yoga courses or on a tighter budget.

We had intended staying a couple of days and then moving to a home stay in Coorg, but were so comfortable here that we stayed the entire period at Mulberry Bay, doing day excursions instead to the surrounding countryside.

I would definitely return.

I travelled to Mysore by myself and a friend back at home had recommended Mulberry Bay as a great place, but what I found was much much better than expected. The apartment is very comfortable, nice, super clean and placed in a quiet street close to everything (to me the location was perfect). The staff that works there make everything easy and are always helpful.
But the best of Mulberry Bay is the host: Gayathri. Since the first moment (and even before I got there via email) she was lovely to me and helped me during my stay with every little thing, always smiling, always reachable, just adorable, which is really nice when you travel alone.

Highly recommended! The hole experience was just perfect!

I had shared there for 2 years in a row and my search for a good place to stay in Mysore ended with Mulberybay. We had hired the 2 BR Apartment in both Instances and loved the Maintenance and Hospitality. the service staff are ready to Help and less Intrusive. Also Located in a calm yet easily accessible Location.

If you are in Mysore and with your family, then the best places is Mulberry bay.... Quiet and private, would also like to appreciate Madam Gayathri for being so gracious. There was enough space for my daughter to run around and do her painting and also give us time to watch some t.v.... everything is in a reachable distance and if its not also the staff are quick enough to get what you are missing....

Great place to be in for a quiet and personal time out.....

We were greeted by Mrs.Gayathri but from day one no proper power and so no motor to fill water tank and therefore no water to take a shower. Specifically no hot water in the rooms as promised even after power resumed. Even after asking about this we were not provided hot water. There are two washrooms but only the one outside as a common washroom has hot water provision. The attached washroom people have to carry hot water from the common one. This is absurd for the money we pay.

We travelled to Mysore as a whole family (around 7 adults and 4 children) and booked two mulberry bay apartments. A good place away from the crowded area but quite handy to reach tourist attractions and landmark. The host Gayatrhi welcomed us and also was very kind to send us home with Mysore Incenses as our sovereigns. Good place for any travellers

this was our second stay at Mulberry Bay in the past couple of years and I must say Gayathri has done a wonderful job of offering clean, comfortable service apartments that are absolutely value-for-money when staying with the family in Mysore. My teenage kids have made it clear the next time we visit Mysore it must be Mulberry Bay and nowhere else :-) the kitchenette with the basic utensils are a big help to brew oneself a quick cuppa early morning before setting off to wherever one is headed..(in my case the first time it was the Kaveri trail marathon and this year to Nanjangud for a family function). recommend this highly for families.
