Just 0.5 kms from Nagarhole Tiger Reserve Gate. A nice resort in a rustic environment. Well managed rooms and amenities....all very reasonably priced. The food was very homely kind and the staff were very friendly....almost family like atmosphere. The management of the hotel had attention to all the services being provided to Guests and could arrange Safaris at short notice. By the way, very good sighting of a leopard too (happily sleeping on a tree), herd of elephants and many more. A few outdoor games available, could have been more though to hang around in the resort.
Jungle Inn is a resort right next to the Tiger Sanctuary giving you a blissful experience of a peaceful stay. We stayed for 2 nights and it was a great experience. The property is simple yet complete. Has all the basic amenities needed for a fun filled vacation with your loved ones. The staff is efficient, food is surplus and tasty, the founder Smitha and her team there will make your stay personal and memorable. If you want to have a simple and peaceful trip then look no further then Jungle Inn. A hidden gem that is complete value for money. Thank You 😊
We, group of 12 people stayed here for a weekend and we had an amazing stay here. Rooms are clean, food is good and service is really good. Specially its owner and staff takes care of all your queries. Looking forward to visit again.
Rustic and wild experience at Jungle Inn is how we summarise our one night stay at Jungle Inn. Having read the reviews we were a bit negative on it, but on our journey it was an ideal place to make a halt and hence we had booked the place. We were attended to very well, food was really yummy and homely, rooms were compact but exactly what we needed. Right next to the nagarhole national park gate they also helped us get a jeep safari at right prices. We are very sure to keep visiting the place on our next safari trip to Nagarhole
We visited the place with our friends and families. We were a big group. This place is nice, Cosy and comfortable. A genuine jungle stay experience. It’s a home stay and not a hotel or resort so you cannot expect luxury or fancy experience. But a very nice holiday outing for a day or two. Lots of privacy and quiet surroundings. Getting hot water in evening is a problem as it was available in morning only. No room service facility. You may encounter minor inconveniences but overall good experience.
A pleasant drive from Bangalore. Stayed at Jungle Inn for two nights. Its a beautiful property.Liked the peace and calmness. The room alloted to us was neat and comfortable. Curtious and helpful staff.Quite liked the homely food too.the place is well maintained. Kudos to Sandeep and Smitha! Would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway.
We stayed in the Tented Cottage and it was neat. There's a double bed and a bunker which in total can easily accommodate 4 people. The tent was spacious and clean. The property has lots of open spaces and is filled with trees, good for a family outing. It's half a km from the entrance of the Nagarhole National park. The food is also good. Safari can be booked directly with the forest department or you can go to JLR Kings Sanctuary and a book a Jeep Safari directly from them.
JUNGLE INN I had booked a room in this resort for 2N/3D. This is very close to the Nagarhole gate, walkable distance to be exact. They provide different categories of room. The resort is spread across a huge area, covered with trees and those interested in birding can get a chance to view many varieties of them. Walk out of the resort and you can see the Nagarhole forest just opposite side of the road. Below are the few pointers regarding the resort- 1-Location: The resort is located very close to the National Park and you can walk to the gate. 4/5 2-Food: The food spread was huge, however, the food did not taste that good. The food tasted almost the same. It needs a major revamp. 2/5 3-Accommodation: The accommodation was very comfortable and neat. All the windows had netting on them and thus there was no chance of any insects coming in. The washroom, closet area, bedroom, and the outside seating area was clean and well maintained.4/5 4-Safari: You can individually book safaris either at the JLR counter or you can do the same in the ticket counter of the NP. The other option is to ask the resort to book a jeep safari for you. 5-Amenities and entertainment: The resort is well-equipped with amenities and has various activities for entertainment. They have a volleyball area, a badminton area, and children’s play area. Also, they have a campfire in the evening and also a wildlife documentary show. Things could be much better if they can add a nature walk or a bird walk in the morning or evening.3/5 6- Ambiance: The overall ambiance of the resort was good. It could have been better if they could have instructed the guests to keep calm and not create commotion and play loud music, which seriously hampers your quality of sleep. 2/5 Major changes are required in terms of food and managing the guests (the noisy ones).…
We stayed here for only one night to enable us to do a late afternoon and an early morning safari, and the Inn fulfilled our requirements admirably. Interestingly enough, we were the only guests in the facility, largely because this is the dry season, and the low point of the season for Nagarhole N.P. Visitors. The Inn is showing it’s age, but actually fits well into the natural Park surroundings. If you’re looking for five star accommodation this is not the place, but then again, if you need that level of hotel experience, perhaps you shouldn’t be doing wilderness safaris. Sandeep, the Manager, is both social and a fount of knowledge which he imparts freely. A buffet dinner is provided shortly after the afternoon safari returns; similarly, breakfast buffet is set out when the morning safari returns just after 09:00. Hot Water is only available between 07:00 and 11:00 so be prepared to go to bed a little sweaty at night. …
This was my second stay, the first almost a year ago to the day. Four of us stayed in two tented chalets and had a great time. I’m a keen bird photographer and this is an excellent location for such a hobby. There’s a lot of bird activity within the hotel grounds itself and much more a short walk down the road! The hotel is in very close proximity to the National Park entrance and several lovely villages in the other direction. The food was excellent, the chef was very accommodating. The only issue during our stay was noise from another large group, but this was swiftly dealt with following a brief conversation with them.
