Budget hotel near palace. Decent rooms. Helpful staff. We were told during check-in that we'll be supplied with hit water in the evening on request. However, for some reason the water had not heated up through solar heater. The staff went the extra mile to provide hot water from a separate geaser.

We did not stay at the hotel as such, but had lunch at the restaurant (is not listed separately in the index). The setting reminded me of an old movie, but what is mind blowing is the house thali ! It is not on the menu, so ask the waiter. For a mere 60 RP, you get a budget friendly...

Just bang opposite to the Mysore Palace.Rooms are simple with basic amenities, but what impresses me the most is the Restaurant which serves you divinely crispy vadas and steamingly...

Hotel Govardhan is centrally located and a stone throw away from the Mysore Palace and walkable distance from the happening Devaraj urs road. The infrastructure is very old and needs a immediate maintenance. However, if there is no other option for stay, you can keep this as a option as cost wise it is pretty reasonable. I would recommend this...
