A great VFM hotel which is just 2.5 Km from the Shimla Railway Station & 6 Kms from the New ISBT and just a few hundred metres ahead of the Tourism Lift. A drive in property ideally located in the heart of the city just below the famous Mall Road of Shimla with a Parking Facility which can accommodate 16 Small Cars. Equipped with 22 well furnished and spacious rooms where in each room enjoys a beautiful view of the valley. - The Hotel has 9 Deluxe, 11 Luxury & 2 Executive Rooms spread out on Ground plus 2 Floor levels. Currently we do not have an elevator connecting the two floors but the same will be installed shortly. 100% power backup is available for the convenience of our guests. A Banquet / Conference facility that can accommodate appx 150 Sitting and 300+ Standing members. Also equipped with a Sports Parlour that has a Basic Gym, Snooker & Billiards Table, Carom Board, Chess, Plasma Screen which can be booked on the basis of Advance Bookings. We stayed here as part of our intrepid tour so our expectations of hotels are basic but clean and comfortable. This hotel far exceeded our expectations our room was large bright and airy and comfortable, the bed was very large although the mattress was a bit hard. We loved the comfy seating area by the window where we sat, relaxed and admired the view. Others on our tour said their rooms were equally as nice. Hotel staff were very friendly and attentive and the room was well equipped, including a safe and kettle and we had plenty of hot water. It was a bit chilly during our stay so they provided extra blankets and we were able to hire an electric heater for the room. Complimentary bottled water was provided but a fridge would make the room even better particularly during the summer months . Breakfast was very good freshly cooked or there was a buffet all very reasonably priced. There is a very steep slope down to the hotel which is a bit of a challenge walking back up, but this is shimla and you expect hills,. However, the hotel location was good very close to the Main Street, everywhere was pretty much walkable from the hotel. If you visit shimla we recommend you stay here for a reasonably priced hotel with good sleep quality and excellent service. We also recommend you take the cable car to the monkey temple as this gives the best views of the city.

My intent of sharing my views here is to help travelers like me to make right decision of booking the right hotel.
The overall experience (with family) was outstandingly delightful, and pleasing. The hotel staff was very courteous and warm. Food is very delicious, right from breakfast, to dinner, we almost had everything in their menu.
Here are the detail now,
Recently, I traveled to Shimla with family (with parents) during 1st week of Jan'23. While my research, I found Hotel Silverine with overall good feedbacks, so I shortlisted it for my stay and connected with the Hotel team.
Right from the booking the experience was seamless, every details shared with me while making the booking had pin-point accuracy like the rooms, hotel, services, etc.
At the same time, the hotel location was perfect because we just had to walk (upward) few steps to reach mall road as the hotel is on one end of the mall road. Since Parking is available, so you can easily drive down till hotel door.
Hotel was very much accessible through road, since this was a road trip, so I was able to swiftly take my Honda City to the hotel and parked it at hotel.
Hotel rooms were very neat and clean.
The hotel staff (particularly Mr. Sunil Darhal) guided us what to see when to see and how we can reach their. The important point to note here that he was not at all pushing (like a salesman) to pay him for his services...all this was a friendly help and support from the staff. I simply felt like I am at my home and everyone here were helping me & my family.
I strongly recommend this hotel to be your first choice if you want to enjoy your Shimla trip.

Silverine Hotel
Pros: The Premium Executive Room, that was the best they had, was spacious with a beautiful view of the valley and a comfortable bed.
Cons: The slope to the road leading to the Mall Road was narrow and steep. Only a very experienced driver could manage it, and for senior ladies like us it was a challenge ascending it.
The bathroom had a foul smell and no amount of freshener could eradicate it.
We were provided with two tea bags (of a good quality) and were told that that was all they provide in a day and we could order tea from the restaurant if we wanted more. On arguing that we were paying ₹11200 for two nights with breakfast we were reluctantly sent a few loose Tetley tea bags.
We were provided with a bottle of mineral water each on Day 1. Nothing on Day 2, the lame excuse being that we had not asked for our room to be cleaned hence the water was not automatically provided.
I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, thinking one can't go wrong with that. What I got was a sandwich with little dry yellow balls of chicken that had nothing to hold them together and that kept spilling out and falling on the plate.
If the management improves on these little issues that are well within their control I am sure the Silverine Hotel experience would be a pleasant one.

The room was basic but adequate. As it was cold we asked for a heater for which they said there would be a charge of Rs400 per night.
The room was clean but not the shower. The food however was excellent.
Location - our driver found it hard to find the hotel. Access to the hotel is difficult as already mentioned by many people. Luckily for us it was not snowing.
But you can walk to Mall Road easily from the hotel

The property is not maintained and upgraded. The dust was found on furniture. Basis toiletries missing from washrooms. Even basis hotels provide these. A toothpaste cost rs 5/10.
Heater is provided at extra cost, was told to me at the time of checkout, which is provided in hotels, specially during winters.
There is kids area and playarea but that is chargeable.
Food is something that was good and room service was good.
Hope the property gets upgraded.

We visited during Christmas (2020). We stayed in delux rooms(View Side).
Rooms were very spacious with wardrobe.
Proper Sanitisation of rooms were done before check-In. All covid guidelines were followed by Hotel Staff.
Restaurant food is healthy and delicious.
Hotel location is not recommended for elderly people,since there is steep slope to go towards mall road. Request Hotel Management to provide alternative solution for this(Pick-Drop towards mall road side in car).
Room service was prompt.Compalints (if any) were quickly resolved during the stay period.

A beautifully located hotel, right at the foothill of the mall road, with 22 rooms all of them facing the valley and the hotel is recently renovated with its private parking ( which is a dream in Shimla hotels)
We were a group of 51 friends and family celebrating our friends 50th. We stayed for 4 nights.
The time we spent at silverine is unmatched to anything we have done before, thanks to the loving and cooperative staff, the food and the bonfires on the terrace, to say the least.
The rooms are well designed with all the comforts of a good hotel with extra blankets and pillows.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shimla.
The owners Siddharth and Varun are always present at the hotel and they will do everything to make your stay wonderful and memorable.

One of the best hotel staff that I have ever come across.
The hotel staff took the responsibility of not just telling us to move our as it started snowing but also helped my partner drive his uphill. They were kind enough to put stones behind his wheel and push his car wherever he got stuck.
Further, the services were quick, the rooms were clean and the staff was soo sweet. A very positive environment which made our trip extremely memorable.
