Stayed here for two nights in Apr’21 and must say that Mr. Ashok Sharma @ reception gave a good deal on walk in including breakfast. He was very courteous and shall give you smooth check-in experience. The in room dining experience was superb as their Head Chef, Mr. Naresh Sharma, made customised superb home made Chicken curry for me and equally good vegetarian food for my wife and kids. Hotel is nicely located and very near to Mall Road. Food is good here for sure. They ensured proper sanitisation of my room in front of me during check in despite their telling that the same is already sanitised. So plz ensure that you get it sanitised during check in too as per your satisfaction in front of you itself.
Only one suggestion that I had to give them during check out and which is very very important is that in the rooms they have sofa chairs placed just near to windows which both have equal heights thereby very very dangerous for people travelling with small kids as there could be any accidental fall of kids from window which is unprotected with any type of grill in case the kids open them by mistake.
Herein I would again urge their management to take utmost precaution of that and ensure that their windows are either permanently locked or should ensure grill to be installed in these windows for kids and even adults’ safety. I asked house keeping right at beginning to keep those chairs outside my room but a permanent precaution must have to be taken by the management. Overall a nice stay experience there.

We had a wonderful experience in this hotel for an unforgettable 3days stay well guided and coordinated by Mr. Ashok (Front office Manager), who supported with all our requested and made our trip the top most in our entire journeys so far. The hotel is well located with access to transport and Mall road. We also had an experience guide named Mr. Shailender who is in tourism field over 25years, regulating the trips based on our customized requirements.
Overall we had great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel and the crew.

I and my friends had a very nice stay at this hotel which is situated in Shimla and is very near to the mall road. They have their own way going thru the hotel up to the mall road which is hardly 10 minutes walk. One has to climb around 40 stairs so not recommended for elderly and differently able people, but otherwise it’s a short cut to reach to mall road (beware of monkeys though). Whole staff is very cooperative, especially Neha, the receptionist. She was polite and patient enough to show us different rooms available in the hotel. We finally chose to stay in family suite which was quite nice and can easily accommodate 5 person (we were 4).

Location: 9/10
Staff: 10/10
Cleanliness: 10/10
Facilities: 8/10 (because wi-fi was not very stable, but manageable)
Overall: 9.5/10

We booked this hotel through a travel agent who recommended us on very high notes but upon arrival we realized, that it was a mistake! The hotel is terrible so dirty and not maintained. Floors, Linen , sofas are all left dirty and not been cleaned. Hotel required urgent maintenance look after.

I am from the same industry and it is so sad to see this hotel condition. Staff is trained to charge extra for any request you make. Our room was so cold hence we asked if hotel has a heating system and answer was heating system is off due to low occupancy and reception suggested solution with room heater but on extra charge?? My surprise if the hotel is low occupancy we must Swire in cold or pay extra !!! See the attached real photos show how bad the hotel is maintained.

We stayed in room 102 and it has noises whole night as windows cannot be closed properly and it is located on main road.

Booked a stay for an overnight trip. For rs 2500/- all you get it a dingy room (as I made last minute booking???) broken locks & bath room jets!! The reservation manager obliged us with the booking saying this rate is his best as their starting room is 5k!!! Could have refused instead of fooling people.
Definitely never again on my list.

PROS

1. Booking was made well in advance, on the day of checkin receptionist provided us with early check-in at around 6 am without any additional cost.
2. Aesthetic of the room was good. Spacious enough for 2 pax.
3. Taste of Indian food was good.
4. Post check-in I changed my meal plan on which they co-operated & reduced the room rate.

CONS

1. Dirty walls inside the room.
2. Leakage in wash basin, assistance was called but the response was "Etna to chalta hai"
3. Only 1lit of water for a couple, which is quite less as per the tariff charged.
4. Breakfast buffet layout was very less.
5. Torn bed Lenin & hair on bedsheet found upon checkout.
6. Chinese food ordered was not that good
7. On 25th night there was loud noise in the corridor, we made multiple calls at reception however no positive response & empathy from receptionist.
8. While going out I asked for water bottles to which I was told it is chargeable & more than MRP on it.

I would like to start with my experience which was terrible. Room needs renovation especially bathroom. I also saw an insect crawling in the bathroom , bedsheets were full of stains as well as the pillow covers. There were marks on the wall , and windows were stuck. The whole room & bathroom were so unhygienic. I gave more money & upgraded myself in other room but it was also the same with same old furniture & unhygienic bedsheets. The only thing i can appreciate is the lady on the reception ( name) Neha Thakur. She handled us in a great way by understanding the issue & showing some concern to it. However the othe guy sitting beside Neha was full of arrogance & non acceptance behavior.
Definitely i won't recommend this hotel to anyone until & unless they get renovation done properly.

Hi Neeti, it is around 500 meters to the mall and it is not near the baljees restaurant, they are at different place while the owner is same. From the hotel you would have to take 45/60 steps and then walk for 500 metres to reach mall. Enjoy your stay ... Cheers Nirmal
