We stay here we booked 3 rooms for 9 people. We checked in early in the morning at around 3.30 . They give us rooms which they have to give us by 10 in the morning. After that they are demanding xtra charges like full amount for early check in . We are ready to give half amount but they start misbehaving with us. The person who is standing at reception is very rude & even don't have idea how to talk to guest. Not ready to listen anything. Bad experience.

My family and myself were in Shimla first week of Feb 2020. The Variety of dishes salads soups were mind-blowing. Banquet and Restaurant are fully renovated. Staff is highly groomed by GM and Sh Kochhar sahib. All round cleanliness deserve compliment. Continue yr regular topclass standard. Will visit in June again n hope to see high rating in all sphere. Extraordinary smile on the face of FAnd B made my visit successful so my family.

The Asia Dawn is in Kacchi ghati area which is three-km from main Shimla city. I stayed at twice here and here is my reviews. (I stayed twice because of company) 1) The location is not so good to stay 2) The hotel is too old and looks haunted 3) Service is exellent 4) Food is avarage 5) Rooms are bad. Think twice before staying here

Asia the dawn is a decent property in Shimla for a no nonsense hotel room that is neat, clean and warm. Meals are OK. The highlight of this hotel is a caring general manager Kamal Dewan who goes out of his way to add a warm, caring touch.

We visited this hotel on our trip to Simla in Dec 15. The room alloed to us was foul smelling with open bathroom like literally open on a terrace. We immediately requested change. The other room was a bit better in the corridor. Only curtains could hide the window from people wandering around. We felt very unsafe but as we were travelling with a group we were safe. Couples .. please avoid this place. Food was horrible as well. Not cooked properly. Everything was oily n bland. Breakfast was ok. But dinner was not. Staff was ok. Bathroom fittings were dirty n old. Curtains in the bathroom were filthy. Not recommended.

We called the hotel on our way and he gave us price Rs X plus taxes, but on final billing they increased the rate by One thousand plus taxes. 😒😒😒 Hotel was fine, rooms spacious but property is not maintained well. Dinner was forced Buffet (No ala carte) and was double expensive according to the quality they served. Breakfast was fine. Staff was good. Telephone and switches had issues. Overall it was just an "adjustment" experience.
