We found this a small clean budget hotel with friendly & helpful staff. It has a convenient location within walking distance of both the central area of the town & the railway station.Our room had lovely views overlooking the surrounding hills.There is no wifi.

Do not ever stay in this hotel. Shabby surroundings and highly arrogant staff. The rooms are like dharmashala. Alsovrooms are very small and basic facilities like intercom is also not working. Biggest mistake to stay here

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for a day and half in May 2014.. We reached shimla from Manali and this hotel was arranged by our Delhi travel agent.The rooms are so small and unclean even when they call and take price for a delux room.The curtains of the window were so cheap that everything from outside is visible so we asked them to cover the window with towels because they couldn't change the curtains. The food was very ordinary without much variety and very expensive in comparison to its quality. Staffs are very rude, particularly the manager is extremely unfriendly and a complete misfit for hospitality business.Our toytrain to Kalka was at 2:30 pm so we requested him if we could just stay for another hour in the room as the room timing runs from 12 to 12. But he didn't pay any regard to my request and asked us to vacate the room by 12pm.And biggest shame is their room service men had the face to ask for tips in spite of their terrible services, I keep travelling to different places across the country and the world but I can suggest this is one of my worse experience in any hotel in the world over. My first stay in Shimla and it was a last minute booking hence had to settle down at Meridian . Courteous staff , good service and overall a comfortable hotel . The food was simple , authentic and fresh. Good budget hotel to stay.

We stayed here in may 2014. The hotel is OK for a night. Unfriendly staff. Not really clean. The food was ok. Nothing special. We stayed here with a big group of 15 people. I wouldn't recommend the place.
