Honestly, such an amazing experience. Mr Singh and his wife were so welcoming and took me into their home with much warmth. They had some amazing food prepared and teas. Mr Singh is very knowledgeable about the area and history, and was very informative. It was a trip I’ll never forget!

This was my third visit to Chapslee , the first after Covid and my first road trip as well .I chose Chapslee , as I remembered the last time I was here fondly .Well nothing has changed .Apart form the sanitising norms the food , the rooms , the experience remain unique .That a family strives so hard to make sure one gets a Royal experience is in itself just so special . It’s a home loaded with antiques and the sheer splendour blows you away .I enjoyed indian food though the continental food is equally special.Breakfast is served with home made bread , so rare these days .I took a loaf home for my family !All in all id recommend Chapslee to anyone wanting a unique experience with solitude , great food and the lovely and lively chatty owners full of anecdotes .Will be back soon!

Chapslee is an experience, an unforgettable one! The grandeur, old world charm and warmth is something that will stay with us forever! There was absolutely no stone left unturned during our visit. From the staff to the service, the cutlery, food everything screamed luxury. We had the opportunity to meet and interact with the owners Mr Chandrajeet Singh and Mrs Singh who were the most gracious hosts. Chapslee is a must visit, you will have the experience to stay like the royals did and get in touch with history with the elegance and character of the hotel.

A short weekend stay at Chapslee -too short for our liking-took us into the past, to the country home of a Maharaja, or the English Country Squire’s quiet abode. The property is beautiful and historic. Built in the 1830’s, it has been skillfully maintained to retain "ye olde worlde" charm– the paintings, furniture, carpets, curios, curtains and even wallpaper take you right back in time, when horse drawn carriages outnumbered motor cars. And yet, with all mod cons – wi-fi, heated mattresses, hot water, room heaters et al. The food was superlative - from Scones with Tea to Continental Dinner and a Full English breakfast - each one better than the next. And the service is impeccable - Mr. Chandrajit Singh, the owner, and his excellent staff made sure we were pampered and taken care of every minute of our time there. Not to forget the canine company – a pack of splendid dogs to spend your time with in the gardens. Looking forward to going back for another taste of Chapslee again soon. Will recommend you click and book without hesitation, for an experience you will never forget.
