We had a very comfortable stay at Aarika Homestay, especially since Mr. Raj as well as his entire team took care of us like family. The rooms were nice and clean, comfortable. They offered home made food options, which they customised based on our taste preferences - Especially since we travelled with 2 kids. Also, since they have a limited number of rooms, there was no delay in service! The property is at a distance from Mall Road (not walking distance), but Mr. Raj ensured there was a vehicle to drop / pick us up within minutes of our requests. He also suggested and helped us organise a day trip to Chail / Kufri, including a vehicle at a reasonable rate. Would definitely recommend this as an option, especially for family travel!!!

We had a really nice experience during our stay in Aarika Homestay. The rooms were extremely clean and quite comfortable with us for a 3-member family (7yrs old kid). They provide food also there which is very good at taste. The property is not a walking distance from the mall, but the owner (Mr. Raj) would always arrange for a cab to drop you to the mall or pickupfrom there, whenever required at completely free of cost. So it is extremely convenient. We also had a medical situation during our stay when my son fell quite ill and the kind of help & support which we got from Mr. Raj is unimaginable. He doesn't have a business mindset at all, rather he is like a family. It is truly like a home and literally a homestay. The kind of hospitality we got, we would surely recommend this place to all traveling to Shimla.…
