The staff were very nice, however the hotel is not recommended as it doesn't provide the basic and minimal facilities one is used in a standard hotel. The breakfast is extremely sad and not at all value for money. Cleanliness is an issue, they gave us used bedsheets from the previous guests and there was no concept of cleaning the rooms or bathrooms. I am not going stay here again.

Despite it being a newly built property, the staff does show you the warmth and homely feeling which you probably might not find in any well-established property. Right from the check-in to the check-out, the staff is there on its toes to help you with whatever they could in order to add to your experience. Everyone has dreamt of waking up to the sight of a beautiful valley right outside your window. Well, guess what? You can literally live up to your dream here by booking their valley view rooms.
Being a hospitality professional myself, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Shimla.

One of the best hotels I have ever visited during my travel. If you are looking for a scenic view, budget price, sumptuous meal there is no other place than Hotel Moonlight in Shimla.
The rooms are pretty clean and staff polite and amazing. Chef, Vijay and Munish Bhaiya kudos to them. Super helpful. Moreover, the bus stop is 100m from hotel which will directly take you to Mall Road.
Must visit this hotel once for a stay or even if you are looking to work from home during the holidays.

Sharing my recent experience at Hotel Moonlight unfortunately, cleanliness seemed to be lacking with stained bedsheets and subpar housekeeping. Disappointing to encounter uncooperative staff as well. On the bright side, the culinary offerings were a pleasant surprise, offering a silver lining to an otherwise underwhelming stay.

A newly built property offering mesmerizing valley view from the rooms. The place is neat & clean and has a good food menu. The staff is really helpful and takes care of everything you ask for. Overall a very nice experience. Cheers to the whole team of Hotel Moonlight. Keep up the good work guys.

There should be proper arrangements for guest driver. As driver is a human being they should be treated good as we as guest in the hotel. No bath facilities for driver gives a negative thinking towards the hotel. The owner should think about it.
