Shocked to see this hotel burn MOUNTAINS OF PLASTIC/GARBAGE every single day in this beautiful area of Mashobra! It is because of such people that there is pollution even in such a remote and forested place. Shameful. Have complained to pollution department and CM helpline. When we spoke to locals they said Koti Resorts has been doing so for 10 years, and after multiple complaints also no action has been done. It's up to people to make them stop.
Location is excellent, Food is excellent.. Services are excellent. Rooms are good & spacious. View to the hills are interrupted. Bar gives a complete heritage look. It’s an old property, but looked like a heritage one. Over all, an excellent property.
One of the best decision was to pick “Koti Resorts” for my wedding. We are from Delhi and the bridals family is from Guwahati, So basically, we had no soever connection with Shimla, but still the way they Rajeev Ji (GM) and his team managed the event was outstanding. Best part of the venue is their lawn (overlooking hills), Food was great and so was the hospitality. In destination weddings we expect early checkins, late dinner, late music (controlled) which they happily organised every possible demands. Rajeev Ji also connected us to all possible vendors required for the wedding. Overall ratings - Room - 8/10 Washroom- 8/10 Food - 9.5/10 Location- 10/10 Hospitality- 10/10 Service - 10/10
This is a good hotel but we had a series of mishaps with our Standard Room. When I complained to the Desk Concierge at checkout, he said this happens with standard rooms. Hence I said I will be posting this feedback on the site. The Manager was unavailable at 8.30 am when I checked out. Pros: Good location and overall resort seems well laid out. Staff was very attentive to each problem Cons: Our room was freezing and we promptly got extra blankets. At 10 pm, the ceiling started dripping due to some leakage. We were shown 2 rooms to shift into, one was stinking and unclean - hence we chose the other one. Bit later we realised that the toilet was not functioning properly and hence asked for a change. At 11 pm, a plumber promptly turned up to fix the problem. So all in all this was not a good experience and we checked out next morning…
I would give 0 stars if I had that option but unfortunately I can’t do that so that’s why I am give them 1 star. It is a very good looking property but the only problem is they don’t want to accommodate you. They’re charging you for everything that is meant to be complementary in a good hotel. I think nobody charges for Ice buckets, water and basics are over priced. I came here in February 20 22 paid 7000 for the room and asked them to give me a bonfire right in the back but they asked Me for 2500 deposit so that they could give me the bonfire facility Veras 150 m away sarovar Portico for a lower price for the room is giving us all the amenities as a luxurious guest and what these people are doing is making money of the opportunities that should be given to a customer As a Complimentary service. They had all the games table tennis and everything available as amenities as soon as I asked them for a pool table they charged me 200 bucks for an hour and as I ordered a drink this serve me with complementary peanuts on the other hand as soon as I went to my room and asked for the same service for complementary peanuts with drinks they said it is charged because you’re calling for the peanuts in your room it is not about the peanuts it’s just the poor hospitality in this place is unacceptable and if you’re ready to spend five to Rs.7000 on a room I would ask you to prefer Marigold sarovar portico over koti resort. Have a good stay in Shimla And naldhera guys. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody. It was the worst experience of our life’s. Thank you.…
The resort is at amazing location, all the rooms are having perfect views. The food is delicious and behaviour of the staff is showing high level of hospitality and commitment towards their service. I would definitely recommend anyone who’s coming with family, friends and any other purpose.
Rooms: We booked 6 rooms in the resort, the room size was decent, but the furniture and furnishings were poorly maintained, cleanliness was compromised. House keeping was poor. Small things like refilling water and changing coffee mugs, toiletries etc had to be repeatedly asked. Something as basic as room iron was refused. They do not provide room heaters, the suite room has a separate sitting area where the room a.c cannot warm and we could not use it as it was sub zero temperatures. The food: The breakfast had limited options and taste wise was just average. The dinner was a shade better but again there were limited options and could be better. Hospitality: poor They have more ‘NO’S than Yes Not possible, we do not have is repeated more than effort to please the guest. Something like a bonfire, was refused and then after repeated requests an obnoxiously high price was quoted. They have not mentioned there amenities on their website. The good thing: it’s a pet friendly resort. There are better resorts nearby with better amenities. I would strongly recommend looking around for other options than Koti resort.…
We booked Koti Resort for our wedding and it was the most surreal and perfect place. The property is built and maintained well. The food was also good and the staff was very cordial and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking forward to have a destination wedding.
