This is a magnificence hotel where the entrance hall is very beautiful. Nice smiling and efficient people, at the Reception desk, are always ready to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The overall security, the swimming pool, the night bar/Disco, the Gym/Spa are just very well adapted to the different customers' needs.
However, the main exceptional valuable points are the two restaurants and the rooms.
The main huge restaurant is able to provide an excellent Indian/international breakfast buffet specially designed for heavy duty eaters.
The Indian food diner buffet is simply delicious as well. There is only one negative approach to be kept in mind permanently : how to eat as much as possible, without gaining weight ?
The second restaurant is a Chinese restaurant where, "a la carte", you can get all kind of Chinese food, guaranteed... without Corona-virus.
However, I wounder why there is a Chinese restaurant within an Indian touristic structure. Perhaps, this is the best way to ovoid an expensive travel to China.
The very clean rooms are simply fantabulous. The entire marble bathroom is composed of a large shower but also of a white bath. Like this, there is no need to fight with your wife, especially if you are in the honey moon.
An other good point is about the typical Indian soaps witch are just perfectly adapted to the body and nose, after a long touristic visiting time, just before to go to bed... and to enjoy your honey moon.
In addition, there is a large glass window between the bathroom and the sleeping room. Basically, one can be in the bed, visually enjoying the other one taking a shower. Sensual effects are ensured.
The room itself is a completely international standards furnished one, with a very high ranking comfort and decoration. Nothing is missing.
Globally, my wife and I were very satisfied with the Pride Plaza Hotel and we decided to return there, ASAP.
Speaking of Food, There's a lot to choose at this hotel. With options of multi-cuisine at Café pride”.
We dined all different meal periods and all of them provided an exceptional service and amazing food.
Last but not the least; during this pandemic period most important is safety and hygiene. This is something you can never complain about in this hotel. We observed that all places we being regularly sanitized, the staff was wearing mask and gloves all the time and of course there was a general sense of cleanliness in the hotel.
Overall, It was a great experience, special thanks to Manager Mr. Saroha. He anticipated the entire stay in very prompt way. He was so humble and ready to go out of box for guest satisfaction
The location of the hotel is very good for a quick trip to the airport or to the nearby shopping complex which is quite modern. The rooms and bathroom are modern with a decent layout and amount of space.
The breakfast and dinner selections, along with their quality, were excellent. The staff service was often disorganised which added to the general confusion I have about this hotel. There were several meals where we would sit down and find that cutlery, glasses or napkins were missing at our settings. If you were lucky enough to be offered a drink, you also had to be lucky to get it and then even luckier to get the correct bill for it. Complimentary table water was offered with lunch and dinner which was fantastic - I am not sure if this is standard or because we stayed with a group.
I was originally put in a smoking room and so were many other members of the group. We have no idea why seeing none of us smoke. Originally it was because I thought the hotel was full but according to the porter who carried my parents bags up – it was nearly empty. Unfortunately, the same porter sneezed multiple times on my parents and their bag which given the circumstances, was less than acceptable. The next day, the staff were happy to let me change rooms which was most appreciated. There was also confusion over this as I was told a porter would be up to show me to my new room. When the porter arrived, they checked the minibar and then told me to head down to the lobby for checkout, which I did, only to find out that the porter should have given me the key to another room.
Neither room that I stayed in had tissues, my parents did. This was a little odd considering that the hotel offered other complimentary toiletries. The internet was painfully slow. There is the option to pay for ‘high speed’ internet which might have been worth it until you find out that ‘high speed’ means 5mbps. To put this in perspective, Khazakstan’s average internet speed is 11.4 mbps.
Overall, our stay wasn’t bad, it was just impacted heavily by the experience we had.
I had to come to Delhi For some work . My family was petrified at the idea of a woman travelling alone to Delhi but agreed at the end when I managed to convince them that I will stay at a place where I have earlier . (my husband and I had stayed at pride plaza in 2019 August )
I was met with excellent service right from the moment I contacted them , they assisted me in making the booking , upgraded my room on arrival , I arrived on 31st eve , the next morning
the restaurant staff very sweetly packed me a couple of muffins to have on the way as I did not have time to sit and have breakfast and had to leave by 7 am...( which btw were great , my complements to the chef ) ( completely reminded Me of my parents who are always trying to make sure that no one steps out hungry ! 😊)
The room service and assistance was very prompt .
Unfortunately I had to cut my trip short and return the same evening , the dy manager went literally out of his way ( and desk ) and offered me his computer and helped me reschedule my flight and printed my travel documents for me .
They refunded the amount paid for the day I couldn’t stay with them .
Dear staff at pride place , aerocity , i didn’t get all of your names ,
The ones I have are of surbhi and Abhishek Gairola at the front desk and Puneet .
I thank you all and your colleagues especially the manager ,
for my short but extremely peaceful stay
Any hotel is just as good as the people who work there make it , and you guys make this place feel very welcoming .
I hope to come and stay again with my family once the pandemic is over
and if I am travelling alone any time again , I know I don’t have to book anywhere else in Delhi .
Dr Fatma Siddiqui .
The business center was one computer at a desk in the lobby. Not ideal.
Lots of food selection at the various Buffet stations
Ask for non smoking if you are a non smoker. They gave me a smoking room which I changed because it absolutely stunk of stale smoke.
The carpet was stained.
