The staff was so rude that they even don't know how to greet and meet the staff instead they were busy in chitchatting with each other. Even after requests to check the order from the kitchen the staff told "Khana bangs to aajayga" this was ridiculous
What an amazing place to stay. The staff could not do enough for us. The service was excellent. The food was lovely, It was very clean and comfortable. It was my birthday whilst staying there and when we went to the dining room for our evening meal, Majood, the young fella who served in there, had put up some balloons and brought me a cake, with candles for me to blow out. And 'Happy Birthday to you' was sung. I would definitely stay there again.
My family and I spent nearly 3 weeks travelling around India. We stayed at the Wood Castle Grand for a few days at the beginning of the trip and then again for a few days at the end. I can honestly see we did not come across better hospitality in any other hotel we visited. It was the perfect introduction to India and was a fitting end to our stay. In addition to the friendliness shown by the staff, the rooms were always clean and tidy and the food was amazing. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Clean comfortable and the hospitality was out of this world. Definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning. Thank you for making us so welcome 🙏 it was the perfect start and finish to our Indian tour 5*
We were warmly welcomed and the staff were very accommodating, including providing us with breakfast in a to-go bag when we had an early train to Agra! The room was clean and comfortable and a good place to stay for a budget-friendly night in Delhi!
Very small room with uncomfortable bathroom, Cleanliness was at it best, very clean room, location was ok nothing more about it. There was a person working by name Manoj, he was very good soft spoken and very helping.
good property although outer look is so so, but rooms are quite comfortable with all facilities. good service and staff is very cooperative. food quality is very food . location close to outer ring road & metro station.
We booked a few nights, purely on the TripAdvisor recommendation. The room was clean but the towels, although washed, had long since lost their white colour to be replaced by grey and, for some reason, we were given bath mats instead of hand towels. Weird. It was lovely to be greeted with a garland of real marigold flowers, it was a shame that they were past their best by about two weeks. The dining room was scruffy with some very large pieces of furniture. Breakfast was poor. I wouldn't touch the cereal as I had no idea how long it had sat in the canisters. The curry, though, for dinner was good but go veggie and avoid any with meat. It's a great place for a night before a flight but probably not for sightseeing.
You have to wonder why a small B&B miles away from anywhere you'd want to visit in Delhi is the city's 10th best hotel on here. And after three nights there we really can't understand that rating. We seemed to be the only people there, which was a bit creepy. There were always strange men hanging around reception, which was even more creepy. At breakfast, in the basement, one of them just stared at us while we ate. Once they realised we'd booked tours and they couldn't sell us anything, the staff had no interest. Avoid the hotel's travel fixer, Javid. He's a spiv. The location is over an hour from anywhere you'd want to visit. There are slums at the end of the road. I've given it three stars because once you're in your room, it's fairly clean and quiet, though the towels are grey. Don't be hoodwinked by its TA rating. Avoid!…
After a tiring long haul flight we were picked up by our tour company and were booked into this hotel. It was tricky to find -say by the water tower to your driver-but nice we had a warm welcome rom the owner Rajesh. We were allocated the garden room with its small patio area which was lovely to sit out in.The room was a reasonable size and clean.Rajesh was really helpful guiding us in getting tuk tuk’s to get to a local market and finding a restaurant which turned out to be very nice indeed. To be honest,I was apprehensive re travelling to India and very anxious about things but this turned out to be a gentle start to break us into the chaos that is India.
