A perfect place for your stay during Delhi
This is located right in the heart of Karol baug easily accessible by an auto from station. Local eateries are available right at the doorstep. Also it's at 2 min walkable distance from the famous Karol Baug market.
The room was nice, clean, smelled good and had all basic facilities like toiletries, towels, napkin, TV, hot water jug, small fridge.
The bed too was king size. We were a family of 2+2, and we could easily accommodate 2+1 on the bed. We requested for an extra mattresses and it was promptly provided at NO extra cost.
In house restaurant is pure vegetarian and tastes very good. Jain food too is made available on order.
Thank you Hotel Swati for making our stay in Delhi a memorable one.

We stayed for five nightsd during the Durga Puja and Dussehra break. This property has been our go to property whenever we visit Delhi. The lobby manager Mr. Jha was very hospitable and welcoming and so were the rest of the staff in housekeeping, room service, restaurant and security. We hope to visit again next year. Thank you Hotel Swati.

Great service and great food. The food just kept on coming within a friendly atmosphere. All vegan and vegetarian food with a choice of spice levels. I can recommend the very traditional food with the waiters in rational dress. Comfortable seating as well

Centrally located in Karol bagh. Rooms are well furnished but need better maintenance. The bedsheets were not clean with stains and hair on them. The toilets also are wearing out. Overall a ok experience, much better than the others around.

The hotel is located in the busy lanes of karol bagh Market. Parking is an issue here. The hotel is good. Very neat and clean and upkeeps the name of the Hotel Swati brand. Food is also good here. Staff are courteous. Check in is little slow. Everything is good here except the room size. the rooms are too compact and gives you a feeling that you are in a small box. For the price I paid I think there would be more options available, but it has edge in terms of service. Best suited for shoppers as located in the heart of Karol bagh Market.

I stayed here at the beginning and end of an adventure travel type tour down the Ganges. It cost about $US60 a night. First room I stayed in had blood on the sheets and when I removed the sheets could
see the mattress was crawling with bed bugs. Went to have a shower but shower head blew off into the side of my face. On way back in a different room the air conditioner caught fire. Actually were flames shooting out of it! Took 15 to 20 minutes to get any of the staff to come and then they send the boy. No fire alarms and no evacuation of course, although they did give us another room!

Stayed in this hotel for travel, initially I found it good, newly renovated and situated in the heart of Karol Bagh, but service is aweful, Internet did not work, breakfast was appaling ... Overall will not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel ... If in India it's always better to stay in star hotels than these small ones

I stayed in the Swati for two nights as part of an Intrepid/Urban Adventures short break.
The hotel is very modern, and the rooms very up-to-date and polished. The bed was huge and comfortable and the bathroom ample sized. There was a programmable safe in the room too.
The wifi was a big dodgy at times but it was free.
I had room 208 which overlooked the street and, being just one floor up, could be considered a little noisy if you're not used to it - it was fine for me as I'm accustomed to some noise at night.
The staff are lovely and very friendly, they helped me out when I arrived, making contact with my Intrepid guide and such.
I would recommend the Swati - as a solo traveller I felt quite safe here.

Hotel Swati does the job for the price. It's in a decent area, the room is sanitary, and the manager speaks good English. It's also good that there's a restaurant in the hotel; you'll be too exhausted at the end of a day to go out onto the streets of Delhi.
Only one problem. I was told that when I flew into Delhi that there would be a hotel driver with a placard at the airport. I arrived at the airport, and I did not see the driver. I had to take an airport taxi back to the hotel. I was told that the hotel driver was trying to call my mobile number and it didn't make sense for the following reasons: (1) I was told that he would be identifying himself with a placard, and (2) Why would I have my US mobile phone on upon my arrival to India? When I checked out, they still charged me for the hotel taxi. When I asked why they were charging me when he didn't make himself known, the manager said that I should have called the hotel when I didn't see him. Obviously, I did not have a foreign mobile phone upon my arrival at the airport, and it would not make sense to incur roaming charges on my US mobile phone. However, they did not charge me for early check-in and they cut the service charges, so I dropped the issue. I feel though that people should know about this before choosing this hotel.
