The room given did have a balcony on to the very noisy bazaar below. It was an initiation of fire to the noise and pollution of Delhi, however we enjoyed it for that very reason! The room was basic, indian cleanliness with towels that were so hard was like using sandpaper. Although train booking services, money exchange etc were advertised...

The hotel was very clean and bathrooms had recently been updated. The rooms however were a little dated and could do with some renovation. The staff were helpful and arranged sightseeing for us. We ate one night in the restaurant but found much better eating options in the local area. Wifi was excellent with good connection due to router being...

I was first here in 2007 with my husband and then again 10 years later with my 2 nephews. This place is great and is the only place we have ever stayed in Delhi. It's centrally located-- right by the Metro and a walkable distance down the road from the New Delhi train station - (but tuk tuk is better...

We stayed here both times we came through Delhi and could not be happier that we did! The rooms are amazing! So nice and new and the shower is lovely. The staff is great, so helpful and willing to help you set up a tour, airport pick up or whatever you may need! Also the restaurant on the roof is...

Amazing rooftop restaurant, but can be cold during the winter. Other than that, the food is amazing. Lasagna was perfect and I experienced the best lamb ever known to mankind. The chef deserves a statue. The hotel is very tourist friendly, located in a slum (which can be noisy), which provides an authentic feel.

This hotel is run by a very honest and service minded family. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and nice. Many have balconies with a nice view of the exciting street below. Wifi is excellent and the beds superb (we both suffer from bad backs). Bathrooms with very good hot water 24h. Safety box and very good "ground...

I wish I had not gone by the reviews here. The Goods: 1. Close to new delhi railway station. A tricycle will take you for INR 40 to the hotel. 2. Walking distance to the nearest metro RK ashram. 3. Easy check in 4. Hot water 24 hrs. 5. Looked safe inside. The Bads. 1. Neighbourhood may scare you. Lot...

Metropolis Tourist home is at the better end of hotels in Paharganj. The rooms are very clean and everything works, good quality for the price. The location is good, very close to Rama Krishna Ashram Marg metro station. There's also a great rooftop restaurant, with very tasty food.

We arrived at 6.40am to a dog sleeping on the front steps and a locked door. Maybe not a good start, however, a few raps on the door brought a staff member to let us in. Reasonably prompt check-in, however, we were initially assigned a standard room and not the deluxe room we paid for. Room had a polished concrete...

It is a hotel in Paharganj. You can't expect much. Metropolis Tourist Home is basic, but ticks all of the important boxes. It is safe with plenty of staff keeping an eye on the place. It is clean. It is right in Paharganj in the midst of hustle and bustle. The windows keep out most of the noise. It is...
