This is a decent hotel in the heart of the shopping district (walk 1/2 block from the hotel and you're on the main street). We stayed at this hotel for several days on two separate occassions and we did notice a big difference between the first floor and the third floor rooms -- third floor is much nicer and quieter. For the price, it's about the best you can find in Delhi, and the location is great for shopping. Also walking distance (about 3 blocks) to a GREAT restuarant -- Udupi (its clean, cheap, and great South Indian food!!). On the down side, the doormen were the lasiest I've seen anywhere, but the management seemed very nice.

We have stayed in this hotel from 09/03/2015 to 14/03/2015, during our visit in Delhi. This is a good place for stay. Stay at this place is comfortable and also reasonable. Hotel staff can arrange vehicle for you and you have not to worry for the same. Staff is also good and cooperative. The only difficulty is about food, i cannot give 100% mark to food quality, but may be 50%. But you can easily arrange good quality food from outside and it is also permissible. In short, this place is good, comfortable, clean, cooperative, in middle, easily accessable, reasonable, etc.

We were, without notice, from the airport taken to a different hotel, of dramatic quality. Only when we arrived at the hotel we noticed it.
Booked the hotel via Agoda and booked the taxi via Agoda.
Be very careful, there are more reports of this scam! Better don't trust anything taxidrivers or hotel staff tells you about this place or why you were taken to another place.

I wouldn't stay in this strip of hotels again, far too noisy being next to a very busy highway, even though we were given a room at the back of the hotel. We booked a car with the hotel to pick us up from the airport as we arrived late night, but after waiting 20 minutes and making a call, we gave up and got a prepaid taxi which was cheaper anyway. No wifi to speak of, no bedside lamps, no hot water after running for half an hour. Sorry for bad review but I couldn't recommend this hotel.

Old, Dirty, No hot water, and one of our rooms had no running water.
The linen and towels are grey, and do not look at the pillows or duvets, as you will not sleep.
Staff were pleasant and I don't think are aware of how bad this place is.
There are no food or drink options here, you have to go out.
It is well situated for Karol Bargh.

The good reviews are fake. This hotel is below standard. Unless you can't afford a good hotel, try looking somewhere else. They don't have any facilities. They get food from outside. The toilets were dirty. The room itself was not clean and had to call someone to clean it. One person to do all the work. Worst experience of my life.

I stayed in Hotel Classic, Karol Bagh, Delhi for a week in mid October 2010 as a solo female traveller combining a business trip with some sightseeing. The hotel is conveniently located 7 minutes walk from the metro in a dynamic retail neighbourhood just a few stops from Connaught Place. I booked on the internet and the email response was prompt, couteous and efficient. The hotel staff and manager went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to look after me. The room was spotlessly clean and the evening meals (room service) was good too with a wide range of freshly cooked food. The hotel also provided me with an absolutely excellent driver called Hamlesh. Most stunning of all was that by my own mistake (jetlag!) I overpaid by £150 and the next day the desk manager (without my asking) pointed this out and gave me a refund. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, especially to solo travellers and will certainly use the hotel again if I return to Delhi.

On their website they had specified exactly which rooms were executive, deluxe etc. We chose the executive and were given a room which looked like neither of the rooms they had on the website. Poor outdated decor. To the credit of the staff, they moved us into a slightly better room for the second night but this was not much different.

Warning, don't trust the pictures on the website. photoshop comes to mind. I would advise what we did. If you're going to india, book a couple of nights first and then see what the rooms like before you extend. Trust me, there are plenty of hotels which you will be able to walk into and book straight away.

Disapointed!!
