The Roseate New Delhi offers a serene oasis with its lush ambiance and tranquil surroundings, garnering appreciation from guests for its beautiful rooms and serene water bodies. However, opinions on the hotel's service are split, with accolades for staff warmth but also accounts of inconsistency. While amenities generally receive high marks, some travelers feel the hotel falls short in providing value for money, noting maintenance and cleanliness issues. Despite this, many find the location peaceful and the overall cleanliness commendable.

The stay was excellent. We found everything to our liking. And also thanks to Mr. Yuvraj and Ms. Sushmita personally checking for our needs. Would like to pay a visit soon. We also liked to decorum of the room and appreciate all the complimentary available (made us feel like staying at our own home).

In summary the hotel’s attractive modern design is impressive. As accommodation that works for the guest it is flawed.

The almost pretentious ‘story’ concept says a lot about the designers’ priorities - style over substance and practicality. That said, our bedroom was clean, quiet and comfortable with WiFi that needed the assistance of a staff member to function well. The breakfast and evening buffets are good, the staff helpful.

However, the bedroom’s plethora of light switches are unlabelled and baffling. It is trial and error to adjust the lighting to one’s preference.

The bathroom is simply bizarre. It’s a glass cube. Why it has been designed with glass and Venetian blinds rather than walls is a designer’s flight of fancy. Who wants a toilet in a glass cube within a glass cube? The shower floods the room as there is an inadequate sliding glass door rather than a functioning shower door. There are no rails on which to hang towels to dry. At night, the light switches are impossible to locate without a torch to navigate the glass maze.

There is a damp problem on the corridor floors. We were told it had just been shampooed on each of our three 1 night stays!

Providing one dressing gown and one hand towel for two people is mean. There was no specific place or rack to put suitcases, poor for an airport hotel.

The Roseate could be rosier.

I recently stayed at The Roseate Hotel in ‘what was supposed to be their most luxurious room’, the “Lake View Room,” and I am beyond disgusted with the experience. To say this stay was a letdown would be an understatement—everything about it was subpar and well below the standard you’d expect from a high-end hotel.

First off, there was loud music playing outside our room making our stay uncomfortable, we couldn’t walk outside or explore the property because it was booked for some function. Even worse, the room was not clean. The marble near the bathtub was dirty, with visible grime and marks, making the entire bathroom feel neglected. For a hotel that claims to be luxury, these basic hygiene issues are inexcusable.

The towels were of horrendous quality—scratchy, old, and thin unlike what people get in other luxurious hotels. The semi-transparent blind covering the window was missing entirely, leaving the room exposed and adding to the overall sense of neglect. I had booked the “premium” experience, but it felt more like a budget motel.

When I asked for a simple and customary request—rose petals, bubble bath essentials for the room —I was met with a rude refusal from the staff. No explanation, no apology, just a dismissive “we don’t do that here.” There was no steam iron, shoe polish (basic essentials) in the room and we get these things literally in a budget hotel as well. There was nothing special about the most Luxurious room. Unbelievable, especially given the price I paid.

This experience was nothing short of pathetic, and I regret spending my money here. There are plenty of better, more professional hotels to choose from. Avoid staying at The Roseate House. It is NOT worth the money, and you’ll likely be as disappointed as I was. Never making the mistake of staying here again.

Hotel is very handy for the airport.

Overall: It looks impressive, food was excellent (although expensive I thought) and the hotel and restaurant staff were unbelievably lovely for the most part.

The rooms were nice and spacious. Nice beds, comfy pillows, lots of lighting options in room (although no option to simply have bedside reading lamp on without other lights on.)

Sadly the basics don't work reliably: some rooms smelt damp, occasional power cuts, wifi was unreliable, and dropped out multiple times, hot water comes and goes, electric items in rooms don't always work, and so on and so on.

It looked like many of the other guests were attending functions, which meant they went to bed late. The hotel corridors are marble and echoey which means when other guests decided to have a chat in the corridor, or sing, or conduct mobile phone calls, or slam doors, you really can hear it in your room.

Speaking of noise, the incessant booming music from the many, many speakers all around the resort destroys any feeling of tranquility and relaxation. The loud music is everywhere, wherever you go to get some quiet time: the gardens, the pool, the temple, breakfast, inside the restaurant – literally everywhere. We had to shout over it when talking at meal times, and even if you ask the staff to turn it down, it just goes back up again later.

I loved so much about the hotel, it has some brilliant aspects, and the staff were so lovely (thank you!) but I doubt I shall stay again.

Yesterday we had roka ceremony of my brother in this pathetic resort. It was the worst experience one can have! All snacks served were freezing cold, after complaining multiple times they did not even bothered. Guest kept waiting for coffee for atleast an hour.
All the staff were untrained and especially the Manager was abusive at the end of the event, he didn’t even let me have dinner in the end, saying that”your function timing is over, ai won’t give you plate for having food” . Ultimately he became abusive and started shouting in the function, which became so embarrassing in front of guests.
Management of this resort is full of arrogance, hate, anger, they are a big zero in hospitality.
They are running this resort out of luck!
So I would not suggest anyone to go in this resort and get insulted after paying hefty amount for their rooms and funcions/events.

During a 2 week Indian Holiday we stayed in many great hotels and our tradition is the last night just before our long flight home we splash out and stay in a luxury hotel to relax and end our holiday on a high.

I was so excited to stay here as i'm a huge architecture fan and this hotel really appealed to me and on that front I was not disappointed.

The Hotel is truly a work of art it's lush surroundings are tranquil and the lakes and features are truly amazing, it's very good for a good picture.

Sadly this is where it ended, upon arrival we didn't feel very welcomed the guy was quite rude and despite there being fudges and things on the desk we weren't offered anything, not what you expect at a luxury hotel.

The room was stunning, very large with a nice view, however it was a bit dated there were marks on the floor and the gadgets like electric blinds were slow to operate.

We decided to go for a drink at the bar, which is truly stunning.
We ordered a Gin and Tonic, at first the waitress gave us whisky but eventually gave us the right drink, at £9.50 it was a realistic price for a luxury hotel however she asked us if we wanted small or large, little did we know we should have just said small.

We said large and ordered 4, when the bill came it was £99, we were shocked, in asking for large the crafty waitress charged us double so even though we had 4 drinks she actually charged us for 8.

Reluctantly we went for dinner, the space was beautiful a large tent like structure with stunning views and high quality bar.
We ordered a starter to share and 2 mains, we'd not even finished the starter and the waitress brought out our mains, no clean cutlery and my partner was actually served his on the same plate, this is truly shocked for a luxury hotel and incredibly rude.

The food was good, my sea bass though costing £33 it was amazing but we felt incredibly rushed and uncomfortable so we didn't stay for more.

There was a 50th birthday happening at the hotel and though it was nice to see the decorations the noise was unbearable.

Check out was another uncomfortable experience, we got told to sit and wait for them to check the room, after waiting for 10 minutes and feeling like criminals we were told it was fine and we could leave.

I have never been so let down by a hotel in my life, I was so excited to stay here and I would never return, it truly is style over substance.
This is what we frequently find in high end luxury hotels in India, they may look nice but the service is definitely more 1 star than 5 star.

The resort itself is as amazing as it sounds. The greenry the forestry and the ambience that it is surrounded with is just next to fabulous, I’d say. I have never been to such a beautiful property in Delhi/NCR. It is one kind of a property, I must say.
The next thing that I would like to highlight is the training that they give to the employees here, each and every employee is so trained and polite. Starting from the reception, heena ma’am welcomed us with a refreshing coconut water, yes you heard that right, A legit coconut water. They serve coconut water to each and every guest. Next, I asked her for the room upgrade, without hesitation or should I say without I requesting her like in other properties. Heena mam upgraded the room and the room was so so so so spacious and so beautiful. The bath tub was inside the room, how romantic it is! Just a pleasure staying in the room. Next the tambola session, Heena had organized the tambola session and there were many people, I got to network with other people on the table as well. The prizes the management decides also make sense, A free dessert along with the dinner, I mean who will not have a dessert after dinner and it’s a cherry on top to be free. The mocktails were also part of the prize. Thank you for arranging such a beautiful and enjoyable tambola session and kudos to heena! We had an unforgettable time in the roseate, will cherish the memories.

I was very excited to visit The Roseate and ambience of the hotel didn’t disappoint either. Check in was swift and friendly. Rishabh was a great host and made me feel instantly at home. All this experience took a fall when I arrived at the restaurant for my dinner. My presence was totally ignored by the restaurant staff and hostess including the manager himself. After being patiently waiting for 15 minutes I was successful in getting the attention of a female server who made me sit on a unset table. Again I had to be seated for next 20 minutes and raise my hand and look around to get service from a staff. The time spent also allowed me to have a look at the restaurant operation. I noticed that restaurant was busy and most of the tables were occupied by expatriate walk in guests (I didn’t see them for breakfast next morning) and there was the attention of the restaurant staffs. I noticed two other guests complaining about service and other issues. Long story cut short after all the delays I got my food which was a lamb chops without a steak knife and yes I requested but never got that, no napkins on the table, no bread rolls and list can go on. I ordered a desert, Tiramisu and one female staff explained that it was not charged to me because my food was delayed, well which is totally wrong because there were other major issues from my arrival at the restaurant. It could have been a example of exemplary customer care if someone could have explained about the rush at the restaurant and apologised instead of arrogantly making a dessert complimentary like s favour was done upon me. It was nothing less than an insult. After paying 300 USD upwards a night only thing I deserve is a good service. Staffs should be trained to pay attention to in house guests spending a huge sum on their stay instead of just concentrating on walk-in expatriate guests for tips. I was terrified to go for the breakfast next morning but to my surprise it was wonderful and manager on duty was very courteous. Aloo Parantha was my favourite. Staff in general is very polite and helpful. I met horticulture staff in the garden areas and they were very polite in explaining on how they maintain the landscape so well.
