Detailed Reviews
I stayed 4 nights here as part of a tour group. The hotel is a budget tourist hotel. This is not a five star hotel, if this is what you're expecting you will be highly disappointed.
I rate this hotel vey good, as it's excellent value for money. The hotel is in good location, close to Karol Bagh metro (3 stops to Connaught Place), is clean, comfortable; rooms have constant hot water (this is not always readily available in India) and air-conditioning, safe and provides good free wifi. The staff were generally fine, happy to help, but not overly friendly.
If you're looking for a basic, good value, clean, comfortable an safe hotel, i would highly recommend the Hotel Metro View.

Stayed here twice at the start and finish of a tour of Northern India. The first stay I had a room with no window and bedding was stained. Second stay I had a large double room with a window which was much nicer. Wifi is free and excellent. Staff helpful, especially with arranging transport. Would give the hotel breakfast a miss and head to one of the nearby restaurants instead.

Overall a good value for money hotel especially considering the location.
Our first room had a foul smell, but second one was excellent.
Stayed for 2 days and breakfast spread was good.
Kudos to madame lata for helping us plan our day.
Hotel best suited for shopping lovers as its in hub of shops.
WiFi is free and has good range signal.
Access to console was also provided for free but unfortunately it is not with privacy.
Overall a good stay, will recommend to friends for sure.

Hotel is situated in middle of Delhi and walking distance from Delhi subway. rooms are little small but neat and clean. Hotel staff are very helpful, specially Mr Salman he is very polite and professional person. There was some problem started with our room air conditioned during night but it was sorted b hotel staff instantly . so my 5 star rating for their prompt service.

I have stayed in Hotel Metro View for my further journey to Srinagar. I had flight from Delhi to Srinagar next day so i have halt in this hotel a day only with my family of total 4 pax.
Hotel offered me good package with breakfast & extra bed for my stay. Over all my stay was good. My experience is as below ,
1. Budget Hotel. Offered good package with extra bed, breakfast and early check in. as i had my kid 2 yrs old and my mother plus 60 with me and we get down at Delhi little bit earlier then check in time. but they allowed us for early check in.i have appreciated same a lot.
2. Leaved in 2 rooms. First time allotted room was so much small and linkage of water from split AC was their. so we have complained to manager and they have shifted us in another big, cozy room. (little bit question came in mind that why don't they allot us said room first time? but we have consider same a lot. but would like to aware another traveler about same.)
3. Second room was very good, big, cozy bed, good interior, furnished room, good & cleaned bathroom/ toilet, hot water, on second floor, right side corner, back side room. Tea/coffee maker. You can ask for extra coffee/tea pack. they have not hesitated to give.Over all good room.
3. Breakfast was good and sufficient with north, south Indian, american style items.
4. Food was okay but not as remarkable as require. rice was half boiled. we have send return rice bowl to re boiled same and they do the same. Do not expect so much cooperation with staff as they ether charged so much or direct you to go to near by market for same. I have experienced same when my wife requested to staff to make ready to make soup for my kid 2 yrs old, this ages child require their particular food.we were ready to provide them a ready to make soup pack only they have to boil the same for 2-3 min. but they told us it will be charge 100/- to only boil the soup. another i asked them about facility of business center and they told me that it is available. when i go down satire they allot me their booking counter computer. i have little bit uncomfortable with same. after 2-3 min another booking manager came i have seen that he not comfortable with same and little bit disturb so i ask them to availability of cyber cafe near by market and they quickly shown me the route to cyber cafe. I thought if you did not have said facility please be clear with customer about same or fully cooperate to them. I must say that they should keep said facility in their hotel. Next day at complementary breakfast time, when my wife took 1 small uttappa and few small eatable items in tiffing for my kid so she can feed the same to my kid in room because my kid was not in mood of taking breakfast that time. But one serving staff stop to do the same in aggressive mood which is not good sign to react with customer. you should face customer with politely. After convening by another staff he allow to took the food. we are aware about rules of hotel but as humanity shall we measure small infants or kids food or other needs in same.I was very much upset because of these experiences.
5. they have quoted me rs. 800/- for droop to Airport for Indigo AC car with return charges which was very much expensive. requested them to negotiate but were not. so booked Ola car for drop to airport which cost near about rs.400/-.
But overall hotel was good, in budget, good room (if you demand same) because i think some room was small, not well furnished/ maintained so be aware, reachable from metro station. (please do not take pre paid taxi from station. those people have no scenes how to talk with tourist, they will make confused to you. so book professional taxi services like ola, meru. they are looks on time and reasonable.

A very nice hotel, with superb rooms, in a very efficient location! Karol Bagh station is just merely 5mins away. The area has lots to offer - local market, McDonalds, gadget stores, and money changer.
We loved our 3-day stay. The room is elegant. Bed, pillows, and comforters are clean! Bathroom is amazing. They never fail to clean our room as replace the towels. WiFi is strong. Breakfast buffet varies everyday. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel five separate times over a six week period. This is because I travelled to different states and cities around India over eight weeks and Delhi/Hotel Metro View was my central point where I would return and then leave for another part of India. Three times I stayed for one night and twice I stayed two nights.
I was given a different room on each occasion and my first night there I got the best room out of all my stays at the Metro. King size bed very spacious room with two chairs and a table. The bathroom was very nice with a shower only. The room has a very modern look which is quite appealing. The showers have an overhead shower head which I'm not keen on so I asked for a bucket which I had come accustomed to in India. This is the only hotel out of all the hotels I stayed in India that didn't include buckets in the bathroom and I stayed in a few. All other rooms I stayed in over those weeks were smaller versions of the first room including the bathroom and without the extra chairs or table. In a couple it was that small I had trouble getting out of one side of the bed because there was very little space between the bed and the wall. The lighting the flat screen tv including fan and AC were great in every room and of course I found the beds to be very comfortable. There can be some outside noise from local businesses that sell and install car audio but that didn't put me off at all.
Breakfast was included and it's very basic. My first stay they had to make the toast in a sandwich maker but on my return a couple of weeks later they had invested in a real commercial toaster that most hotels have. They will cook an omelette on request. That's my only experience if the food as I ate out for dinner. Their restaurant is open 24 hours.
To the staff. I must give special mention to several people Alok - Front Office, Tulsi - House Keeping and Prakash - Food & Beverage whom I found to be very very helpful and courteous. I'm certain all staff are just the same.
Overall I found the Hotel Metro View to be an excellent hotel with a modern look. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again given the opportunity.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights while travelling around Northern India with my 2 friends.
The hotel was easy to find and the staff at the front were very friendly and nice.
The room itself was very clean and tidy, as was the bathroom.
We had a few issues with the shower, there wasn't much hot water and most the days it was either cold or luke warm.
We had breakfast there once, and did not venture there again.
The tea had bits in it, and the milk was off.
We had room service on a couple of nights and that wasn't too bad. We only had chips though (fries).
The best thing about the hotel is the short walk to Karol Bagh Metro station, go out the hotel take a right to the main road and then left to the station. Probably a 6-7 minute walk at most!
I'd stay here again as the price is brilliant for a budget hotel, the issues with the food can easily be addressed seeing as you're near a metro station and right next to Karol Bagh itself!

Was apprehensive at first of living in karol baug, but this hotel smashed all those apprehensions.
First the service is fantastic , the front desk , the bell boys , the room service and the housekeeping
Try and get room 301/302 it has a huge window with a unobstructed view of the metro.
The room service does a amazing butter chicken / tandoori chicken. Like proper delhi food
I was pleasantly surprised that they also do good Indian Chinese. Just ask if the head chef is around, he will customize the meal to your taste buds.
The hotel even has a car w/ driver who will take you around delhi , highly recommend you use Ajay.
I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this to anyone who comes in looking for a good clean hotel with fantastic food and service.
Special mention to Amit ( front desk ) and Lok Nath ji (bell desk ) who made me feel at home.
