We looked for a place for one night before our flight back home, and this place was perfect for our needs. This area is the one of the top areas in New Delhi... forget about all the littering and the noise from the main bazar area. You can find fancy restaurants and shops in a 5 minute distance walk. The rooms were really clean and well designed. The breakfast was really good too. I admit the main disadvantage for us was that this place cost us 3 times the budget we used to spend on Guesthouses in India.
The most friendly place we stayed. A wonderful easy retreat from the hectic streets of Dehli. Great breakfast. All meals cooked to order by Moses the in house chef. Clean, hot showers. Bit hard to find.
It was a really good hostel, with nice and friendly staff, clean room, good kitchen and good WiFi. They seem to have a really ecologic and good way of thinking, and also provide extra services like washing help with taxi, map of Delhi, etc. All in all very helpful!
This is a great place to stay, especially if it's your first visit to India. The rooms are basic but clean and everything works. Many of the rooms are en-suite with modern a/c units and the bathrooms are, again, basic but decent. The beds are comfy. There are also premium rooms which are bigger but along the same lines. The wifi is free, you don't have to sign into anything, and it works pretty well with decent bandwidth. The reception staff are friendly and laid-back, speak excellent English, and have worked for NGOs so deal easily with people from overseas. Guests are mainly Western travellers mixed with mostly young, hipster Indians travelling in from other cities and there are plenty of communal areas where there's much friendly interaction or you can sit quietly and get…
I spent 5 nights at the bed and Chai, and it was the best decision to stay there. I was in a bigger room with a private bathroom, everything was clean and the bed was super comfortable, was nice and quiet in the room. The staff were super helpful in booking the day train to Agra, and also helping sort out other arrangements that i needed. location is not central to most monuments but easily accessible via Uber or metro. When im back in Delhi, this will be my first option to stay.
