My first visit to India, New Delhi. It was the tremendous reviews by other travelers that convinced me to book my stay here. Great location with very well kept infrastructure and maintenance of the place. The yellow and white colors makes a very big difference in the vibes. Brightens up the mood. Lovely restaurant /Cafe. Love the framed pictures adds character to the nook. I have recommended the place to my other colleagues which resulted in them checking out from their other accommodations and booked into Bloomrooms@ Link Road.
Bloomrooms@LinkRoad is a fantastic property around 5 mins walk from Jangpura Metro Station. The property is hard to find initially as its next to a flyover. The Area actually is a good locality except the 2 mins walk from under the flyover till the hotel property. Book a cab or rickshaw in advance as it takes time for them to reach the property. The rates are decent for the small rooms. The check in is good. No elevator. The property is very well maintained. The rooms are small but well maintained and cleaned every day. Comfortable stay overall and i would definitely stay there again. They might have to look at the pricing though. If compared to some of the hotels in Connaught Place, people will always prefer CP over Jangpura. Their Janpath property is also very expensive for the rooms they offer. If they change their pricing structure, theres no place like it for a single traveller in town for business for 2-3 days.…
We stayed here with a group of university students from Germany and could not have chosen a better option. Everything was 100% clean and nice. We could have as much drinking water as we wanted (important for Europeans who cant drink tip water in India). The breakfast was nice, the students enjoyed the freshmade pancakes a lot and the coffee was excellent. In the evenings, we enjoyed to sit in the garden. In the morning we used the taxiservice recommened by the hotel and were satisfied as well. Outstanding was the 24h friendliness of the staff. I'll come back.
- Good, clean hotel. It’s no longer as new and shiny as it seems in the photos. However, a reasonably decently maintained property. Stayed in room 009 on Ground floor. Extremely weak / non existent 4G signal for cellular. Their WiFi is very strong though and is helpful. The front office staff are very cordial and helpful. Got nice peaceful sleep as there was hardly any noise through the night. In the morning though, you may get woken up by neighboring rooms / people in lobby as room walls seem quite porous. They give you 2 complementary bottles of water and have a water dispenser on the GR Fl lobby where you can refill your bottle. They can also give additional bottles on request. - Bloom cafe: Good, decent breakfast- had the aloo paratha, papaya & cereals - quite good. The staff there (Birendra) is esp very helpful. - I had gone for the Delhi marathon (and there were several other runners similarly who had come for the marathon). It’s close to JLN stadium - 15 mins walk to Gate 10, takes longer to Gate 1; On the day of the marathon, we left around 3 am and they had kept water bottles and bananas for all runners - very nice gesture! - Overall a wonderful experience for the purpose that I visited.…
Loved the property a lot, specially the hospitality. I was a little skeptical if the property would be as fun and pretty as it looked in the images but suffice to say that it surpassed my expectations. The room was super comfy and I loved the way they have utilized the space in a minimalistic yet trendy manner. There was ample open space to take a stroll, had a nice little cafe as well as a super cosy lounge area with a beautiful interior. Also, the location was amazing which was quite a discovery for me. Major spots like Lodi garden, India gate, CP, GK-1, Khan market etc. were all within 10-20 mins. radius (by cab).
Hotel is clean, location good near to lagpat nagar, friendly staff, Nice ambiance, limited food option. Humayu tomb, lotus temple and india gate is near by from the hotel. Over all value for money hotel in south delhi.
First time at this hotel. Chose this hotel for the proximity to work. Location is great with most of the historical place close by and shopping markets too. Here is the detailed feedback for the 2 nights Pre Arrival ************** Booked through Make My Trip. Had categorically mentioned my preferences. One of them was not selecting the smoking room option. Hence, by default the Non-Smoking room should have been offered. Upon Arrival at the hotel, I requested the Reception team to show me the room first. As I walked in to the room a whiff of cigarette smoke was smelt straight away. I had to communicate once again that I require a Non-Smoking Room The same was offered in some time. Day 1 & 2 ************** Day 1 - Food - Breakfast Experience (chargeable) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A fixed menu was available with options of Cornflakes or Muesli, Juice. Tea OR Coffee, Eggs were to be served with Grilled or pan roasted tomato, Slice of Soft or toasted bread, South Indian Idli with Chutney, Potato Paratha, Poha OR Puri Sabji OR Upma and 2 more options. From the above, the menu became even more limited: - No Coffee - Eggs without grilled or pan roasted tomato - From the Poha OR Puri Sabji, OR Upma and 2 more options. Only Upma was available. - No Chutney with Idli Besides the above, Ordered Muesli with hot milk. The chef heated the milk in mini jug which gave out a burn smell, thus, adding that smell to the milk which spoilt the taste. Day 1 - Food - Dinner --------------------------------- Ordered Vegetarian Pulao with Raita When the food came to the room, the steward missed out on the Raita. Hence, had to wait 10 minutes for the Raita to come along with one more round of Vegetarian Pulao with compliments. Day 1 - Room -------------------- Room was cosy and good enough to sleep comfortably with all the basic comforts. Felt the need for ventilation. As there is a window but it cannot be opened. Day 2 - Breakfast --------------------------- Ordered for Idli Sambar and Poha Sambar was overly spicy with strong taste of some unknown spices. When asked how was the Sambar made. The steward said they used ready made Sambar Masala from the market and didn't make it fresh. Could eat it, apologies for not eating the food. The Poha was not tasty at all and was semi hard to eat. Had to ask for a simple Potato Paratha with curd to fill the stomach. Day 2 - Dinner ----------------------- Had Paneer Makhani with Cumin Rice. The gravy was surprisingly spicy with no sweetness. Tasted more like Paneer Kadhai which is normally spicy. General Feedback *************************** The hotel has a process in place where once the meal or any kind of paid service at the hotel is used payment is to be done immediately. Not being used to this. When the dinner on the first day came to the room. The steward immediately asked me to clear the bill. I had to tell him. Can I have the food first and than pay. As I am going to be here for 2 days. Nonetheless, I did receive a reminder email with the payment link 1 hours later to clear the amount. From there on all payments were cleared immediately after meal consumption. The meal options at the hotel are very limited. Main course has only 7-8 combo dishes. Option to order from Swiggy or Zomato is also available. The hot water in the shower was not really hot. Was rather luke warm or less. Especially when you are in a city which has extreme weather conditions, especially winter. The team ought to make sure all rooms get their hot water. I would recommend this hotel for the sheer good location but service standards and processes requires a lot of improvement.…
It's already been 10 years since I got to know Bloomrooms. The first place I visited 10 years ago was Bloomrooms@Link Road, and it felt new when I went again. We saw the need to renew the facility a little. If you repair it for cleanliness, it will be a very happy trip for guests visiting this place.
