I stayed only one night on this hotel. The room was big but old fashioned. Almost all furniture needed reparations or replacement. Air conditioning in the room but I didn’t try to make it work, as the machine was old and looking so dirty that I was afraid of touching it. Bed linen that wasn’t white anymore.. Brownish colour especially in the middle. No towels in the room when I arrived, asked to staff to bring some. They came but as the bed linen, looking very dirty.
This is located 1.5 km away from New Delhi railway station towards chunna mandi on nalwa street. The room is spacious and air conditioned. The service provided by the hotel staff is also decent. You can either opt for food at the hotel or eat outside. The only thing missing is network connectivity from Airtel and Vodafone. So carrying BSNL or Jio maybe helpful.
Far enough away but still close enough to the hustle and bustle of Pahar Ganj. This is a great hotel to stay. Stayed here s few times over the last few years. Never disappointed. Good service, helpful with arranging tickets and taxis.
I am not one for leaving negative reviews but we had such a bad experience here that others should know about. When we arrived we were told that we would see two rooms and would choose between the two (weird in itself as I just wanted the room we booked on booking.com and told the manager this but he insisted we see two rooms). We were then led to two rooms on the first floor and both were filthy: dirty walls, ripped mattresses and old dirty fleeces for sheets. Nothing at all like we'd booked. I then went back down to the manager and said it was dirty and that we wanted to leave, he then persistently said we could see a better room on the second floor. Basically, he wanted to get more money from us by forcing us to upgrade, even though the fee we pay was for the room he was upgrading us to. This was not a cheap room in Delhi (1,500 rupees). I had to tell him four times we were leaving whilst he had our passports in our hands, before giving them back to us. We left with nowhere else booked. I see from reviews here that this is not the first time this has happened. The hotel is also in a horrible part of town. Do not book this hotel.…
When I visit my friend in this hotel. staff ask me "who I am?" and my friend answer I am his friend. Staff stop me in lobby and didn't let me come to my friend room. hell no way! this hotel has lobby and place to sitting in lobby, but He take us to laundry warehouse! we sitting surrounded blanket, bed linen, towel etc. looks like we are mice! Weird hotel ever! location also hard to Find, quiet but Far from main Road.
The location was nice as it was slightly off the hustle and bustle of the main road of Paharganj. The twin bedroom was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was clean too. For the price we paid (around 1000 rupees), we were very satisfied.
We found it by a random taxi driver, who might get some tips from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and the manager (I stayed there in 2012) was exceptionally gentle. He helped us in planning travels and also gave us fair warning about a number of issues (especially how to handle touts and brokers) which came in real handy. We booked a cheap room so no complain on the amenities, though it was a bit narrow. Good place for stay if you are tight on budget.
Pickup service from airport or train station. Rooms are good for the price. Friendly and helpful staff, really nothing to complain. Situated close to Metro station. Will go there again next time visiting Delhi, thats for sure.
We were 3 friends on a holiday trip to delhi.. Booked room through goibibo app.. 1600 waala super deluxe room we got it for just 500 because we had an offer of one free night stay.. That 500 was also charged only because we had a third person extra.. Room was toh extra ordinary.. We had all good experience with decent infrastructure.. Meet this guy "Shoaib (manager)", who suggested and helped us in every way.. If u r visiting Delhi Alone / with friends / with family.. I suggest u this awesome place to check in.. Silver is the group of hotels where India international is one among them..
I booked a room to stay in India Internation Hotel Pahargaj New Delhi during Aug 2015. when I reached at the reception, the staff enquired like a cop from me. They checked all my i cards etc and then started asking very private questions. After that they started checking our all personal documents to verify our statements. It was very awkward. I am govt servant officer (myself working in Govt Security agency) I shown my i card etc but they refuse to allow me stay there even after they confirmed the booking of room telephonically. It was very much disgusting and my female relative was feeling very much insulted on such behavior by hotel staff. I talked to local police station telephonically about validity of such behavior by this hotel staff, and they suggested me that hotel staff attitude was not proper and they need to just confirm ID proof and not more than that. Unprofessional attitude. DO I need to check in only to 5 star hotel to avoid such incident?…
