totally messed up reception. even the managers are in disconnect and disrespectful. my niece lost her facial cleanser and complained to the management. Ujjawal came to her and questioned as though she was lying.....we will like to search your luggage in your presence [which meant she must have hidden it in her bags]......we have to go to the other 3 rooms [we were family who ad booked 4 rooms] and search their bags [implying that she had hidden a bottle of cleanser in one of the other rooms]. he never came back to her again

The Hyatt Regency is located in the heart of South Delhi and super convenient to access the major malls and shopping places around.
I had an an amazing experience. Special thanks to the hospitality provided by Mr. Rishi PreetSingh who made sure our stay was super comfortable. They humbly upgraded us to one of their newly renovated suites to further better our experience.
They were very well equipped to fight the Covid situation with sanitizer machines implemented at all the key areas and you need your arogya setu app to be installed just to enter the hotel, which is a very effective move.
All rooms have Hyatt bags which include all your amenities and a handy portable sanitizer tube and even a mask! Very thoughtful!

The excellent, amazing, attentive, friendly, helpful staff always recognises and greets me by name and remembers my preferences. It is like coming to my second home.

The service is very spotty, some staff were nice others I felt like I was being scolded for asking questions. I was confused about the Hyatt membership and how the breakfast would be charged since the pricing structure was not transparent at all. When I asked for extra amenities like the drinking water bottles it just never came or half of it came and I had to ask again. They were accommodating for late checkout and also hand luggage storage for up to 1 month which was nice since we left the hotel for Aurangabad in between stays.
The facilities are a little outdated but serviceable. I stayed in two room. The first was not fully stocked and and the bathroom side door was broken, hair dryer was broken also. While the second room was a lot better maintained. They seem to still use outdated system with pen and paper and we needed to reconfirm when we used something for example like when we had breakfast. Small details like the lack of hand towels or even drying machine in the lobby washroom is odd. You just have to use have wet hands or dry you hand with thin paper handkerchief.
I stayed here for 6 nights and experienced both when it was empty and full of people. It’s pretty chaotic when it’s in full swing and the service takes quite a nose dive.
I think the breakfast is worth it. Note that the charges are variable and depends on the day, I didn’t know till the end of my stay.

It was my solo trip to Delhi and I had booked this hotel for 4 nights via booking.com. I always prefer to book Hyatt hotels for accommodation based on my previous experiences but this time I was little disappointed by the attitude of the staffs at the reception desk. When I reached hotel to check in, I realized that my booking was for a month later by mistake. I didn't realize my mistake until I reached the hotel and when the staff at the reception pointed that out. I requested them to find me a room as it would be difficult to book a hotel room in a city, I have been for the first time. However, the staff simply ignored my situation and said that all the rooms are sold out. They didn't even propose any solution or shown any empathy towards me. Interestingly the staff seemed newbies at the desk and they didn't bother to consult my situation with anyone. At that moment, I just thought to search for hotels nearby and found the exact room available for the current date (which I had booked for a month later) with just 2K extra for total 4 nights in booking.com
I immediately cancelled the older booking and booked the same room for the new dates. After 30 minutes I was able to finally get the room and take some rest after a early morning long haul flight. I felt I was stereotyped and probably a person paying in dollars would have got more attention in this case.
However, other than this experience, overall property is really good in terms of facilities and its location. Service quality needs to be improved a lot and the responses/behavior from staffs were very inconsistent. They definitely treat international and domestic visitors differently.
Rooms were clean and noise free however you don't get a good view of outside except few surrounding buildings unless you got a pool facing room. The Cafe restaurant used to be extremely crowded during breakfast time as it wasn't spacious. So I don't have anything really good to say about this stay compared to any other Hyatt Hotel I had stayed. Lot of areas to improve for sure.

This was my first time staying in a 5 star hotel and it was a very lovely experience, however we did find it hard to get used to this level of service and the attention from staff.
The hotel was very accommodating and even offered an upgrade for one of our rooms. They were very good in helping us organise our day trips out, the taxi drivers were very calm and expert when driving in the chaos that is New Delhi traffic.
Our rooms were cleaned to a great standard and most of the staff lived up to the 5 star reputation.
However, a couple of staff members had trouble understanding what we were trying to explain to them which caused us a bit of trouble. When we arrived, the staff member took us straight to one of the rooms, skipping the reception check in, we were very confused but in the room she checked us in. The problems arose when we were checking in, we had to provisionally pay for the rooms and were handed our rooms cards but when we went to the rooms we found the staff member got then all wrong and ended up provisionally paying for each other's rooms, that were different prices.
We rectified the room situation ourselves and I was able to sort the correct payments at check out at the reception desk. It was a bit of an unnecessary hassle but didn't put a dampner on our experience.

This year has not been so good for the hospitality industry worldwide to say the least, and, many establishments and businesses had to be shut down because of the ongoing pandemic.
But, thankfully, Hyatt is not one of them. Hyatt hotel has been one of the hotels that embraced the challenge and rose to the occasion and made sure that all the safety procedures were in place to continue successful operations during the ongoing pandemic.
Hyatt hotel and especially the Front Office team at the Bhikaji Cama Place location in New Delhi has been extremely professional and decisive in dealing with the new challenges under the able leadership and guidance of their Front Office Manager “Ujjawal.”
Like a true leader, Ujjawal has always led the way for the staff as well as the guests when it comes to dealing with the ongoing and all other challenges that have confronted the hotel. Nothing escapes the “eagle eye” of Ujjawal and as a result whenever he is on the floor, you will notice an extra attentiveness by everyone in all the departments because they know and understand that Ujjawal sets the bar at the highest level and expects everyone to do the same too.
Ujjawal and Hyatt hotels together have ensured that all the necessary precautions and procedures are adhered to, and, the hotel is safe for everyone visiting. Be it the initial screening of the guests at the gate or the new modified check-in and check-out procedures, temporary closure of the pool, or the new breakfast and meal procedures in the restaurants, Ujjawal and Hyatt hotel has shown their zeal and professionalism in executing all the necessary steps.
Ujjawal has again gone above and beyond by providing real-time updates on what is happening at the hotel and kept all the regular guests like me abreast of all the new procedures and development. He has again hit it “out of the park” with his exemplary customer service skills.
Because of Ujjawal’s and Hyatt hotel’s commitment towards the safety of the guests and it’s employees, I feel confident and safe in start visiting this establishment once my trips to India resume.
But, thankfully, Hyatt is not one of them. Hyatt hotel has been one of the hotels that embraced the challenge and rose to the occasion and made sure that all the safety procedures were in place to continue successful operations during the ongoing pandemic.
Hyatt hotel and especially the Front Office team at the Bhikaji Cama Place location in New Delhi has been extremely professional and decisive in dealing with the new challenges under the able leadership and guidance of their Front Office Manager “Ujjawal.”
Like a true leader, Ujjawal has always led the way for the staff as well as the guests when it comes to dealing with the ongoing and all other challenges that have confronted the hotel. Ujjawal and Hyatt hotels together have ensured that all the necessary precautions and procedures are adhered to, and, the hotel is safe for everyone visiting. Be it the initial screening of the guests at the gate or the new modified check-in and check-out procedures, temporary closure of the pool, or the new breakfast and meal procedures in the restaurants, Ujjawal and Hyatt hotel has shown their zeal and professionalism in executing all the necessary steps.
Ujjawal has again gone above and beyond by providing real-time updates on what is happening at the hotel and kept all the regular guests like me abreast of all the new procedures and development. He has again hit it “out of the park” with his exemplary customer service skills.
Because of Ujjawal’s and Hyatt hotel’s commitment towards the safety of the guests and it’s employees, I feel confident and safe in start visiting this establishment once my trips to India resume.

I recently spent a night at Hyatt. This review is coming from someone who travels around the world often and understands what basic standards should be upheld by any hotel chain. My experience was no less than excellent. From check in to check out, the staff anticipated my every need. My room was impeccably clean. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning, which had everything from fresh juice, authentic Indian food to delectable desserts. The manager, Ujjawal, took the time to greet us upon arrival, which was a nice extra touch. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying the New Delhi. You will not leave disappointed!

My family and I visited the hotel on a family trip to India. I have many food intolerances (gluten free, dairy free, sugar free etc) so it was important for us to find a comfortable stay with access to clean food. I was so happy that the team at the hotel was able to accommodate all needs. We had access to the lounge which was very helpful for breakfast. I asked for items that weren’t available in the lounge due to food intolerances and they were quick to help! The fresh beat juice was amazing!
