There are not enough good words to say about the Oberoi New Delhi! It is EXCELLENT! We spent two weeks at the hotel and we were blown away by the accommodations, food and service. We traveled with our toddler and the hotel did an excellent job of meeting his and our needs. We did not want to leave!!! We had the most amazing meals and we were blown away by the Christmas day Santa and breath-taking buffet! The staff went above and beyond and got to know our family but also maintained professionalism.
Dear Mr Jay Rathore, This is just to let you know how wonderful our New Year staycation has been @ The Oberoi, Delhi. It would be very unfair if I just give a generic short one liner feedback as there was so much done for us. To tell you and anyone reading this review by me, we had planned our one night stay @ The Oberoi, Delhi to mark the beginning of New Year 2021 in a special way, for our 3 Year old boy, Ranvit. Amidst the pandemic situation, we knew a short staycation would be something he would definitely enjoy as he is really fond of Hotels and Chefs. We knew that we will have a great experience as we were going for the top rated Hotel chain but we experienced something way beyond our expectations this time and that is what got me to write this feedback without a miss. Right from the start, where Ranvit was welcomed in the most prestigious way during Check-in by the Front Desk Management, who then handed over to him his personal key to access the room and then taken to his room by them just to surprise him with a wonderful balloon decor done in the room. Followed by Surprise Goodies and the welcome Cake. Big big thanks to Mr. Ibrahim and Ms. Sonya who could manage to pamper our child to the extent that he couldn’t see them go when they were off from their duty and wanted them to stay in the hotel. Luxury can definitely be experienced in a lot many ways but really short of words to thank both of them for the way they blessed Ranvit with the most special care and love. Ranvit insisted Ms. Sonya to play with him with his toys, and she was kind enough to give her good hour of working time to Ranvit just to play with him & make him happy. Mr. Ibrahim arranged a Baking session for Ranvit with Chef Bhumitra & Chef Mamta. One of the most beautiful memorable start of year for a little kid who pretends to be a Chef. He had an amazing time making cookies and decorating cupcakes and donuts with Chef Bhumitra and Chef Mamta. Another jolly person from your team, Mr. Jaman, knows it best to how to make kids happy. He managed to surprise Ranvit with toys which Ranvit really loved. Special one being the last one handed over to him just when we were departing from the hotel. Ranvit’s request of seeing the working of the X-Ray machine for Baggage checking was all fulfilled by Mr. Aditya. Thank you Mr. Aditya. A lot many incidences to note. But, would just brief about one last with Mr. Sagar. Just like other kids, Ranvit asked us if he could play the piano since he has an interest in musical instruments as well. We didn’t let him do it and told him to ask the Hotel Management. He actually went and asked Mr. Sagar. It was unlikely that he would have said yes to a 3 year old but he was like I am not able to say no for the way he has asked me. So, he accompanied us to let Ranvit play it for a little while. Please know we made him touch and play it under discipline. :) It might not be a big thing but surely something that made Ranvit super happy. Not to forget his all time favourite “Egg Fried Rice” dish from your 360 Restaurant, its that single dish which he asks me time and again to prepare at home just the same way. :) Each and everyone of you at The Oberoi, has made our New Year staycation soo soo special for Ranvit and for us, that its etched in our memory for life. No one could have spoilt Ranvit better with their pampering this way. A big big heartfelt Thanks for making this beautiful and memorable start to our year! Warmest Regards, Ranvit’s Mother P.S.: There would be more video reels of his wonderful stay coming on Ranvit’s Instagram handle ranvit_soon.…
My partner and I booked the Oberoi New Delhi for Christmas which coincides with an anniversary. I called the hotel and told them about our special occasion, and they went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Nabeel and Anand went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was comfortable and pleasurable. This is the only place I would stay in the time of COVID, as I wanted to be sure of the safety precautions that were being taken. Everyone wore masks and everything was sanitized. We ate lunch at the restaurant Baoshuan, which had the best Chinese we've ever had. We wanted to get a spa done, but were nervous about safety protocols. We needn't have worried. The staff took all safety precautions and told us they stay on the property and get routine Covid tests so we were in safe hands. The spa experience itself was so relaxing (we got a Balinese massage). The rooms themselves are spacious and beautiful, with a stunning view, and great smart features like everything being controlled by the iPad. The morning breakfast was great as well-- the berry smoothie has been my favourite for 10 years! I couldn't have asked for a better stay. This is the only hotel I'd stay in a pandemic, and I will be visiting again very soon. …
Travelled as a family with 1 child. Delhi was a short 1 night stopover on our way to Jabalpur - to visit the wildlife parks of Panna and Bandhavgarh. Oberoi had a good promotion running that included 60min spa for 2 and discounts on F&B. We chose the hotel for 2 reasons : 1. We wanted to do a spa at a reputed hotel considering the times 2. Oberoi hospitality. Key highlights: 1. We avaied the airport transfers (chargeable) with Mercedes - very efficient and comfortable. 2. Greeted warmly and our son was offered a toy which was great as he played with it all through the stay. 3. Availed the spa - I had a 2 hour session and wife had 1 session. Extremely good and highly recommended. 4. Room service food and dinner at the 360 restaurant were good - not exceptional, but good quality; though pricey. 5. Took our son for a baking class - it was exceptional. Chef Mamta engaged him very well in baking cookies (which were given to him later) and spent almost 30min which our son absolutely enjoyed. Special thanks to Chef Mamta for her time. 6. Vinayak - the Duty Manager was very efficient, made the premium internet complimentary (As the regular internet was too slow and we had some office work to complete). He also entertained our son with couple of more toys during the stay. Front office staff were very good. Special thanks to Drona Rawat from central reservations who did all the bookings seamlessly.…
This 5 stars hotel offers excellent quality service and clean accommodation. Looking forward to our next trip to Delhi and will definitely choose the same hotel again. Their staff are very attentive and consistent in the service rendered.
