Thank you for a pleasant stay! Very grateful to Swara (front-desk) for massively helping out whenever I needed any help at all, and also for the room upgrade! Thank you very much. I'd also like to mention a few other people to whom I'd like to convey my gratitude; Chan, Parshant, and Prem (Capital Kitchen); Manoj, Sanjana and Piyush (In-room dining); Mitralal (housekeeping); Sahil (security - lobby); Anita (Jiva); Cynthia, Anushree, and Sanket (Guest services, check-out desk); and Vikram (porch).
If you are into vintage-looking things and appreciate the old world charm and are willing to compromise on the modern-day amenities then this is the place for you. The service standards of this place have definitely deteriorated if I have to compare it with my previous stays, earlier I loved their hospitality and was willing to overlook the infrastructure but now the service and infrastructure are both at par "DATED". i stayed in a suite on the 3rd floor and had to walk down to reception for letting them know that the telephones in my room do not work (there were 5 phone units in the room ) none worked. The next surprise was the bathrooms (2 in the suite) the Tub in the bathroom would be as old as the property itself with scratches and marks all over the second bathroom which did not have a tub and had a basic design flaw where the water would spill all over the bathroom while showering and you would have to request housekeeping for draining the water off from the floor. There were 2 TVs in my suite, 32inch in the living area and approx 40inch in the room. both at least 15years old with no modern day connectivity. the size of TVs did not justify the size of the room. Food was average.…
Visited Capital Kitchen along wirh family and indulged in the delicious buffet at lunch time. All dishes especially the desserts were very flavourful and inviting. Further, we received excellent service by Parshant who took extra care to ensure that we are seated and served well. Parshant seems to be a true brand ambassador of Taj Palace! Overall a lovely and memorable experience :)
great food, great staff..keep it up, they did have a problem getting my luggage from concierge to my cab at checkout, eventually i searched and got it out myself, but no big deal...it was a busy weekend
Bad stay felt like very expensive oyo room(talking about one with queen bed room) I spent 12.5k for that.in starting they asked 10200 after visiting they added tax which make it 12.5k. At that time i have to pay. Even after including meals they didn’t serve in room dining for dinner which they used to do.
Taj Palace, Chanakyapuri is not accepting vouchers provided by its partners. This is a bummer especially when other Taj properties are doing that. As always, Check in is always slow. Waiting chairs for people in queue of check in are always few in number. Speakers are dated, no bluetooth connection.
I and my wife stayed at the Taj Palace Delhi from 10th May for three nights. This was our second stay at Taj Palace and we were really very happy with everything. Our Check in was seamless and we were provided a room of our choice with a good view . The front office was very receptive and helpful The duty Manager Mr Banerjee very affable . In room dining provided excellent service and Ms Romita ensured great care forvour choices . Housekeeping was extremely helpful..Mr Gopal extended special services to meet smallest requirements. Guest relation managed very efficiently by Ms.Dipansha , every need was just a phone call away. The Restaurant Capital Kitchen has a great team . The Managers ..Mr Dixit and Mr Amit were personally supervising all the orders. Parshant ensured all the guests were provided great attention. Ms.Chan was very helpful and provided us and all the guests with seating of choice. The food was great ..especially the breakfast spread and the local cuisine such as Rajma chawal . The Tea lounge provides the ideal atmosphere for formal and social meetings. We were very happy with our stay and the facilities. Shall surely come back and recommend this popular luxury hotel in Delhi , to all our friends and business associates.…
Fabulous experience, within budget. But if u r Indian ask them for Indian facilities in bathroom. Food was awesome. I like it so much. Different experience. I'm loving it. Easy checkin checkout. Room and restaurant service is quick.
Great service, fabulous hospitality, extraordinary hotel. We got ourselves booked for a deluxe category room however the front desk was so courteous enough to give me an upgrade to a Club category room which we totally appreciate the kind of service that Taj Hotels gives as a value to its guests. Do try out restaurants inside the property like Spicy Duck and the Orient Express. My next stay in Delhi, whether it's Business or Lesiure, sure it will be in Taj Palace.
Taj Palace was antique hotel which I met for the first India travel. Since it was my honeymoon, they serve us very good services and kindly check everything for our convenience. Even I arrived there late and departed from there early in the morning, we had very experience. And I'm really sorry that I didn't give some tips to the woman who served us. I can't remember her name. I knew she did her best to make our experience the best. Thank Taj Palace staffs for everything I experienced there and hope I can stay there again.
