At ITC Maurya, a Luxury Collection Hotel in New Delhi, guests have lauded its cleanliness, particularly the well-kept rooms and public spaces, though some breakfast service hiccups were mentioned. Its central location is frequently celebrated for the convenience it brings. While the service has received mixed reviews, with commendations for staff warmth but criticisms of disorganization at peak times, the amenities and atmosphere, including the stunning artwork, are generally admired. However, opinions on room quality and value for money vary, with some guests expecting more for the price.

Don't be Misled by some of the reviews criticizing the "update" if the hotel. It is magnificent with very nice aminities all over the hotel and in the rooms. The hotel is extremely busy and there is always some sort of functions going on (weddings, meetings, etc).

To get into the hotel, you have to scan your bags through a scanner (like the ones at the airport), and there are plenty of security folks around. The check-in desk is always busy. The waiting area and foyer is very large and well decorated with very nice furniture. It can be rather noisy, but you are not likely there very long.

The rooms are nice and up to date. The air conditioner functions worked well and the room temperature was well maintained at a comfortable level. There is a remote next to the bed, and it controls all lighting, the air conditioner, and the television off and on control. The wifi works great and it's free (room number and last name required for access). There was not much of a street view from my side of the hotel, so if that's important to you, be sure to ask the staff at check-in. The shower is really unique, and it's one of those with the water coming out of the ceiling. The room doors are secure with a bolt lock and In-door chain lock. There are plenty of outlets at the desk area as well as next to the bed (on both sides).

They do serve breakfast upstairs and downstairs. The breakfast is pretty good with a lot of variety. The pancakes are perfectly made and the food is all very well cooked. There is plenty of staff there waiting to help you with any of your breakfast needs.

Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends.

We had the most delightful breakfast experience, thanks to the exceptional service from Uttkarsh! From the moment we walked in, Uttkarsh greeted us with a warm smile and ensured that every detail was attended to with care. His attentiveness and genuine hospitality truly elevated our morning.

The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—but it was Uttkarsh’s personalized touch that made the meal unforgettable. He recommended the perfect dishes, remembered our preferences, and checked in just enough to make us feel valued without being intrusive.

If you’re looking for an amazing breakfast with impeccable service, this place, and especially Uttkarsh, is not to be missed. Thank you, Uttkarsh, for starting our day off on such a high note!

Excellent service and accommodations. It’s incredible to have such a peaceful space in the heart of New Delhi. We loved that the site has its own water treatment facility and that they monitor and control the air quality of the building. Highly recommend.

Booked for two nights for a work trip. Arrived around 10pm during an event being hosted on site in the garden area with very loud music. Lobby was sheer chaos. Computer systems were backed up and despite having a Bonvoy Elite check in line, it took almost 30 minutes to check in.

I was upgraded to a room in the back (see photos) - very nice room but a bit dated. Bed was comfortable, water pressure in the shower was nice. Despite being a luxury hotel, they are still relying on small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. There were also a lack of outlets in the room - there was only 1 working outlet at the work desk, which was a bit of an inconveinence.

On the night I arrived we actually met the rest of my group for dinner at the Pavilion restaurant onsite… decent buffet with wide selection of Indian and Western cuisine. Freshly made garlic naan was nice…overall I would give this place a B+. Due to my Titanium status, I selected breakfast - which was served in the same restaurant - decent breakfast selection with omelette station, and fresh juices.

Also onsite is one of the best Indian restaurants in Delhi - Bukhara. It was busy both nights I stayed here - we were going to host clients for dinner here but it was too busy! Maybe next time we’ll try it out.

The gym is well equipped and in the basement of the hotel - had a good selection of cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. I appreciated the fact that it was 24-hours.

Check out was also pretty slow - they REALLY need to upgrade their computer systems.

The one bright spot for service - the evening I was checking out I was tired (early morning flight) and the team at Pavilion was nice enough to give me a complimentary espresso…I mean I had free breakfast but I was happy to pay for the coffee…but the team said: “don’t worry about it!” …That was a nice gesture.

Overall - not a horrible visit but between the slow front desk and the high-bar I would have expected from an establishment such as this, I’d give this place 3 stars considering what I paid ($250+/night) in India!

I recently stayed at the ITC Maurya with my friend, the experience was average at best. The rooms need maintenance- their ACs don't work. Be prepared to sweat. It took three visits and 16 hours for the technician to accept that the AC cannot get repaired and our room was finally changed. The swimming pool was nice but the jacuzzi was not working, again could not be repaired during the course of our stay. The amenities they provide are a favour to you, so doesn't matter whether you get to use them or not.

The breakfast buffet was a mess too, we reached Pavillion for breakfast at 10am and were allotted a table at 10:45am, after a lot of fighting. Their staff is extremely careless and casual, out of the 4 things we ordered we were only served 2 (that too after multiple reminders and follow-ups). We were allotted a table in a haste, staff failed to refill the condiments and jams on the table. For water too, we had to ask the staff twice. Half the buffest dishes were already finished, breakfast was like a scavenger hunt in the leftovers.

The most irritating part is, this hotel charges a premium if you choose to stay on a weekend, yet the service standard does not match. ITC Maurya bites much more than it can chew, they need to say no to guests when they clearly do not have the infrastructure or staff to serve them. You overpay in the name of weekend prices and are taken to be a fool by the ITC team. They have a heavy load of guests every weekend, this was not some unique weekend yet they fail to set up efficient systems and do not live up to the ITC MAURYA HYPE.

Booked a 2-night stay (Dec 13 & 14) at ITC Maurya during my last trip to India.

Went for breakfast (at the Pavilion) in the morning at 9am and was told to wait 10 minutes for a table. After waiting for 20 minutes, I asked how much longer we had to wait and was told to wait another 10 minutes and the table will be ready. After waiting for another 20 minutes (at 9:40am), I inquired again and was told that it will take another 10 minutes but we could go to Ottimo on 9th floor and there is space there.
So off we go to Ottimo and they told us that there is a 20-30 minute wait. They suggested we go to the Executive Lounge (I am a Titanium member so have access). We go to the Executive Lounge on the ground floor and they tell us that they are totally full.

At 10:15am I got a chance to speak to a Manager (that we are trying to get a table for breakfast since 9am and have been to all 3 restaurants, with no luck). He went to the Pavilion Restaurant and asked them to push us in front of the line and we did get a table at 10:25am.

The table was not ready (they were cleaning it and then have to setup the utensils etc) so rather than waiting there, we decided to go grab a juice. All the juice containers were totally empty (see attached picture). OK - so we decided to go grab a coffee while the table was being setup. Well - no cups available for coffee (well actually there was one cup available but it was dirty - see attached picture).

Now there is no juice, no cups for coffee so we decide to grab some fruits. Now we see that there are no plates available (see attached picture).

Tired to flag about 5 waiters in the restaurant to tell them that there was no juice, no coffee cups, no plates etc and everyone was extremely rude. They said 'sorry, you have to wait - we are busy'.

Met with Front Office Manager, Satvik Joshi - to provide him feedback so that they could improve their service and he had zero interest in listening to us. When senior managers are not interested in feedback, I am not surprised that their service levels are so pathetic.

We paid approx $500/night for this type of experience at what we were told was one of the premier hotels in Delhi.

I would absolutely not return there.

The hotel itself is pleasant, but does it offer a truly luxurious experience? Unfortunately, not quite. The only standout feature is its prime location.

Several aspects were disappointing:

I was surprised to find that the shower button in the bathroom was BROKEN, making it impossible to use the shower. This is a basic amenity that any decent hotel should ensure is in working order.

We dined from Bukhara, and while the food was good, it certainly didn’t live up to the immense hype surrounding it.

While the staff was polite, their service lacked a certain level of refinement. It felt like they were just going through the steps instead of offering a smooth, attentive experience.

One particularly super awkward moment occurred when three staff members escorted us to our car, helped with one small single suitcase, and then stood around the car uncomfortably, constantly stating and refusing to leave, while I buckled up—waiting until I tipped all three of them individually. This unnecessary display left a very negative impression.

It’s further perplexing that a purported luxury hotel would risk its reputation by including subpar tea/coffee in the room only to promote ITC FMCG products, such as "Sunbeam Coffee" in the minibar. A budget coffee brand is not what you'd expect in a hotel claiming to offer luxury.

The breakfast buffet at the Pavilion was underwhelming. While the spread appeared decent, the flavors were lackluster, giving it more of a 3-4 star hotel vibe rather than a premium experience.

This stay, along with my previous experiences at ITC, has led me to believe that for the same price range, other options like Taj and Oberoi offer a much more refined and enjoyable experience.

This is not the JW Marriott yet they say they are comparable. To get most things you have to ask 3 times—coffee and yogurt at the breakfast buffet, picking up/delivering dry clean, turning on the sauna, getting a wake up call. At a supposed 4 star hotel I should not have to ask for any of these things more than once. The breakfast buffet is 1/5th the size and food quality is nowhere near that of the JW Marriott. The gym is very small and no place for yoga/stretching unless you are right behind a treadmill. I asked if they could turn on the sauna as I expected to use it in 45 minutes but that was not done. The pool is old as are the loungers. It is self-service (get your own towels) and no bottled water is provided. I called 3 times to get my laundry picked up and again 3 times to have it delivered yet each time they said “on the way”. I have not received a wake-up call yet have asked for one 3 times. There are a lot of workers but no one is in charge hence little gets done that should be done. As a Titanium member it is sad to see all the potential of this property wasted on poor customer service.

We stayed at the ITC Maurya on Dec 11 for 3 nights. We arrived at about 8:30 pm at Delhi Airport and didn’t want to deal with taxis so we asked the hotel to pick us up. Their rep met us just outside customs and helped us with baggage to the car. Check in was smooth and they led us to our room which was fantastic. The room and common areas were spotlessly clean. From then on for the next three days the service was outstanding. Special mention should be made of the concierge service who helped us ship two suitcases to Chennai (avoided huge excess baggage fee on local flights). The concierge, Vikas Kumar, was superb. As soon as I mentioned I wanted to ship the suitcases he immediately called the shipping company and arranged for the pickup in one hour. Three days later he followed up with DTDC, the shipping company, to see where the bags were and called us to let us know that the bags were delivered. He went beyond all expectations of the guest. ITC Maurya has inculcated in all their staff not to show any body language that a tip is expected. Of course, guests should give a generous lumpsum to the common tip box. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned and at least two visits were made by the cleaning staff to make sure the room was clean and beds made. Front desk staff was superb.

Not sure about tower one, they have an ITC One category. The One is much larger with a sitting area, elevated furniture, separated out wardrobe area leading into the bathroom. The view of these rooms is usually comparatively better. There is also butler service but do do double check with the hotel on it.
