The Imperial is a majestic property reflecting the grandeur of the 1930's centrally located in the center of New Delhi. The unique architecture and interior provides a uniquely New Delhi experience as opposed to another big city hotel. The arrival at the hotel can be a little disconcerting. There is significant construction of a new metro station on the arrival...

The Imperial is an incredible hotel. The service is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast at 1911 Cafe is literally the best breakfast I've ever had. The grounds are romantic and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of New Delhi. It's also in a great location, near Connaught Place, the metro, and a fifteen minute walk...

This a fabulous place. The floors in the corridors gleam and are lined with antiques and pictures, including historic sketches. You feel the history even though it's only 80 years old. The service is excellent. Our room was lovely. The food is good, although we wouldn't rate the Spice Route as one of the top 10 in the world as...

This really is a lovely hotel, in immaculate order, rooms are very comfortable if a little short on space. Has the feel of a business hotel. Best breakfast buffet ( slow to serve eggs during busy times) in the whole world, the quality and choice of the food served was most impressive. Service in this hotel was at all times...

Our trip to India started at The Imperial Hotel. Though not as grand (imperial?) as some of the hotels we encountered, it was a great place to recover from the long trip to India. Among its best features: peace and quiet. We arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night, turned around by the time differences and tired...

As with alot of these old/heritage style hotels the rooms are variable, we were unlucky in that we were on the groung floor with little natural light. A pleasant enough hotel, the public spaces are a little cramped nothing outstanding.

This iconic and beautiful hotel is perfectly maintained in every respect. The decor, artifacts, art, furniture and ambiance compliment the history of this gorgeous building. The rooms we stayed on two different visits were large and comfortable. The hotel is to be congratulated for including wifi connection in the room rate, which can be used anywhere in the hotel. Stayed at this iconic hotel as a part of our city getaway to celebrate our 15th. Wedding anniversary! Beautiful art and pictures from the era...

The Imperial has been over the years our choice when in Delhi. The spectacular architecture and interior, the comfy and first class rooms make it one of the best hotels in India. Service is impeccable, breakfast a delight and the variety of restaurants serving delicious food a pure pleasure.
